[Q] Ubuntu Touch on TF300T questions - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, and I would like to install Ubuntu Touch on it based off of this thread. Would it work on 4.2 (the current version of Android I have)? If not, what can I do to make it work (downgrading, etc.)?

[Q] asus transformer rom with adk support

Hi,
I have been trying to get adk support from the transformer with no luck. Was wondering if any of the roms out there have adk support or if there is a way to hack support into the stock 3.2.1.
Thanks,

[Q] TF101 and SL101 same internally?

Can anyone tell me if the TF101 from Asus and teh SL101 from Asus are identical inside?
i see a lot of comments on the TF101 and very little on the SL101 and if they are interchangable it would mean there is a lot more information out there. On the Asus site I compared the specs on both and they seem identical but I would rather someone else confirm that before I move forward.
I have downloaded ICS for TF101 and want to install it on my SL101 but not sure if it will work. Will try anyway unless someone tells me otherwise but it would be good to know in advance.
This is my machine:
Asus SL101 Eee Pad Slider
Android version 3.2.1
GPS Version V5.5.8
Wi-Fi version V5.2.65
Bluetooth version V6.24
Kernel version 2.6.36.3-00010g9a21fc1
[email protected] #1
Build Number HTK75.US.epad-8.6.5.21-20111216
MobileDock version SL101-0202
32GB SDCard
32GB External SDCard
I ahve downloaded US_epaduser9_2_17Updatelauncher.zip and unziped it to
US_epad_user-9.2.1.17.zip to put on the SDCard for update as I read on a note for TF101 users who are doing the update manually.
I have rooted the machine and have taken ROM backups and app backups so I'm ready to go but a little nervous.
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Trying to figure out what board my tablet is.

I have a Asus Tranformer Prime tf700t and I want to know what board it has. A lot of the linux distros are released by board and not device. My tab is unlocked, rooted, and custom rom and recovery. I tried ubuntu but the preview is crap if anyone else has tried it they know. I am running archlinux on my pc so I am no newbie but I want to install arch, fedora, slackware, or debian. I want to run linux natively not in chroot, tried that and did not like it. I don't mind if the arch is just the bare bones I have no problem installing from scratch. Most people confuse the prime with the infinity and most guides are for the infinity and the images they provide obviously dont work for the prime.

The Prime is the TF201. The TF700T is the Infinity. So what do you have?
Both are derivatives of the NVidia "cardhu" Tegra 3 development tablet.

Omni Rom for Asus Memo Pad 8 k011

Hey guys! Thanks for the great work. I just want to learn if there is an Omni Rom for Asus Memo pad 8 k011? If there isn't, than is it possible to make it? Asus' custom rom sucks.
