I have been using a Zeus ROM for a while. I see now the thread is closed and I can not find that there is a new thread for it. I am guessing that rom is no longer being developed.
I have been searching around for a hour and so and I am not sure where to go now.
I saw the new ICS CM9 rom. I like how it looks and how it runs. Because of local laws I have to have working BT audio when driving. Last reading there is still a BT issue with CM7 rom for Gingerbread.
I know this is a great matter of opinion what ROM's are great. What ROM out there that have GB have good working BT audio? I know some of the ROM out there had the same issue as CM7 with BT audio. It is not always noted what ones have working BT audio and what ones do not.
Thank you for any help.
I have a rom I released named [Dev]astaion that has working BT its also pretty smooth and fast with so far no issues at all with it. Its mainly a stock rom thiugh . So if you're looking for a fully custom themed rom I guess it wouldnt be for you. But you should check it out anyways, yeah? there's a link to it in my signature.

Zeus, in my opinion, is the best ROM out there. No offense to any other devs (ALL OF YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING). It has everything from lagfixes to improved modems.
Just stick to Zeus 6.0 as it is more stable than Z-TR in my honest opinion.
Cheers!

I'm trying the stock deodexed rooted version of UCLB3 with Entropy's latest MHL 4/4/12 kernel and I'm at 17+ hrs @ 25%.
Bluetooth works perfectly with my Blue Parrot headset and with the radio in my 2012 Camaro.

In my opinion zeus 5.2 with the ics theme is one of the best looking and most stable roms out there. I'm running it with the latest modem, and I think hdmi out is useless so that doesn't bother me. You could always change kernels to get hdmi.
I sure hope said 2012 Camaro doesn't have a torque converter in the transmission.

Said Camaro has a manual six speed.
I didn't mean that I use the Blue Parrot in the car. I drive a big truck and have to use a hands free device. The Camaro's radio has Bluetooth.
Nice ride! You probably feel some kind of sadness when you finish driving...

Tried a good few of the roms available, like them all but seem to keep falling back to CM7. The phone just seems to run the best with it. And the UCKJ1 modem is the best I've found for the area I live in!

Sorry, but I didn't (I did some searching, but I didn't actually try to install it). I did everything using only MIUI's built-in settings and GO Launcher.
Are there any ROMS biult upon 2.3.7 yet? I'm currently running GSInfuse, and I like the ROM, but I would prefer running the latest version of Android. (I always like having the latest and greatest kernel, OS, and modem on my phone).
Cm7 runs 2.3.7
Sent from my SGH-I997 using XDA App
Can I O/C CM7, or run my own Kernel? I personally like to keep up to date with the latest modems, and I'm running Kernel Infusion-GB-CoreA. If I can't OC it to at least 1.6 GHz, I won't run it.
cm7 has a built in oc kernel which does go to 1.6ghz. you can not run other gingerbread kernels on it that arent meant for cm7.
Cool on the Kernel, but can I install new modems to the ROM? I'm currently running KK3, and the speed is great.

Yes, I'm running KK3 on CM7 -- working flawlessly.
One caution though if you're considering CM7 -- bluetooth doesn't work, and won't work any time soon...
If that's a deal-breaker for you, then don't bother with CM7.
I've learned to live without my BT headset, because I cannot live without CM7
U can overclock to 1.6 on cm7 but it'll crash or at least mine did. 1.4 works tho.

Wish they could fix it. $250+ tickets for not using BT makes me have to have it. Loved CM7 on my captivate.
CM7 Bluetooth works, just not with all devices (headsets in particular). Wiimotes work perfectly and it also pairs with my computers.
bluetooth data works, bluetooth audio doesnt.

where are you getting that information from?
I recommend miui. It performs magnificently, but allows you to change your theme daily if you so choose. I'm running miui @ 1.4ghz and it has no problem with it.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda premium
the miui build is based off the cm7 build. you will still run into issues like bluetooth audio. so keep that in mind.
My "information" is i have compiled it and taken it completely apart and examied all the firmware and libs....i study....alot...check the forum
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
No offense intended, but you don't study hard enough then. You are completely and utterly incorrect. CM7 is indeed 2.3.7. Period.
I stand corrected then ...thanks

Hi!
This is a CM7 kernel built for skyrocket, based on my 0.43pre kernel, orientation etc. should be hunky-dory under CM7 now, and overclocking should be good
Give 'er a shot if you use CM7!
AT&T CM7 v4
Rogers CM7 v4
v4 - fixed usb storage mounting, optimizations, added Android USB Accessory support to match CM7 ROM, adjusted init scripts to allow 192MHz
Further notes re: overclocking etc: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20438625&postcount=28
Please leave any CM7-specific feedback here, anything that applies to the general kernel stuff in my other thread if you would
BTW, if you found BLN (Backlight Notification) was not activating for enough notifications with ROMs using touchwiz framework, this one should activate BLN for all notifications, making it much nicer and useful!

Does ICS youtube/widget work with these cyanogenmod builds? I read theres some framework from icecream sandwich in them. Does this kernel fix call audio without gps on issue?
Still tracking NFC problem, it is on my to-do, took it out for a jaunt and bluetooth/wifi/cell data/rotation/etc. are working great - did seem to get a little hotter than TPC v3 ROM when overclocked though, possibly due to the OS using more GPU resources?
I have not run CM7 ROM at all before a few hours ago, so am not familiar with the call-audio-gps-bug. But I just turned GPS off and called my voicemail a bunch, seems fine!
Did you guys flash the cyanogenmod build in this forum or is the Tmobile version updated more than the build here? Thats my last question!! Thanks alot for the progress here. I miss all the development in the Captivate forum but I know we'll get there soon.

mhl doesnt work in aosp on any samsung yet. if it makes it to the i9100 then entropy will try his best to port it to the infuse im sure. i think the skyrocket and i9100 also have bt issues on the ics roms.
if you want a phone with everything working ans are partial to samsung get a galaxy s. either a vibrant or a i9000 or captivate. the bt chip is different in the sgs and they are fully functional. if you want hdmi you need to switch to a different manufacturer. htc maybe. but i dont know for sure.
I don't know about you guy's, but i have been using Infused v2.2.3 with the blue Infusion V2 them as my daily driver for close to a year now. It has been rock solid right from the get go with everything working great, including bluetooth.
More recently i have updated the kernel to Infusion-Z which also adds HDMI-MHL video output capability. So with literally everything working perfectly and rock stable performance, there really is no need for me to keep flashing other ROMS.

I find that most ROM's try to distinguish themselves with themes and new lockscreens or task bars etc. I have found that the most important thing to me personally was a rooted rock solid base ROM where all functionality works all the time. The rest can be added individually such as ICS themes, wallpaper, custom lock screens, over clock, underclock etc to suit performance and battery life tastes.
Every month or so i get my feet wet with another ROM flash just for fun. However i always keep coming back. At the end of the day, all i really want is everything working reliably as it was intended when i need it.

Why are you bringing back a month old thread?
G2x-temasek CM7 build135.4 w/faux 054 kernel
Best ROM
In the interest of ACTUALLY ANSWERING the OP's question instead of being sarcastic, the answer is that currently on the G2X there really isn't any one GOOD/BEST ICS or Jelly Bean ROM. Yes it's possible to do it, and some work quite well. But all have flaws, and issues with hardware acceleration. Personally I'm using Genesis at the moment, it's nice and I like it, very stable and *almost* everything works. But I can't watch youtube vids at all! Seriously, they stagger, stutter, and generally lag behind the audio. I hear the source code's been released for other (similar) devices, hopefully sometime soon we'll have a true CM9/CM10 ROM. Best of luck!
Update: Now using Paranoid Android Build 12 + Trinity kernel and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!! Youtube etc works like a charm!! Only complaint is that there's no video recording (apps in the G'Play store can overcome this), sometimes the browser will crash when shifting from landscape back to regular view (once again, adjusting the settings properly overcomes this), and sometimes the phone lags slightly when I'm in the middle of an app and I press the home button (I'll see the home screen but it will be blank and takes 1-2 seconds before my apps/widgets will appear). Overall it's super stable and great for everyday use. It's probably the closest you'll come to a true ICS update at the moment. Close thread? lol
Paranoid Android ICS (CM9)
I am using Paranoid Android Rom and it is working flawlessly. I have NO problems!!!!! I fixed the Hardware acceleration and flashed a Harsh Kernel.
I have tried them all and PA delivered beyond my expectations. By the way Youtube is on deck and works without a hiccup.

I have been on hellfire phoenix for a while now, and there is nothing wrong that I can say about it, but I'm getting a little tired of not having to mess with my phone cause everything works perfect and lately I've been reading that the paranoid roms are pretty good, so I think I'm going to get this one a try, just a quick question though; does the latest build come with a kernel, or do I have to download a kernel and flash that after the rom??
