Can anyone tell me if the TF101 from Asus and teh SL101 from Asus are identical inside?
i see a lot of comments on the TF101 and very little on the SL101 and if they are interchangable it would mean there is a lot more information out there. On the Asus site I compared the specs on both and they seem identical but I would rather someone else confirm that before I move forward.
I have downloaded ICS for TF101 and want to install it on my SL101 but not sure if it will work. Will try anyway unless someone tells me otherwise but it would be good to know in advance.
This is my machine:
Asus SL101 Eee Pad Slider
Android version 3.2.1
GPS Version V5.5.8
Wi-Fi version V5.2.65
Bluetooth version V6.24
Kernel version 2.6.36.3-00010g9a21fc1
[email protected] #1
Build Number HTK75.US.epad-8.6.5.21-20111216
MobileDock version SL101-0202
32GB SDCard
32GB External SDCard
I ahve downloaded US_epaduser9_2_17Updatelauncher.zip and unziped it to
US_epad_user-9.2.1.17.zip to put on the SDCard for update as I read on a note for TF101 users who are doing the update manually.
I have rooted the machine and have taken ROM backups and app backups so I'm ready to go but a little nervous.
Any help would be appreciated.
Jim
as the subject.. is any1 experience the same thing ?
previously on HC 3.2.1 never happen this thing, only after upgrade to ICS.
good afternoon,
i am having problems with the app external 2 internal by codlab since i updated jellybean 4.2.1 now the application does not work like when i had the jellybean 4.1.1. I dont know if the internal route memory changed, i dont know if someone is using this application with the version jellybean 4.2.1 on their Asus Transformer TF300T and it works. If it is like that please let me know if something was changed in the options that the application offers since it does not want to work for me. Any help would be great please.
I have an Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, and I would like to install Ubuntu Touch on it based off of this thread. Would it work on 4.2 (the current version of Android I have)? If not, what can I do to make it work (downgrading, etc.)?
Please delete this thread.
I was having issues starting up my Asus Transformer tf 101. One day my Asus Transformer tf101 would just flash the start up screen repeatedly. I found a solution on the internet on another site which worked but now my tablet has Android 3.0. I was going to post the link to this solution but I was not allowed since this was my first post. It was from justanswer. I would to have at least 4.0 if not 4.1 or 4.2. I have tried re-flashing new roms and following online tutorials but every time I do so the start up is just displayed until I turn it off or the battery dies. More specifically I have tried a couple different versions of the Nightlies and AOKP roms. This tablet originally came with Android 4.1.
Any ideas of what is happening or what I could be doing wrong?

Please install Goomanager and then Kitkass rom. You can find it in xda in an other thread.
