After flashing this fix on Lithium v1.1, the power menu just reboots the device and doesn't display the shutdown/reboot menu at all. I yet to notice any other problems that might have happened as the result of flashing the RTL text fix, but I hope that's this is the only one.
I also hope that there's a way to fix this kind of annoying [but not major] problem, without re-flashing the rom (and his update). Any ideas?

After flashing the RTL fix I linked, or before? Because before flashing it, I had no problems with the power menu too.

Never mind. Problem solved. I just followed the directions to patch framework.jar from the blog that was linked in the fix's thread: http://blog.devasque.com/?page_id=11
Now after patching and flashing the framework.jar from the lithium's rom (instead of just flashing the mod from the thread), both the power menu and the RTL text in applications displays without any issues.
Carry on
edit: framework.jar AND libandroid_runtime.so

At the bottom of the post there are 2 zip files, one to flash the recovery on boot and one to remove recovery on boot.
Me, as well as a few others have tested this on our atrix 2 and have seen exceptional results. There are minor bugs but thats why I remove it if I dont need it.
Bug1- seems to make gps weird
Bug2- removes oc on rebel rom, maybe others
Bug3: tell me
Thia allows you to boot straight into recovery on every boot. I use it as a savehaven. I flash it before i flash something and if it doesnt put me in a boot loop i reboot recovery and flash the second zip file.
If ive posted in the wrong forum, feel free to move it. Thanks.

From what the OP says, this shouldnt effect gps. Some users have had it affect gps, some havent. The only fix as of this moment is removal of the mod. But i never use it unless i flasg something, then i disable it anyways, so gps was never an issue

Does having cwm on boot installed give you a flashing green led whenever you turn your screen off?? Or is it just me? I've been trying to figure out what's causing this for a couple days now..
EDIT: nope. I just uninstalled it and rebooted a couple of times and it still flashes.. no notifications, just the led.. might have to make this a question in the general thread...

Hey guys!
I just used the RebelROM, and I applied the 1% mod.... But somewhere between there I found out when I went to bed that when I tried to lock it, it didn't turn all the way off.
And also I can't seem to change my brightness.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 Beta-4
It could be any number of things causing that behaviour. First thing I would do is boot into recovery, clear the caches and repair permissions.
Running RebelRom Beta 3
KEB is right, it could be a number of reasons. Let's start simple.
Why did you flash a ROM for the A2 on your GSII?
I would do as KEB suggests. If that didn't work, I would reflash the ROM since actually finding out what happened could be quite time consuming. It definitely isn't related to the 1 percent mod since I'm running it on Rebel with no issues.
Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk
Fixed it.
Before I posted I tried fixing permissions but forgot to clear my cache. I thought I would have been smarter than the noobs and actually do that.....
Thanks for the help you guys!

This is a zipthemer theme. Should work for all TW ROMs.
My goal is to get rid of all of the non ICS Blue colors in place for ICS or white depending on what area the color is.
NOTE: JB Users, make sure to uncheck the li-droid part in zipthemer before creating your zip.
Features
*ICS Blue Clock with smaller AM/PM
*ICS Blue Battery Icon and %
*ICS Blue Toggles
*ICS Blue Signal Icon and Data Arrows
*ICS Blue WiFi Icon
*ICS Blue Date and Carrier Label.
*ICS AOSP Quick Settings Icon
*ICS Blue MMS and Phone Icon
-0.02 Changelog-
*Added More ICS Blue to SystemUI. Still tweaking it in other apps.
-Added a theme to MMS. If u dont like it, flash the undo and rebuild by unchecking the MMS theme.
-Themed parts of phone, contacts, Gallery
-More to come in 0.03.
Tested on CleanROM but should work on synergy and beans. If someone can test and let me know.
Install Zip themer from market.
Also Personalized mods can be made.
If u like my work hit the thanks button or throw me a small token of appreciation.

Mount /system in CWM before flashing. Sometimes it doesn't do it automatically, and the files won't get copied over.

Here's my Synergy setup.
I ported over most of the ICS Domination stuff into the ROM. I didn't want to just use the theme itself because I didn't want to mess anything up in the SystemUI or framework. I also got the onscreen navigation buttons working and was able to order them correctly. I am loving this ROM!
I'm on stock 4.0.4, rooted... UOT Kitchen isn't working for me, as my phone uses SystemUI.apk instead of the framework for my statusbar icons. So what I did was I went through the steps at the Kitchen to get my UOT zip, unzipped and pulled the images and xml files. I then added the 200+ battery icons to my drawable-hdpi folder from systemui (using 7zip), and then added the xml files to the drawable folder.
I did this once before, and after clearing the dalvik, battery stats and cache, it worked...but this time my battery icon has disappeared altogether.
I put the images and xml files in the framework as well just to be sure...but no go. I've tried a couple different attempts from UOT but nothing. I even tried rom toolbox, but apparently it doesn't replace the xml files.
I read something about the kernel maybe affecting this...Is that true?
Is there a Kernel that is stable that I can use on stock ICS?
I have searched and searched, but cannot find a good answer to this, so please don't go off about the search button. The kernels all seem to be older, and the last one I tried to flash that was supposed to work left me with a reflash.
Oh, and the stock rom I'm on has been deodexed and zip aligned..
Thanks in advance!
PS.. I have been researching kernels, but they list things that I am unfamiliar with, or don't know if I want...etc...but I want this to work, and I would love for custom boot animations to work through rom toolbox and such. Also I know I could decompile the xml's to fix the battery, but I'm having trouble with Java on my laptop at the moment. If anyone is on stock with 1% battery icons, if you could extract and post the xml's that would be great...!
UOT kitchen supports GB/ICS ROMs, including TouchWiz ones. You just need to upload SystemUI.apk, framework.res and twframework.res - and you'll get a flashable ZIP.
I was under impression it's very clearly stated there.
It is, but I always get the stf....something..error when I include my systemui.APK...
In any case the xml files the kitchen gives me should still work..because the folder hierarchy is the same as the framework-res.APK...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
Every APK has the same folder structure. It doesn't mean that the files from one will work on another.
You might have taken one XML too many. Battery icons don't hurt anything, wrong XMLs can.
Also you need to be deodexed for it to have any effect, so I'm assuming you're running deodexed stock root?
Battery icons, I think, are in the twframework_res.apk, not in Systemui.apk
Also, on a tw rom a lot of the default images have a tw_ prefix.

Because it didn't show the 1% increments...only the several that are default.
I went and reflashed a uot zip I had previously, and it seems to have corrected the xml...works again. Not sure why flashing it worked but not manually replacing the xml..

And I'll be darned if I'm back to square one with this..
I have searched and searched for hours and cannot find a legitimate 1% battery mod that works for Skyrocket and this Rom...Yet there does seem to be a plethora out there for other phones..
Does anyone have a clear-cut solution for this, aside from manually compiling/decompiling? Anyone? Is there a mod that would work for this phone?
CM10 includes a circle mod 1% battery mod already.
System (or Rom Control, whatever it's called) > Status Bar > Battery Icon

What's wrong with just the percentage battery? Are you strictly looking for a circle? He probably just hasn't updated his base build since the circle mod was a fairly recent addition to CM10. You could always just flash CM10. But in all reality there are a ton of battery mods out there, all of which are 1%. I duno why you can't find any.
