Yes, it is. I never said it wasn't.

I do not know .iam not a developer on this rom .iam sharing this rom for our moto defy user .i think shortly update the ASOB latest update with this

Oh, aren't you the same guy who made xperia jb version for defy? I use that for a long time.
Just installed this. As expected, it looks great. Right now its restoring apps from play store. As with cm11 too, this causes such high cpu usage that I just can't use my phone for anything else.
Only problem I have had till now is that after the first boot, when I toggled off data(i don't use it), my wifi stopped working. A reboot solved that. Right now as my apps are being restored, the phone cannot detect my sd card. Once, the restore is complete, I will have a look at it and reboot the phone. Should work properly.
All in all, this looks like a great rom. Will report back after I played around more with this. Nice to see xposed baked right in

Will wait for your feedback :victory:.
And yes this is a "continued" project, the Xperia JB creator mato_d007 gave me permission to update his rom until he found a way to get a new defy. If you see in my signature, other versions of the rom are posted in the original thread.
I posted this in a spanish forum and forgot to put it here .

Can I run it on Defy Green Lens?
---
FYI:
My Defy on Illusion 4.2.2 ROM: 35% left of battery and is on for 12d 19g 32m.

@Zeroemd,
Well I have been using this rom for almost 6 hours now. Got my first ril bug in2 days. Have changed my baseband, should work fine now.
As usual, there are huge memory leaks which just bog down the system. But I guess thats happening with cm11 too.
Now,
1) Please edit the build.prop in the next version and change "purgeable assets" to "0". Its 1 right now and on our defy that causes lags.
2) Also the animation duration. Its 2x in Dev options, but after I changed it to .5x everything is flying.
3) enabled zipalign and fix emissions in settings. This is what I love about this rom. I don't need 10 other scripts running or to be setup every time. This is far more flexible. :good:
4) Xposed settings just fc's everytime for no reason.
All in all, after making some small changes, the rom is flying. It gives random reboots once in a while but that also happens on cm11 for me.
Its great that you are continuing this. This rom is flying right now. I am going to be using this as my daily driver
Launcher fc's for no reason sometimes, especially when the uninstall option is selected.
Will keep posting here as I keep using it. So far this is the smoothest KK rom on our defy yet. even smoother than slimbean.

Yes you can, just update the recovery.

Please clarify on the OP or the title that this is an unofficial version not related to my original work, i plan to continue it but people will get really confused now that there is 2 threads with the same title. Zeroemd got my permission to make his own interpretation of Xperia D but we are not working togheter as for now. Nice work btw, im still fixing a broken Defy that i bought recently (microUSB port destroyed) so i cant test it but looks really good.

Yup that works. xposed framework loads now. Although I have no use for it intentionallly as I am trying to keep my ram usage down.
Another thing, we have to wait like 10-15 minutes after booting for the phone to actully function porperly. Or else, it will force reboot due to high cpu usage. Would love to see overcloking present in the next version

[ROM][AOSP][69MB] FoxhoundPlus *MAJOR UPDATE IS COMING!*

I tested almost every rom with every kernel and mods.
Each rom got advantages which I prefered but none of the could please me to 100 percent.
So, one day I thought about making my own first one...
It should definetely Gingerbread based because of the battery drain and the beta state of ICS.
I thought we got enough stock based roms and one CM7-based one.
I wanted to make something NEW.
FoxhoundPlus is the result.
First: the disclamer
Code:
*************************************************************************
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
break ups with your crush because you didn't hear your phone,
or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
Please do some research if you have any concerns about
features included in this ROM and read this whole thread
before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications
and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device,
I will laugh at you.
****************************************************************************
FEATURES:
[br]based on AOSP 2.3.7
[br]slim-rom: under 80mb ram
[br]faster deepsleep
[br]AOSP mazen912 kernel, SkyHigh or Broodkernel
[br]AOSP Launcher
[br]TW4Launcher
[br]Removed Bloatware
[br]FoxEngine
[br]Added FoxBloatware:
Code:
no frill CPU
CPU spy
DSPManager
Adobe FlashPlayer 11.1 (latest)
Note
SDMaid
SuperUser
TaskManager
TWEAKS
[br]rooted
[br]deodexed
[br]zipaligned
[br]changed audio.lib, etc.
[br]I8150 grafic drivers
[br]I/O Enhanced
[br]init.d support
[br]some build.prop tweaks
SPECIAL EXTRA
[br]added MGS-Alarms, Notifications, Tones and UI sounds
[br]modified SystemUI.apk
[br]modified Framework-res.apk
[br]Froyo loading animation (got enogh from the gingerbread one)
[br]custom boot animation Foxhound (thanks to H4MM3R311!)
[br]Android Battery Icon
[br]swipe to remove notifications
[br]transparent drawer background
[br]CRT-On, CRT-Off effects
[br]while screenoff: changing from wifi to data to save battery (can be turned of in wifi->advanced->wifi sleep policy (the second one)
[br]black background because black is the most battery saving color (you can change that)
and a lot more which I already forgot...
KERNEL
FoxhoundPlus is AOSP based-> YOU CANNOT FLASH STOCK BASED KERNEL!
If you flash a stock based one you will risk BRICKING your rom!
This rom comes with 2 different kernel:
[br]mazen912 AOSP kernel (stock): ~no UV/OC support
-no custom boot sound
[br]SkyHigh AOSP build by Skywalker01: +UV/OC support up to 1804mhz
+custom boot sound support
-hardly working vibration
-no headset working
[br]SkyHigh non OC (didn't test it yet)
[br]Broodkernel AOSP by Broodplank1337: +UV/OC support up to 1804mhz
+custom boot sound support
-hardly working vibration
-no headset working
[br]They did a great work thank you for this!!!
[br]I would recommend using mazen912 AOSP kernel, you will reach about 50-100 more points in antutu.
INSTALLATION
Download the file/s to your SD memory card
Reboot in recovery mode (I would recommend CWM/CWM Touch or TWRP)
Wipe EVERYTHING (System, Cache, Dalvik)
Install those zip's you like.
Read the log.
Reboot and enjoy!
If you come from FoxhoundPlus itself, there is no need to wipe system (you can do this with every AOSP rom, unluckily there is only FoxhoundPlus)

Well. Maybe you should pm arco and ask how he fixed the in call volume on cm9.
I like your rom so far. Two questions:
1: Can i change widgets in the notification drawer? (Its been a long time since i used cm7 and i dunno if that is possible)
2: why dont i get a lockscreen? When i press the power button, the screen goes off. Press power again and he directly goes to where i was. No lockscreen. Even when i set pattern.
Once again, really nice work on the framework en systemui! Keep up the good work!

Very good rom is my first impression. In call volume it is one problem which must be fixed. I will continue the testing because this special rom needs more testing. I will report if more problems.

Is the usb debug notification and bug off cm7? It wont go away and i thoughed there was a solution for that... not sure tough
Btw. Just installed dead space and mass effect and no lag at all!
Also. When everything is closed, only 80 mb ram is used for the.system app! Great!

Lockscreen worked after reboot, as you say it would.
All the songs are mp3 format. So it isnt related to that.
And i thoughed it was app related to, so i flashed some zip wich i had there for a while. The sou.d complication thing? You know. For better sound. It comes with another music player. But same problem

I just wanted to let you all know I am in the process of doing a major overhaul on this help thread. It is VERY OUTDATED.
I am very sorry for this, but real life took over for a while ..... I am still quite busy working 6 days a week, so it might take
a while ... if anyone is able to help out and you know a good amount of info on at least installing and helping new guys with
some simple questions, please let me know. Basically We will be fielding questions and help for:
[CROMi-X 5.2.x]
[CROMi-X 5.2.x][ROM2SD]
[CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.7.x]
[CROMi-X-MiNi 1.3.x]

Anyways .... Thanks for your patients and in the mean time if you get no answers here, then please seek your
answers in the developer OP for your ROM. (The above ROMS are linked to their respectful Developer OP)

A LITTLE BACKGROUND
CleanROM Inheritance ..also known as CROMI.. is a stock based ROM designed from scratch from the ASUS Stock 10.4.4.23 Jelly Bean 4.1.1 WW release and updated to latest bootloader as needed. CROMI has its roots in the original CleanROM by Scrosler. Scrosler started the project and the 2.x series was largely based off his work with Sbdags' tweaks added. Starting with the 3.x series Sbdags took over the project and renamed it CleanROM Inheritance. He completely rebuilt it from a new Asus base by hand from the ground up. Extracting the rom and kernel, deblobbing, decompiling each and every apk to make it deodex ready, recompiling and rebuilding all the tweaks by hand and then testing and adding updated apks, etc. It has been all UPHILL From There !!!
Sbdags has taken this somewhat small project and turned it into a monster of a ROM ( in a good way ) The original idea was to base this ROM off the Asus stock one and keep it as close to stock as possible whilst also adding many new features and fixing a ton of code that Asus had screwed up AND keep it small in size. Sbdags has done this and more. Plus he updates like a madman. If there is any little issue with a release, you can bet he will have a fix for it within 24 hours. I do not think Sbdags is 100% human ... I also believe he never sleeps. ... Now that we have this awesome ROM ( in both a DEODEXED & ODEXED version ) and most of us are seeing Quadrant scores well over 7000, what could possibly be next ?? ...... Just wait and see what he has planned

WELCOME TO SBDAGS OFFICIAL CLEANROM INHERITANCE GUIDE / HELP / Q&A THREAD
This is the place where we ease the burden on sbdags and utilize open source for its intended purpose ... to help one another for FREE !!
Please ask your questions regarding ROM issues here. If we can not figure it out, they will be forwarded to the master.
While this is an open thread there are a few rules:
If you're NEW - Stop what you are doing and go thank Sbdags ..... He has done more for our device then anyone could ever of imagined !!
READ!!!!! and when you think you've read enough .... READ it again.
No complaining about tweaks the DEV built into the ROM. More than likely it is just eye candy which is easily removed. Personally, most enjoy the eye candy and is what separates DEVs from each other.
Remember, they do this for us for free and could easily dev their rom as they like it and share it with no one. If you do not like something, o.k. i'll say it i.e. flames, just read up on how to change it.
Do not mention how much you love some other rom and are going back .... just go back. At this point we already know you must work for ASUS .
For specific issue's regarding this thread or you have found an error in some step or if you found something we should add or replace in the OP or if you just find something that has helped and want to
say thank you, please submit via xda PM to myself THiBOR69 or THATSOK so we can keep the thread clean and reader friendly.
If you like certain themes, apps, apps that created an issue, etc. you can post here with screen shots. Let's open it up a bit but please stay on task.
No question is a stupid question. Please feel free to ask anything relating to the ROM. A silly question to one person, might be a very important question for a newer user. For those here that are more familiar with ROMs and development, please show patience with new users"
Here we go..................
XDA member 'Thats OK' gets full credit for this awesome guide !!
For those wanting to move their Infinity to a whole new world here's how to.
Create a folder on your Windows PC and place in an easy to find location.
Place all downloads from this guide into that folder organized by your preference.
Flashing a custom ROM for some of us can be a bit intimidating so here are a couple ways to get there:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In order to flash your Infinity from the stock ROM to a custom version it is necessary to unlock the tablet.
There is currently no way around this.
Get the ASUS Unlock tool
The Asus website can be little slow.
Select Android OS then utilities and the V7 unlock tool is first on the drop down.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Verify debug is selected enter settings\select\Developer options\tick\USB debugging\then close settings.
Connect your tablet to a windows desktop PC using the tablets charging cable to an available USB port on your Windows PC.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once unlock is accomplished recovery utility can be used to install the custom recovery on the Infinity.
(I did this recently to flash TWRP 2.3.3.0 to my tab) Details are here
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If not rooted in Jellybean ADB\Fastboot (click here to get it) must be used to push a recovery installation.
(To open a command window shift+right mouse click inside the fastboot folder)
(Fastboot on tablet to get here shut down-press hold volume down plus power button-then volume down twice-then volume +)
**Remember to connect thru USB
ADB\Fastboot Guide
Download either CWM download image file here or TWRP (click here to get the blob file)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To flash TWRP:
Save it to the root of your /sdcard directly (internal memory only) and rename it to twrp.blob
Launch terminal emulator (from within Android) or connect to your computer and open an adb shell, then type the following:
Su
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.blob of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
Then reboot to complete installation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the Custom Recovery install of your choice has finished the ROM flash will be quite easy.
Shut your Infinity down (off condition.)
Next press the volume down rocker button and hold while pressing the power button (both at the same time.)
Release power button while continuing to hold volume down.
Your tablet should boot into the custom recovery screen.
The CWM and TWRP screens are pretty self explanatory.
From here it's a matter of downloading CROMi or your choice of another fine ROM.
Saving the downloaded file to the root of your tablet (just for simplicity.)
Booting back to the recovery screen:
Use back-up within recovery
Tapping the install option...making choices from the installer
Reboot to system
...and Voila Profit!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Remember you must be on the JellyBean bootloader for CROMi 3.xx
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Useful utilities:
Android SDK-Windows
SDK-MacOS
SuperSU by Chainfire
MD5 Checker
RootChecker
Goomanager
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following video was created by XDA member SAUGSTAUBER.
It is a slightly different way to get the same results as written above.
This will work for CROMI 3.x also, just don't forget
you must be on the JellyBean bootloader for CROMi 3.xx
Video credit goes to: SAUGSTAUBER
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully this guide will provide enough info to get the new user started.
If any of it is too confusing, incorrect or if there are any helpful shortcuts or tips, please PM the OP with the appropriate changes.
We will be happy to add or change. This is a work in progress for the benefit of everyone.

Also what rom were you on before and did it work on that? Which gameloft games in particular?
If we have a odexed question or stock kernel question do we ask it here or back on the development thread? Or, the questions thread?

Back stab and wild blood don't even show up for me. Are they deemed 'compatible' with the TF700 by Gameloft. I know this is a common problem with Gameloft and EA in general not just this ROM. Did you purchase them on a different device? If so you will need to contact Gameloft directly.

They were purchased through my playstore account and they show up as compatible... But because my dpi is not stock(213 is stock right?) that may be why they show up... Will re flash in the am and see

Official Asus stock value is 160! But the official Asus kernel doesn't allow 160 and boots to 240 so who knows what the play store sees. My rom uses a multi dpi hack play store so doubt changhing dpinwill fix anything. 213 is not the default for sure. It is the default on the nexus 7.
If you search for wild blood it is not found in the play store list. What ROM were you on when you purchased them? Do you not keep tibu backups?

Find any combination you like, scale and project apps, widgets and system components!
PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel (same that allows you to scale apps individually and choose their interface). See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Sry , i don't see :
Code:
Check "Auto Hide" in Settings, System, Statusbar, to finally get Fullscreen
What are the bugs we have on this one? does it still have the same but like on cm10? i am asking that because you didn't mention here about any bugs .

sketch2k278 pretty much the same as CM10 you can flash directly from GB if having issues with booting use berni's x-loader u-boot or wkparks 1.25a. As for the videos I have never really had these problems on CM10 or any variant but I am using wkparks 1.25a x-loader and u-boot.

if im coming from GB how do i install wkparks 1.25a to get to JB??
i did try Dexter_nlb's method for 1.25a but got the power off error

BTW: Could you please make for us a flashable kernel zip of this ROM? I'd appreciate your work!

Which version of WiFiKill are you using? tbh I am not too familiar with it although a bit of digging around suggest that version 1.7 had shutdown problems on some phones. I tried the latest free/trial version of WiFiKill and it seems to work ok.
The kernel is nothing special it's just the same source as the latest CM10 nightly 03/02/13 if you are looking for a kernel best looking at what iodak and Pesach85 are doing.

sketch2k278 try this then using 1.18a
1.Copy ROM to your SDCard
2.Download 1.25a.rar - 5.85 MB
3.Extract contents to /files folder in 1.18a
4.Boot into fastboot
fastboot flash x-loader files\x-loader.img
fastboot flash u-boot files\u-boot.img
fastboot flash recovery files\cwm.img
5.Reboot into recovery
6.Do wipes
7.Flash ROM

Same as above I haven't seen this happen maybe if anyone else has they can report it. Try wiping dalvik and fix permissions. You can use iodaks CM10 kernel, I haven't tested Pesach85's kernel.

-wipe data & cache & dalvik
-wipe /system (Go to mounts and storage> format /system> select yes)
-go back to main menu
-select "install from sd card"
-Browse to the ROM file and install it
-choose your options (systemUI and memory mount options)
-after installing the ROM install HFS Update Package

Done!!
Note About "Default SystemUI" for HFS ROM:
Please note that if you choose "Default systemUI" for HFS ROM during ROM installation, you can enjoy a Material-Like UI, But only 1 SIM signal will be shown, Don't worry, both SIMs will work, if you want to switch between SIMs with this systemUI, do the following:
-Go to settings
-Go to "Multi Sim Settings"
-select "Voice/USSD/MMI"
-select "Prompt"
Now you will be prompted to choose which SIM you want whenever you make a call!

I tried to download the ROM files completely, no problems or whatsoever...
try again with the new links posted (updated the links)
if you are using an adblock software, disable it
do you have a problem with 4shared? or you have this problem with this file only?
if you have a problem with 4shared, I can upload the ROM to to another sharing site
wish you the best

You are doing so much, so I can not ask you to bear more load by uploading the file to different sharing site.
Thank you and I will soon post my review for the rom.

Hello bro, I know you are exited about this ROM, I've received some other porting requests (xperia miro also)
Ok, but you must know that I don't have these devices (I have xperia tipo dual only) so I'll need testers for this
I can work on it, but the results are not guaranteed, I will need testers if you are ready for it
it's OK

it's alright bro
I know that making awesome ROMs is both time and resources consuming, some roms may take days, some others may take even months

I think, if you wanna port it to miro, you just need make a change on build.prop and change the kernel
because miro and tipo hardware is almost same.. cmiiw

that's what I was exactly going to do
adding xperia miro stock kernel will lower the chances of getting it hard bricked

Hello, sorry for late reply....
Another superb ROM from you my brother....
I had used the HFS rom. it is really a great rom:good:. I liked the rom. but I found that the ROM was somehow hard on my mobile. mobile was not smooth and it was slow when I swipe the main menu. and one more thing I found is the battery was draining very fast.(without using mobile it drains in 1.5 days, otherwise in SIP it stands more than 2 days)so currently I switch back to the SIP. but really I liked it a lot. currently I bought a new device and it has not good battery backup(max 22 hours without using it), so I need my Tipo with max battery backup.
Thanks....
Welcome bro

This ROM was just a port from the original HFS ROM for Xperia tipo
Unfortunately, the lollipop UI seems to require more resources to make it run smoothly, try installing tweaks and a better kernel, because this ROM is mainly about Good theme.
and thank you for using my ROM!!
wish you the best
Will this work for Tipo Single Sim?

Ok. Installing after my backup finishes. I'll let you know in 24 hrs how it's looking.
Here's my update after 1 full day of use. At first it started acting funky but after settling in, it's running pretty damn good. Everything seems to work fine. No apps crashing and experiencing no lag. I'm using the latest stable Lamda Kernel where my battery life is superb.
Update: One bug I'm finding. I can't get weather provider services to work even though I have two weather apps installed.

I will wait for XOSP to push out an update, and if it still there I shall investigate. Also, go on the main XOSP thread for LG G2 Android development to post replies, as I have now released the build to the public
Thanks
Tried it on my D801 and as soon as it loaded majority of the Xperia apps including Xperia home crashed. Not sure if I missed anything . . . . . Any suggestions
