i understand man i was really fedup of this issue ! i even contacted other devs ! no1 helps in these cases ! but anyways try it i'm 99% sure it'll work on all Gingerbread versions p.s. click submit thread as news tip to notify others !

i still hate kpq ! i dono why ppl are still using it as base ! ddkp3 is giving me 1 day + battery life at same usage ! (on kpq i get 18 hours approx) try kp3 u wont b disappointed !

wooooow....I just tried it. I thought that this mod will do some minor changes but when flashed it literally I couldnt belived it. Video becomes very clear & with sufficient light. Wow man...I just salute u You are simply superb.

Gingerbread Sense based on the Saga Rom.

So the basic changes from Spike's saga rom is the theme and the rotating i guess ...
If u want to make for us a battery%, but until then ill try % which i have from Spike's rom....

So, im testing the rom now...Good work like all desireS port here...Fast,smooth and everything seems to working...wifi,data,gps,dolby etc are fine...The fonts are a little bit smallers for my taste, but its ok...No any ''strange'' apps,only usualls...As i said before the differences from Spike's rom are the fonts and the rotating...
Everyone want battery% and glow effect can use the below attachment.Its working fine...

Edit: The issue with small fonts is basically in keyboard which some symbols like ( : ) ( , ) ( ; ) etc not seems...

I love it bro! It's constantly keeping my ram above 180, even when it dips to 150 during use, once I turn the screen off it goes to work freeing up ram back to 200. Phone is fast and snappy with no lag whatsoever. Nice job bro and I will be flashing it on every sense 4 rom

RAM- yes! DesireS free memory is around 160MB, earlier I used to get ~110MB.
And I do confirm that it feels faster though.
Flashed zip, not manual process
On Sensation, I've upgraded to the new base, will check how it fares with it..

ok good, very good, and thanks for the feedback, this exactly how should it works, on sense 3.6 it seems not so impressive anyway, I'll make more test...
I'm currently testing a new way to "massage" the apk and jars LOL this stuff comes from baadnewz and it has been suggested me from @wilkii on of my SmartDroid team member, so basically the hack remove the debugging info from every single jar and apk, this should increase the speed a lot..let's see..

well, the problem is services.jar, since the new base is just a very small update it means that services.jar code doesn't changed too much or at all, that's why it works, good for us ehehe
will try it now...
i used to edit build.prop & whole init.d folder with old GB & Zep's mods in the every rom i flash.
but didn't knew minfree limit in ICS until pacha showed up with his init.qcom.post_boot.sh files..
i guess minfrees in my signature r way too aggressive for Sense 4... but they were best till Sense 3.5 with GB..
anyway thanks for the mod..
P.S u could also suggest people to use lag nullifier from zep's thread... that works..

In your tutorial, the build.prop hack in 1) does not work on ICS because all memory values and other crap got moved out of ramdisk and into services.jar for ICS whereas in GB they where in ramdisk so the build.prop hack worked on GB but not ICS

Instructions for install and backup.
1. Download my camera app and save it to your sdcard.
2. With root explorer go to system/app and copy your camera app and save it to your sdcard.
3. Reboot recovery and flash my mod.
4. Reboot and see it in action for yourself.
To re install your old camera app.
1. GO to where the old camera app is saved to your memory card and simply re install it as any other app. (No need to push it to system/app as it will install okay)

Thanks i never expected such a nice welcome no people who said it uses new chip are mistaken. Our hardware is more than capable. This camera is ONLY for viper ss at the mo. I will do suggestions tho. Pm me wat rom ur on and ill make it work on your rom.
And the option of taking a photo when recording is also able to work on our sensations hardware. It works but when recording if do a photo the recording goes black or stops but atleast it saves fine. And thanks for submitting to portal. Very good. Thanks and ill have this done in no time as i love these features as had them on my one v

EDIT:btw im not a rom developer ..not yet .though ..i am a humble helper ..and kind of tester ..also it should mostly work on other sense 4 roms ..as they are having the same base ..so i dont think it will cause any problem to the other sense 4 roms

BTW, i'm not a viper rom user now and i use DarkForest Sense 4 Beta 5.1 rom which i must say is the fastest Sense4 ROM i've used till now.
It has some bugs though and i'll be very greatful if you make a patch for this ROM as well..

N.p i will dwnload aand install that rom now and get it working for you mate it will be on 1st post soon mate
i am using viper ics rom with sense 4 .. i tried to take shots in burst mode but it hanged and shutter sound was not stopping .. :S dunno.. then i powered off mobile (not restarted) and and again powered on.. but now camera is black.. :S
also Full HD Option is missing..

thats pretty weird ..coz im having no trouble in installing that and im using same ROM...btw i installed it ..not replaced the one in /system/app ..and all is fine here
(may be kernel making difference ? but it should not normally .. im having sebastian kernel )
for now to get back camera working ..reflash the rom ..without doing any wipe ..that will get your normal camera back

Kernel makes no difference. This camera working mate. Try back up old camera and push mine to system/app. Aand reboot. Im using it and have been since yestarday with no issues. Works everytime

Just installed this. As expected, it looks great. Right now its restoring apps from play store. As with cm11 too, this causes such high cpu usage that I just can't use my phone for anything else.
Only problem I have had till now is that after the first boot, when I toggled off data(i don't use it), my wifi stopped working. A reboot solved that. Right now as my apps are being restored, the phone cannot detect my sd card. Once, the restore is complete, I will have a look at it and reboot the phone. Should work properly.
All in all, this looks like a great rom. Will report back after I played around more with this. Nice to see xposed baked right in

And yes this is a "continued" project, the Xperia JB creator mato_d007 gave me permission to update his rom until he found a way to get a new defy. If you see in my signature, other versions of the rom are posted in the original thread.

Well I have been using this rom for almost 6 hours now. Got my first ril bug in2 days. Have changed my baseband, should work fine now.
As usual, there are huge memory leaks which just bog down the system. But I guess thats happening with cm11 too.
Now,
1) Please edit the build.prop in the next version and change "purgeable assets" to "0". Its 1 right now and on our defy that causes lags.
2) Also the animation duration. Its 2x in Dev options, but after I changed it to .5x everything is flying.
3) enabled zipalign and fix emissions in settings. This is what I love about this rom. I don't need 10 other scripts running or to be setup every time. This is far more flexible. :good:
4) Xposed settings just fc's everytime for no reason.
All in all, after making some small changes, the rom is flying. It gives random reboots once in a while but that also happens on cm11 for me.
Its great that you are continuing this. This rom is flying right now. I am going to be using this as my daily driver
Launcher fc's for no reason sometimes, especially when the uninstall option is selected.
Will keep posting here as I keep using it. So far this is the smoothest KK rom on our defy yet. even smoother than slimbean.

Please clarify on the OP or the title that this is an unofficial version not related to my original work, i plan to continue it but people will get really confused now that there is 2 threads with the same title. Zeroemd got my permission to make his own interpretation of Xperia D but we are not working togheter as for now. Nice work btw, im still fixing a broken Defy that i bought recently (microUSB port destroyed) so i cant test it but looks really good.

Yup that works. xposed framework loads now. Although I have no use for it intentionallly as I am trying to keep my ram usage down.
Another thing, we have to wait like 10-15 minutes after booting for the phone to actully function porperly. Or else, it will force reboot due to high cpu usage. Would love to see overcloking present in the next version

hey guys i m using the GLADE rom with TZ 4.14...i am facing some issues....sometimes when i call ,after 2 or 3 min call duration the other person couldnt hear my voice.....i have done the clean installation 3-4 times but problem still exists.....i have also flashed the audio fix after which the phone rear speaker quality is good...pls help...thanks in advance

ya and there are other problems as well like when talking to someone on phone the screen turns on by itself....so there is some sort of error with the proximity sensor....

I try this ROM which is awesome for using faster and gaming but battery draining is fast

Same here. I couldn't get it to work on tz kernel (any version), but the rom with default kernel is fast enough. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me pick which apps to use on a given task (for example videos, it gives me a blank screen when it should let me choose which player i'd like to use). See attachment. ? i guess this is expected since this was a huge update, so i'm looking forward to the next release. Like i said, this rom is even smoother than euphoria, and with rro support. ?
Had to go back to euphoria rom.. Also, Layers Manager app won't let me apply rro themes, at least when it's in .zip format. It takes a long time and tells me that the app force closed...
I don't have access to a pc since i'm away from home atm, so apologies for no screenies nor logs.. If anyone experiences these issues please add logs so dev would be aware. Thank you.

Tested Glade V2 rom and its not working with Tz 4.14 or 4.15. I m using Glade rom v1 with Tz 4.14 and its working fine for me.

Rro app has no problems,, and ur image even I was shocked at first, but everything is there u have to SWIPE UP ? ya this is for others too, I thought of mentioning this since I knew someone would ask but forgot !

Hello,
I have problems with launching this Glade ROM.
I flashed several ROMs before so i got som experience with bricks and bootloops, but i cant figure out whats wrong with this one.
Full wipe , flashed GLADE and after install im stuck on bootloop for 15-20 minutes and nothing happens.

provide link? are you kidding me? the stockkernel is IN the ROM and will be automatical flashed when you flash this rom (as long as you dont override it with another one)
btw stock kernel is the CAF kernel

Yes. That's about it. Clean flash is important, though.
