cleared store cache?
maybe reinstal the rom. I haven't had any issues with it. but when I flash a new rom i clear cache, dalvik, and emmc (internal sd card) every time.
Have you changed your pixel density? That can affect whether market apps show up or not.

Supposedly, Temple Run by Imangi Studios came out on the market, well, it's a fake.
I downloaded it, when you click the play button, it says coming in 4 days 10 hours..., then it says hit like on facebook to play. Well, I doubt they would do that if it was real. Also, I got ad-notifications.
DON'T DOWNLOAD IT YET. They will post it officially on facebook when released.
good looking out. If I would have saw it I would have downloaded.
Um I think I have a virus on my phone now....I uninstalled the app (I downloaded it before finding out that their was fake) and now I keep getting shortcuts added to my home screen....I don't understand why is it doing that considering I already removed the app and there's nothing left to uninstall.

Have you tried any of the lookout security apps?
Yeah, I installed lookout and it said my system was clean but every time I reboot my phone, a new app shortcut is added to my home screen.

Since nobody else has weighed in... maybe download an app like Gemini App Manager or Autostarts and see if you can find remnants of the app that has an autostart script on it. Or try clearing your caches including Dalvik. Just some ideas.
I knew this thread would come out handy.

Thanks for the help. I tried using Gemini and autostarts and couldn't find anything but I think clearing the caches did the trick.

Quick question, I'm running latest euroskank on my ladies phone and mine. for some reason after she deletes some pictures from gallery they come back after a reboot. Sometimes they reappear hours later. Like I said same Rom on my phone and all is well. What do you guys think it could be? She is using internal storage btw.. Thanks in advance.

That's weird, maybe try Clearing Gallery cache?
You know I haven't tried that.. I even downloaded an alternative gallery viewer and it would do same thing. I will try that and report back with a thanks if it works.

Same thing happened to me while using ICS Passion v11 on my Vibrant a while ago. I solved it by clearing data from the Gallery app, and then rebooting. If you don't reboot right after, the pics would always come back.

Also some apps like Picasa and Google+ will sometimes put them back on the phone.

Yea I have instant upload off for both.

+1 on clearing data and cache. I think what is happening is that the image is getting deleted but for whatever reason the thumbnail isn't getting erased as well. The one and only time I had the ICS gallery bug all I did was clear the data and cache, and I have had no problems since.

Oh, and I didn't realize this, but some of the pics were synced with Picasa as well (feature of having a Gmail account on an Android phone), and kept resyncing. Try to uncheck that option as well.
So I cleared data and cache and rebooted. I deleted some pictures and rebooted again. Soon enough they were back on camera folder. I just don't know why they don't permanently delete. She has camera zoom fx. I know she recently unintalled it because it was giving her problems. Think that might be the cause?

Yea that's not the problem. I've had it unchecked for months. I'm thinking it might be camera zoom fx data that's messing things up. Like I said before she unintalled it because it was corrupting all the pictures taken thru the app. I'll delete that and see was up.
Sent from my LG-P999
Really? I've had Zoom FX installed for about 3 weeks now and I haven't noticed any problems with deleted photos. Are there any Gallery replacement apps installed? I use QuickPic instead of the stock Gallery app, since I've read it drains battery by constantly scanning for new pics.
Now that I think about it, I used the stock app on the Vibrant as well. Haven't noticed any issues since installing Quickpic... try that and see how it goes.

So are you saying you turned it off from the app or in settings under accounts? You keep saying upload but it's download you want to turn off. Camera fx won't have anything to do with this. When the app is uninstalled it has zero chance of running rogue code. Especially such a popular app as that. Try doing a search for all jpgs on your device through your desktop/laptop search function. Make sure it's absolutely clear of the photos you want including cached ones. If none of this works you might just have to do a system format and reinstall her os.

Try deleting the LOST.dir on your SD card. That's essentially like emptying the recycle bin on windows. That may help.

Did you ever get this figured out? I am having the same problem. I delete photos from gallery and they all come back. I turned off Google syncing of photos & apps data, Disabled Google +, Picasa, I don't have Facebook syncing photos, cleared Gallery Cache and Data, unloaded Dropbox, Deleted LOST.dir. Every time I reboot, the deleted pictures come back. It's driving me nuts!

So this just started a couple of days ago, when I uninstalled a program, and went to reinstall it from the market, the market said, "this is not compatible with your device" yet I had it installed already.
I cleared cache/dalvik, fixed perms, cleared the market cache, checked my build.prop (looks ok)
any ideas?

Have you tried clearing the Data for the Play Store App? I know I've had to do that from time to time when the app just all of a sudden FC's on me.
To clear the data, Settings -> Manage Applications -> Play Store -> Clear Data button.
I've seen that message in play store before. But it turned out to be that I was logged in under a different login when it happened. Have you tried using your computer and going to the play store to install it?

Ok. So I keep getting this error message when I try to download apps. It doesn't happen to all of them. Weird thing is I can download this app to my transformer with no problems and once it's downloaded to that I can download it on my phone using the my apps section. I'm stock rooted cwm touch recovery. I've cleared market data and wiped cache several times. Any help would be great.

I used to get a similar error back in the android market days. Some gentle google searches led me to believe it has to do with downloading too many apps in a short time period.

Interesting pwhoeler, I wonder if its too many in a short period of time, or too many at the same time (Or both) - may have to play with it.

For folks new to this Google Services Framework can be found: Settings>Application Manager>"ALL" Tab">Google Services Framework>Clear Data
Yea. It had nothing to do with downloading to many apps. Once I cleared the Google services data and market data again it was fine after aafter a reboot

Have you tried rebooting? This is hard to fix without root. Also go through and clear the caches for all of your google apps (Gmail, Maps, Gtalk, etc) by going to Settings - Apps - All. Hope this helps.
