[Q] VLC Streaming - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
I last found an app with which I could play my videos from my phone wireless on my PC. I lost that app and now I am looking for it again. The only apps I can find are all only able to use your phone as a remote, so that you can play videos from your pc on your pc, by using your phone. However, I can't find one app that allows me to stream my mobile videos on my pc.
Anybody knows this app? I would be thankful!
Jelle

[Q] Stream Audio from Android to PC

Hello,
is there an app that allow me to stream the sound output form android to my pc or feed a icecast server?
galaxy 3, 2.1

I use Twonky Media Mobile. It will stream music to any DLNA compatible device. I am using it to stream the music from my Vibrant to my LG Blu-ray player (which outputs to my receiver) as we speak. It's a free app and it works well.
Just do a search for Twonky in the Android Market.
Something else you can do is use "Remote for iTunes". You can play your music on your iTunes from your phone. I literally just DJ'ed a party 2 days ago the entire night using this. I had my laptop hidden away and it worked awesomely.

Need Help. What player can play stream video?

Hi all,
I need some help. I couldn't find any info on my problem in TF forums, hence created a new topic.
The problem is that I can't watch an Online-TV (I use etvnet(dot)com to watch some Russian TV) on my TF. I tried stock player and Mobo player, but both of them can't open the file.
I don't know all the technical details, but I know that the video streams as WMV-file using MMS protocol. Any suggestions on what player can play it?
So far the only way I found was to watch it from my PC using Splashtop HD, however it's kinda slow and works awful in "full-screen" mode.
You can try plex to stream it from your PC to your TF101. Or use handbrake to re-encode it to something that the tf101 can play (search the tf101 forums for handbrake)

[Q] Video streaming and copying?

Hi everyone,
I have an iPad and use an app called VLC Streamer. The way it works is that you install a utility on your PC so that the app can talk to it so that when you choose a video, the utility transcodes that video so that the app can stream it correctly on the iPad. If you have the pro version, you can then copy that video to your iPad for offline viewing. Pretty cool yea?
Anyway, I was wondering if there is a similar app on WP7?
I am mostly interested in copying videos to my WP7 device without manually converting them.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I know it is quite common to stream media from PC to android or stream content from android to a smart TV or Chromecast etc; but is there any even reasonably elegant solution to stream media to PC.
I am well aware that I could use VNC (or similar) to control the PC or access files on my tablet from my PC using an FTP setup, however I am looking to playback media through PC from my devices.

I have used this app but I was not able to stream it, what can be the possible reasons?
not to fimiliar with similar apps. but ya bubbleupnp is weird if you have movies or pics they have to be in the DCIM?/the camera folder where the device saves stuff from the camera.
