I am currently trying to flash my Sprint Nexus S to Boost Mobile. I have all working except data. I need to read the NV Items 466 and 1192 on the prevail. Those items contain my HA and AAA shared keys which I need to get for my data to work
Is there any other ways to get my HA and AAA shared keys from my boost mobile samsung prevail?

Can internet sharing be enabled on the i907 through media net rather than att isp? IF so, How? If not, can OEM Internet Sharing program be replaced with one from a tilt that does not have the preconfigured connection settings? If so, will someone send it to me?
Just reminding you we will deal with HTC devices.
you might not get an answer at all.
sorry
Here is what you need to do to get Internet Connection Sharing on the Epix.
First download Total Commander. Then you’ll need to delete the entire key, not just the value, which does something different depending on the value assigned) in this modification. You will want to delete ForceCellConnection, which is found under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings.
hi i was fooling around with my new lg thrill and now my imei's been zero'ed out everything seems to work fine but i don't want to use it on the network because of my sketch imei.
heres what ive tried so far:
- tried the o2x method of using telnet (hyperterminal) and using the at command but i keep getting IMEI WRITE ERROR or something along those lines.
- tried looking around for some kind of system files like sammy's nv_data.bin but i haven't found anything yet. anybody know which file/s on the lg android filesystem store the imei?
ANY IDEAS
i mean worst case scenario i'll play dumb and have att replace it, but i dont want to drive all the way over to att and make up a bs excuse. id rather fix it at home.
thanks everyone! i really screwed up and once i get this fixed up i'll make sure i have proper backups before trying stuff out.
I didn't find too ... nv_data.bin i think is just for samsung and other ... i don't know what's for lg ... try to do a hard reset ... if that doesn't work you will need to go to att
i have the phone set up exactly how i want right now so i was hoping i could repair the imei and then do a nandroid backup or something
anyone know where the imei's stored on the lg phones? i read its in lgdrm somewhere but all i see are .cer files which i can't read or make sense of with notepad, a hex editor, or sqlite 3... :?
if i can figure this out soon i'll try factory reset and if taht doesnt work then i'll try to get it replaced by att.
OK first off i know cloning is illegal NOT doing that!!!! ok now that i got that out the way!

The evo shift is a little bit harder to scan for readable memory addresses. I did it by starting with a memory address block and expanding in the upper region and lower regions until it reboots. The reboot is when you scan an unreadable portion of the memory. There are three readable blocks of memory address on the shift and it varies a little bit with each shift. Its best if you do the trial and error scanning until you have the three blocks written down then look for the esn and meid to zero out to reimput the meid that is printed on the back of the phone back into the phone to fix it.

@ lilgrass what prog should I be using to scan for this and do you know of any links for a totorial of a similar situation? I understand I have to scan the mem but I'm kinda new at it and don't wana mess anything up. Any help would be greatly appreciated ty!
Qpst to scan memory addresses and output it to use a hex editor to find the exact memory addresses for the meid and esn... there's between 14 and 20 meid addresses and 10 to 14 esn depending on what the phone is doing at any given time. Best to put it on airplane mode first. Then use qxdm to navigate to the addresses. It takes about a day to do on the shift because of the reboots. All of the tutorials have been taken down on other websites so I can't point u in the right direction link wise sorry

Ok. So I am flashing a friends Samsung D600 Conquer to Straight talk and used android-whiterabbit to generate his [email protected] cdma workshop 2.7 version txt file that automatically writes the nv items. Now the device has no signal but everything else works, just says mobile network not available. Can someone post these 12 nv items so that I may restore them to thier defaults. Pleass exclude sensitive files that contain your phone number and/or meid info. I really just need the ones that are needed to re-enable the radio. Thanks guys. The NV Items are unlocked. The ones that were written are 0318, 0465, 0579, 0910, 1194, 2825, 2953. I have narrowed it down to the problem nv items because only 7 were written sucessfully. Thanks again.
I'm hoping that someone on here can help me please. I'm trying to figure out if data or even the metadata that an app would collect(time records, to be exact) is able to retrieved from system files or not. The app is called Exaktime and it is a time recording app that I used for a previous job that I'm currently involved in a wage dispute with. It tracked our time and GPS location however on the phones side the app wouldn't display the recorded data after two weeks. It gets sent to the employer who unfortunately has the ability to modify at will those times. I was able to find a file by going to: Internal>Android>Data>com.exaktime.com but I have no idea what language/file format it's in to be able to read it. I've tried opening it with various script editors with no luck. I'm unsure if it's the stored data or if it's just the script for the app itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using an unrooted Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on Oreo 8.0 from T-Mobile. If I root it with Samfail would I be able to have more access to that data or not? Thanks.
