[Q] Asus Transformer tf101 problems flashing - General Questions and Answers

I was having issues starting up my Asus Transformer tf 101. One day my Asus Transformer tf101 would just flash the start up screen repeatedly. I found a solution on the internet on another site which worked but now my tablet has Android 3.0. I was going to post the link to this solution but I was not allowed since this was my first post. It was from justanswer. I would to have at least 4.0 if not 4.1 or 4.2. I have tried re-flashing new roms and following online tutorials but every time I do so the start up is just displayed until I turn it off or the battery dies. More specifically I have tried a couple different versions of the Nightlies and AOKP roms. This tablet originally came with Android 4.1.
Any ideas of what is happening or what I could be doing wrong?

Need Android Revolutions 2.3.2 TF101

I've searched Google countless hours coming to dead link after dead link in attempt to find a working download for Android Revolutions HD 2.3.2. As far as I'm aware 2.3.2 is the last version that had the capability to overclock the CPU. I tried the later ICS version but found I didn't like the interface nor it's performance on the TF101 in comparison to 2.3.2
Anyone know where I can download 2.3.2? Mike1986 should keep all old roms available for download because unfortunately devices fail.

If you have asked mike already and told you no I doubt anyone else has one... That's why you back up ROMs to the PC and as for keep backups of old files it takes a lot of space and he manages several devices... You can try looking on tablet forums if you haven't check already but that's a older rom ... Your bound to run into problems
Not being rude just saying
Samsung Galaxy S3
AOKP 4.2.2 by Task650
Ktoonz Kernel w/KingBeatz
ASUS TF101
A.R.H.D ICS 3.6
Harmony Kernel w/KingBeatz
If you want to overclock, use 3.5 or 3.6 and run a custom kernel like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693799
Or this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1565519
Step 1 Flash it in recovery
Step 2 wipe cache and Davlik
Step 3 Profit
I'll check if I have it on my tablet's microSD, I save all rom downloads... brb
EDIT: Sorry, the earliest version I have is 3.2.1, I recommend using a kernel as Fred suggested^^
Oops.. no delete button :\
Thanks
Thanks to those who replied. Your responses helped me to figure out what to do. I ended up spending much of the day catching up because I couldn't find the Harmony Kernel. I ended up getting aggravated and decided to use RaymondFX JellyBean AOSP 5.1.0 which includes the Harmony Kernel modded for JellyBean. Frederuco thanks for suggesting the Harmony Kernel, that actually got me on the right track to a suitable solution. The instigator of this whole mess, was I couldn't get a Bluetooth keyboard to function with 3.2.3. It'd connect but even after purchasing a high rated bluetooth app, I was unable to type a word with it. Then Google uploader or whatever it was quit functioning, I couldn't upload anything. I figured a reinstall of 3.2.3 would solve but finding it to download turned into a nightmare.

[Q] TF201 - Nightly installation issue....

Greetings!
I've been experiencing an issue in which anytime I try to install a newer nightly, my TF201 freezes at the ASUS splash screen. However when I try to install one of the older Rom versions (From March or April) the ROM installs no problem. I'm wondering if this issue has been covered already or if anyone can give me an idea as to how to correct the issue. (Tried it with numerous nightlies numerous times)
Cheers

[Q] No-name CM10.2 nightlies wan't boot on tf101g

Hi all.
I'm trying to run CM10.2 on my tf101g from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402752
But all i'm getting after flashing from TWRP only asus splash and nothing is booting there. What i must to check or look for to fix this? CM10.1 with android 4.2.2 running very nice, but when i trying to go on 4.3 it fails. Flashing process done ok without any problem.
KatKiss with 4.3 also booted without any problem, but y really liked CM.
So, any advice? By the way, what happend with those builds from NoName team? No update since the end of september, why so?
Sorry, but I can't post in development forum due to restrictions for new users. Thanks for helping and for great job by the way.

[Q] what to choose? kitkat rom

Hi
I am new in this forum so bare with me I have had the Asua transtormer infinity tf700t since it came out in 2012. It ia 100% stock with the android 4.2.1 intalled. I dont think i runs as well as it had done running on the earlier android versions. I just got a hold on a Asus nexus 7, also 100% stock on android 4.4.2, whch runs much better. I know that the nexux diveces are running smooth, but i think that a transformer tf700t can run much better then it does now. I am thinking about trying a costum rom wich i think will run much better. But I am not sure if there is a very good rom out there yet. Is there a rom where everything is working fot the tf700t like bluetooth, wifi, sound, camera, mic and alle the other stuff??? It is also very importent for me that the dock is working like it should and the usr of a external sd card in both the tablet itselve and the dock!
The only reson that I consider using another rom is that I dont think it is running as it could. I have tried doing a factory reset mant times...
Is there a good rom outthere yet or should I wait???? Which one should I use if there are a good one?????
PS I am not an advanced user, but I doo know how to use a computer and follow a guide Apparently I am not that good at English eighter...

I'm pretty sure once you run a custom rom you are going to kick yourself you waited this long
A ROM for "everything works like stock including all dock functions only much, much better": CROMi-X 5.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425383
A KitKat ROM: CM11
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957660
CyanogenMod ROMs are developed from the ground up and then forked for specific devices. Since they don't use Asus firmware they have to use generic drivers for keyboard etc. Expect some bugs but most things work. Check their thread for current issues
Another KitKat ROM: CROMBi-KK
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2672751
Two weeks young, a hybrid of CROMi-X and CM11 on CM11 base. It's still in beta, so there are bugs
For your first custom rom I would recommend CROMi-X. Read the OP of it's thread very carefully and then browse through it. To read it all you need to take a few days off
And finally here are some instructions how to flash them: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2688891

SL101 v3.2.1 Won't Download Apps, i need help.

Hi, i'm new to sliders and this eee pad slider SL101. My gf won it at work but it's butt ugly old version (v3.2.1 honeycomb) and there's no system update available.
The main purpose of me coming here is because of this download issue im experiencing, where any app i try to download doesn't download and an error occurs.
My Build number is: HTK75.US_epad-8.6.5.13-20110925
Kernel: [email protected] #1
I've looked around but everything is scattered and not much info on this SL101.
I want to update this old version v3.2.1 to kitkat 5.1. I've looked at razorclaw root but the download link is broken and i don't want to use a TF101 rooting methods yet, and end up bricked.
Can anyone clarify what the differences or risks are, i've read that they are very similar and i've seen compatibility packs for SL101 from TF101 made programs/software. I'm not exactly sure where to go from here because seems like i can't update version without recovery to flash which i can't do until i'm rooted and im not even jellybean 4.0+ which most TF101 threads revolve around android 4.4+/5.0+.
I've downloaded the first firmware package here to update a bit but i'm unsure if this will even work. Should i go through to SOP and try to do it as explained?

Can anyone help me?
