Hi!
Ive started a new website to host roms for developer's and currently i've got enough space to host also roms for HTC!
So if you need a place to host or mirror your files let me know. I'll create an ftp acount for you and youll have acces to a folder which is named after the name of your ROM. You'll have full controll inside that folder.
Thank you!

Not sure which device you are using, but here are a few options:
- Connect the device via USB and ActiveSync and copy the .EXE to your workstation
- Use File Explorer (or TotalCommander) to copy the .EXE to the SD Card of your device (if you have that capability). You will need to Show All Files if you use File Explorer.
- Go to the Raphael Forum ROM Dev section and locate the OEM Repository thread. There's a link in that thread to the OEM 4Shared repository where you will find a Media Player package.
HTH,
Hi,
I've created an application that help people to share their files over WIFI using HTTP or FTP. It's also a powerful file manager and SMB client, by installing one plugin, it also can mount SMB drive to your phone on rooted phones with custom firmware.
It's also an advanced app manager, it can list all your installed applications, you can backup them, uninstall them, support batch operation.
File Expert is open source software based on GPL v3.
Could you please give it a try and let me know your opinions or suggestions? Any questions are welcome.
File Expert is already on the Google Market to download for free. There's a donation dialog appears when you first run this app. No Ads.
BTW:
If you only need to browse SMB folder and copy files between phone and PC, there's no need to install that SMB plugin.
Seems really nice thanks.
Does support multilanguage and localization?
I can translate it to greek.
sw33t! it mounts SMB drives!
Most excellent

Problem mount smb with FileExpert
Hi
Are there any instructions for how to get the SMB mount to work with winxp? I've downloaded the plugin for smb mount in file expert, but can't get winxp to see the mounted drive for my Galaxy S.
My phone is rooted and the smb works from phone to laptop, i.e. I can see my shared folders from my laptop on the phone. However, it doesn't work the other way around.
I can't get my windows network to find the phone - I've tried:
\\192.168.1.202\mnt\sdcard
for the address, but it says share folder not found. I can ping the phone no problem from my laptop, so the IP address is ok. It must be the path to the folders which isn't right. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Many thanks
Steve
Can anyone post a copy of these GPL v3 licensed sources somewhere please ? (Last version before the license change or any version (as long as legally distributed under gplv3).

If obtained, source should be re-published on google code etc (I am interested as well!). There is really a need for a good opensource file manager. It's a pity that file expert did not continue that way.
Hi. I hope I'm posting this in the right section, but how would I install apps on my T-Mo MyTouch 3G Slide, that are offered on this or any other forum? Do I download them to my PC and first start the installation there, somehow? Or how would I do it??
I'm very new to this whole Android world. I just bought my phone.
Thanx for the help!!
Applications in this forum usually comes in the form of .apk's. An apk is an installer file for Android and must be run from the phone.
So you have two options when you find programs here on this forum:
1. You download the file on your PC, connect the phone to your PC and mount the SD-card, copy the file over and run it from your phone
2. Browse to the forums via your phone and download them directly and run them
It can be done via dropbox, chrome2phone, email etc as well if you want to

THANK YOU!!!!
The file that I download, copy in to any folder (Programs ect...) on to your SD card and run the file from the phone, correct? What is the format of that file needs to be? It won't be an *.exe right? What format do I make sure the correct file is? Is there any other ways? Just asking
Thank You!!
You can put it anywhere on the SD-card, just be sure you have some sort of file manager from the market and remember where you put it After that you just run it and it should install (if you get several options when you run the file, the correct one to run it with is "Package Installer").
The files will be in the format programname.apk

One of the best tools I have found for flashing ROMs/MODs to my phone is Dropbox.
I can download the latest release from my home PC, save it to my dropbox account, and get it quickly when I get to work!
If anyone is looking for 2GB of free online storage that you can access from any OS (computer or phone) sign up for Dropbox: http://db.tt/DhSdics
...is this just an excuse to post your DB referral link?
Maybe 2GB is not enough for him?
To the author - have you read newest rules of dropbox? If not, do it. DB can take your work and modify it to they needs.
There are two ways I flash and your method is my second choice because it has two extra steps.
1.) Read it Later or Chrome-to-Phone to send the desktop link to phone for a direct download. Root Explorer to move the files where needed. Flash.
2.) Download on desktop. Upload to Dropbox. Download on phone. Root Explorer to move the files where needed. Flash.
Yeah I know alot of roms that only use Dropbox to flash... I dunno I really don't like using programs like Rom Manager and Dropbox to flash.. I run into errors. I use my Dream_RA Recovery to flash. The worst part is that Clockwork doesn't work on HTC Dream 32a's. I've also experience problems with Dropbox. My final verdict... I don't think Dropbox is that amazing..
Hi everyone!
I want to ask, if someone from the owners of HTC One m8 for Windows could upload files from C:/DPP ( maybe by copying them to SD card), pack it with WinRAR or other program and send it to me. I need this for my development work Here is how to acces C: drive. forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile-insider-preview/358307-access-c-root-windows-10-mobile-file-explorer.html
