[Q] How do I get STOCK ROM(Rogers) - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hi guys, I saw thread about Stock rom for Rogers but it was wrong address. So, Can I get a stock rom for Roges? or send a email.

I need no rooted stock rom.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1326143
tried this?

(Odin) UXKG3 Stock rooted packages

ITs such an easy process to get back to stock...I had a Nexus S, and getting to stock I pretty much had to do a raindance. Through Odin on the Infuse = peice of cake. Thanks to the post above, saved my skin.

For future reference, i suggest you go into cwm now and make a backup of your stock rom (although rooted), so if ever needed, you flash stock and unroot in using super one click. a bit less stressful... i dislike the download mode...it just looks scary...

[Q] Go Back to stock?

Search isn't working, and this isn't really in the bible, so I thought I'd ask; How can I return the phone to 100% stock if i need to return my phone to T-Mobile?
Ù‹What are you on currently?
go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117554&highlight=bible
then find the noob's guide to ODIN, and flash back one of the stock ODIN ROMs.
Gasp!! I love the sgs4g
ive been wondering this myself thanks for the link

[Q] Is there a 1-click to stock available?

Flashing my captivate was easy enough, so I offered to flash my cousin's Galaxy S 4G to GB.
...not easy enough. Many hours later I managed to still have the ext4 issues documented. And decided it was safer to just flash back to stock Froyo so that things are working for him.
Is there a one-click Odin solution to flash back to stock? I can't seem to find one. Whether it's one-click or not I also can't tell which Odin rom reflects stock + root (as in, out of T-Mobile's box + root). Can someone provide a link? There's a number of links that say stock...why so many? which actually reflects what you'd get out of the box?
His phone is running just fine, used this link to flash, and grabbed the rom suggested in that post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1001759
But he's missing the Samsung Feeds and Updates widget...which he likes (I can't stand touchwiz myself). I'm trying to resolve that for him...
honestly
id go with audiophile for frayo trigger frost or icbinb trigger does have the bloater package that lets you add back in the apps if u need those...
If it was my phone, I'd spend the time messing with it to install the rom I want. But these Galaxy S 4g installs aren't very straight forward (at this time, my reference point is with a captivate, my first android device, so I am a "noobish" user). Trying to keep it as simple as possible so that I don't have to mess with his phone all day, like I did yesterday and wasted my afternoon.
I looked through the forums again...doesn't look like one exists (or it's not clear to me)....sounds to me it would be a good idea for a dev to work up an odin one-click, if not for anything else, at least for warranty purposes.
The reason why we have so many stock builds is because we've gotten a lot of...builds, lol. Also, by stock, I'm guessing you meant out of box stock, all odexed.
We went from KB5 > KC1 > KD1 > KF1 > KF2 > KG4 > KG6 > KH1 > KH2. You could probably guess that KB5 is out of box stock.
All of these are available in stock with their bootloaders, except for KF1 and KF2. Those are probably considered inferior GB builds by now and nobody is using them. As of now, there is no stock + root GB ROM. However, the process to flash a GB ROM and root via Odin is rather simple.
For GB stock, just download the KG4/KG6/KH1/KH2 leak and Odin it. To gain root, flash drhonk's KG4 kernel. Be sure to carefully read instructions on that.
For Froyo, you can download any stock KB5/KC1/KD1 ROM and root it through SuperOneClick. It's a very simple process for Froyo.
Hope I helped!
That did help, thanks a lot for the explanation.

Help a nooby out, will take tomatoes!

Hey guys...i succesfully flashed, rooted my phone, ended up with a few roms but ultimately wanted to go back to stock Rogers rom.
I found the GTG ultimate unbrick ad thought that might get me where i needed to be, but ufnrotunately not as it is ATT rom.
I then found Odin_Stock_Rogers_UXKG3_Kernel, which is almost what i need but it is a rooted & CWM version of the ROM, also, some of the apps dont work and there is no data.
Does anyone have a link to the absolute stock Rogers rom? I really need to go back to stock, I assume the only way to go back to stock would be to have the rom, which I dont, and to use Odin.
Please and thank you.

Stock recovery.

Hi, all.
Want to prepare for ICS update....
It been a long time since I messed with the phone 9 month or so....LOL
Have S-OFF, CWM, rooted, but still on stock ROM, since I use my HD2.
I remember seeing somewhere a thread with instruction on how to switch back to stock recovery.... one of the requirements of flushing ICS OTA.
Now I searched everywhere and can't find it....
Would you be so kind to point me to it?
Thanks in advance!
Get it from any RUU and flash via fastboot
but you'll need an RUU anyway as you need to 100% stock to use the ota
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I'd do a Nandroid Backup of the stock rom. I think this is the easiest way to restore stock rom if you need.

Shoot throw me in the same boot! I tried reading mikes guide for updating and I think its probably 100x simpler just doing the OTA and calling it a day. I'm not sure how much I'll personally be going back to this phone as I've crossed over to the SGSII now but seeing how HTC is putting out that limiting "one" phone I suspect this will be my last HTC phone for awhile.
I'm not dissing mikes ARHD rom either but I'm looking for the simplest of simplest instructions (other than OTA) like:
1. D/L (only) this one file/ROM and CWM/4EXT and flash.
2. ???
3. Profit.

[Q] Colorful screen bootloop

Have a t959V SGS4G with Froyo. I rooted it, and unlocked it. I then attempted to flash AntonX's "Basic with a Twist SGS4G KJ6 1.1.3" kernel using the SGS Flash tool. It seems that this Kernel is a Gingerbread Kernel, which I flashed on a Froyo system.
When it rebooted after that flash, the screen became multicolored, almost like static and gibberish, and is not boot looping. It wont get past the initial Galaxy S 4G splash screen. I tried the multiple means of accessing download mode with no success. I did just order a jig, but that wont be here for a few days.
Prior to flashing the new kernel, I did backup the old kernel, so its on the SD card.
Any thoughts on how to recover?
Many thanks!!
Use the guide in the second link of my signature and flash with bootloaders. You do not have GB bootloaders which is the reason for the rainbow screen.

ks for your reply. That guide is impressive. i can see a lot of work was put intot hat. It looks like I would take this option:
2.This guide can be used if you flashed a ROM made for a different model phone (i.e. Vibrant):
----> Follow Directions for Flashing WITH BOOTLOADERS
However, I didnt flash the whole ROM. Just the kernel. So, I have aapparantly a Gingerbread based Kernel with a Froyo Rom. In this case, do I want to go to a FROYO kernel, or go to a Gingerbread (or a JB??) ROM?
I have the ultimate goal of going to a JB ROM. I'm starting to think I cant just flash the JB ROM over the Froyo, or can I? I'll have to peruse the forums a bit to learn more about that.
Finally - I cant seem to access download mode via any of the methods presented. I ordered a jig, so when that arrives, I'll follow the guide and either downgrade the kernel or upgrade the ROM.
This devide seems a bit more complicated to work with than the Nexus S that I was previously toying with.
Thanks for your input and assistance.
What are you doing?! Stahp!
You are still in Froyo? Why not migrate to Gingerbread?
By the way we only have ICS, for now.

You will need to follow the complete guide including flashing bootloaders if you want to upgrade to GB or ICS. No you cannot flash GB or ICS from Froyo recovery because of the bootloaders. As mentioned above, we do not have JB. If you want to flash back to froyo there is a KD1 One-Click FB put together. Let me know if you want to stay on Froyo for some reason and I will find the link for you.

Many thanks. I dont want to stay on Froyo. I'm helping a friend with this device, and she had never updated from Froyo. I'll take a look at moving into Slim ICS, since theres no JB for this device, unless anybody has any better suggestions.
This whole problem started for me after I realized that to get ROM Manager working on this phone, I had to go to a different Kernel. I didnt realize that the kernel I picked had the wrong boot loaders, and Voila. A rather unattractive rainbow screen. As soon as I can get into download mode, I'll jump on this.
I thank everyone again for their input.

ROM Manager does not work for this device and can cause issues.
