[Q] ICS allways on when charging - HTC Sensation

I am running a ICS rom 3.32.401.5_R. I would like to configure it so when I am plugged in to usb the screen allways stays on, but when the phone is not plugged in it switches off.
I have seen a setting under display for screen time out, but it does not seem to matter if you are charging or not.
Is there a way to change this?
Edit never mind! Just found the option in development option!

The phone automatically wakes from standby, how to solve???

My phone automatically wakes from stand by after flashing Faria's vanilla ROM. This is the first time this is happening. I remeber people having the same problem, but I couldn't find the solution for it, can anyone help me with the problem..
Something like having both the screen off enabled, along with the password enabled. Disable one or the other and it should go away. As far as a solution to allow you to use both - I haven't personally seen one yet. I just hit phone lock and then the power button. Even with both enabled, it isn't an issue if you turn off the phone this way.

[Q] Backlight Issue with Brightness Scale

I am having an issue with my TF where I cannot set the Brightness scale to anything but "Auto" - if I attempt to manually change it, the backlight turns off and the only way I can get it back on is to plug the tablet into the charger. The unit then jumps up to 100% brightness, but if I unplug it, the backlight turns off.
When the unit is plugged in, I can move the brightness scale and can see the screen dim and brighten as it should...
I have the latest firmware (8.2.3.9)... any ideas???
Some more info... if the backlight turns off, I can do a reset of the device by holding down the power key and then turning the unit back on. The startup screens do display properly, but when the device comes up, the screen darkens again. You can also make out the time and see some transitions between screens very faintly... its just the backlight that is off, everything else works fine.
The screen illuminates properly once again when plugged in...
The fact that the startup screens (the Asus and eee pad title screens) illuminate properly leads me to believe that this is a software issue. Help!!
Addendum: It appears I CAN adjust the brightness scale without being plugged in somewhat... the backlight turns off if I attempt to slide the brightness scale above 2/3 full brightness or so... anything lower than that is fine (or 'AUTO'). But, again, if the device is plugged in, FULL Brightness is possible.
This is very frustrating... I don't know whether to RMA this (who knows how long this will take), return to BestBuy (who doesn't have any units), or wait for a possible software fix??

ive seen one othet person reporting this problem,
since its not a common problem,
your best bet is to RMA it.
dig in in the forum snd see what the other person did.
what did you do to get this issue sorted? I have the exact same problem whilst running a rooted Transformer running Prime 1.5
Same problem here
I just started having the same issue, too (stock ROM). Tried factory reset, but didn't help.
Has anyone else found a solution, or should I just RMA?

[Q] Questions about charging via the docks USB port

Why hallo thare Infinity peeps!
I have started to use my Infinity to charge my Gnote at school and I just noticed that when I turn of the screen/lower the pad to the dock, it stops charging the phone. I guess this is some kind of powersaver feature and I cant find a way to turn it off, anyone know how??
The dock is only on when the tablet is. No other way around it.
argh, that sux.. :/ No way of charging from the HDMI port?
Not to my knowledge, no.
While I'm sure it's true you can't charge with the tablet off, you might be able to turn the screen off without turning the tab off, at least save some power. I'd explore tasker for that if I were you. Might have to get creative, but I'm sure it's possible to find some sort of compromise.
For example, you might create a scene with a button to trigger 1) mute the volume 2) play an mp3 on a loop 3) turn the display off.

Screen on after wireless charging

I have a very specific tweak I want to achieve. When removing the phone from a wireless charger the screen screen remains off.
Is there a way to get the screen to turn on automatically (like if you were to remove from USB charging)

if thr s no built-in setting for accessories so install 3rd party app like smart connect of Xperia to manage wht phone does after a specific action.
:good:
This is crazy, I even downloaded Tasker and still not able to achieve screen on after removal from wireless charging.
It would be a nice feature, I'm using a wireless charger as well and you are right, the display doesn't turn on when you pick up the phone. It's weird because it turns on when you put into the pad (just like a wired charger).
Did you try with "Trigger" app to trigger a task (from Tasker) which turns on the screen when the charger is disconnected?
I will try to do some research, and I will let you know if I find something
Any luck with this? I'm running Xposed Framework + Gravity Box. Even with "Unplug turns on screen" checked under "Display Tweaks", it still only turns on when placed on my Tylt Vu. Doesn't turn on when taken off.

S6 not charging via USB

Hi,
Last night, I put my S6 onto ultra power saving mode before I went to sleep. All the settings were turned on but when I proceeded to my homescreen, I still had all my third party apps on the screen. The phone then froze and I couldn't navigate across my homescreen and my notification bar was stuck.
I manually restarted my phone and then put it to charge.....but it didn't charge......:crying:
I fiddled around with the USB port, tried a different charger, tried a different phone (and it charged without fail).
For some reason, wireless charging still works which moves me onto the theory of a hardware problem. I also put my phone onto safe mode and it still wouldn't charge, so clearly it wasn't a third party app.
I'm not 100% sure yet, but it appears that my phone might faintly be charging while its turned off.
Does anyone have any theories (and solutions) to my problem. I may end up factory resetting but I'm trying my best to avoid that. I still firmly believe that it is a software bug as the phone froze while I was changing the battery mode and that's when the problem arised.
Many Thanks

Sounds as Hardware Issue for USB Port , ok bro ,
is your phone recognize when you connect it to pc ?
are you tring to use different cable for charge ? may be problem in the cable not the charger .
if you are try another cable and the problem still exist so last hope to make factory reset and see if the problem will solve or not , don't forget to make backup of your data first .
i advice you to go to Techanical Shop and check your usb port .
