Try another charger and/or cable if possible... V6 shouldn't mess with the charging, but anything is possible.
Try turning it off and leave it for a while to see if its charging.

yeah but its been reported that it only works for some, not all...so if you take a chance and drain you battery it might not start up( u can charge the batt in various ways). mine charged when i was off so no issue there..
So my phone doesn't want to charge when it drops down past like 40% and when I try to charge it when it completely drains it just turns on instead. The only way I get a charge is when I take the battery out and let it sit for a bit but now that's not working, I'm going to try and leave it for a couple of hours and then try but this is really annoying and I have tried a new battery and no difference, phone simply doesn't want to charge
Has this happened to anyone before?

tried many chargers lol its very strange like my phone is off and as soon as I plug in the cable the phone turns on, but doesn't charge...
Hello, try to load it via USB, or a phone reset (factory setting), there must be a program kidding.
If your phone is flashing, the places of origin, and try again.
Have you touched the wipe of your battery ?

What ROM ru using? And what kernel is it using?
Does it have a fast charge option?
Either way, flash back to a GB rom that was stable for u and charge while off. Then turn it on to recovery and from there wipe battery stats.
U should be good.
There's more but first see if this solves the issue

Try cleaning the USB port and or replacing the battery.

I'm quite new to Rooting and XDA etc. please ignore my ridiculous username...
Anyway, I yesterday installed my first custom ROM on my Nexus 5, called Unitato, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2589446
and everything went well untill all of the sudden while watching a movie on it, my phone turned off, and I didn't manage to power it on again. I then connected it to my computer, and were able to boot in recovery. The battery howerver doesn't load anymore: it stays at 1% when I check battery settings, it says '0s on battery". so whenever I try to plug my phone out of the charger, it just turns off.
I really hope my battery is not broken, and someone can help me

Yes it does, but the percentage sticks at 0%

Then do what jd said, keep it on the charger for at least an hour. By then, the percentage should go up.

Any more context other than a screenshot?
-first time it happened?
-have you cleared cache from w.e app you are using?
-are you sure you are not at 100% (any other battery app/mods in use?)?
-using original charger/cable combo?

-system info

- It happens every time I charge
- I wipe the cache, but it still happens.
- Can be fully charged 100% if charging through 87% already.
- I use original charger

I don't really understand. That screenshot shows you are charging rapidly at 93%.

Dash charge stopped working during 84-86%. I have to remove and plug the device many times.
May be the cable, happened to my when dash charge works 1 time / 10 and after wiggling even if the cable was in perfect conditions, i bought a new one a'd now it works, try another cable from a friend if you have before you buy a new one
Above 80% charging, usually the charger is slowimg down by the Ampere..
But the lighting icon is still there as the sign of the dash charge

I have 3 dash charge set, but this problem still occurs.

No dash charge notification LED.
Its normal. The phone stops fast charging around 81% to prevent harm.

Dash charge stops every time, charging about 84-86%. Screen showing lightning icon But charging further, the battery does not increase The blue charging indicator also disappeared.
# I have to take off and plug the charger to 87%.
It will charge 100% of the battery.
Hello guys, it's second day im having problems with fast charging.. First time it charged "turbo fast" second time didn't appear the "turbo fast" logo,i tried whatever i could found on internet to see if i can fix the issue but nothing..Third time it charged with turbo fast and now again it doesn't work...
Anyone have Idea what reason can be?
Are u using the phone while charging ? It might stop using fast charge if the temp were going too high.

You think so may be problem of temperature?
I never use it during charge, but do you think even some degrees could cause it?
Its strange because i cant found the reason when it's deciding to disable turbo charge..
