Anyone else now having the same problem?

[Q] Issue with email program.

I have an issue where my Transformers email program deletes read emails. This happens if I open an email and then if I download newer messages the read email will be gone. I understand that the old emails from the bottom of the list will disappear when downloading fresh email but surely not fresh read mail that were downloaded an hour or so ago.
I understand that in the incoming server settings you can set it so you delete emails from the mail server as well as the Transformer but this is a seperate issue.
Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to fix? Are there any other alternative mail programs I can use?
Neil
I reckon you have a setting incorrect somewhere as mine dont delete themselves, and ive got 5 email accounts running through it. None are getting deleted.
An alternative app for you might be K9Mail, available free from the market.

Hi Neil,
Can you gives a little bit more info? What is the email account? Is it IMAP or POP3?
What do you mean "deleted"? Have you checked with another means on the server to confirm? Or is it that you can't see them on the transformer email client?
rio
The email account is pop3. When I say deleted I mean from the transformer, I read an email then go back to inbox and download new email then the email I have just read will have disappeared.
Tomorrow I will try this same mail account as IMAP and see how that works.
I don't think the messages are being deleted from the server, again I will check this tomorrow when I return home from work.
Neil
Ok it seems as though the transformer didn't like my POP3 account, changed to IMAP and it seems fine after a quick test.

Exhange html lost after OTA to 2.3.4

Hi,
After applying the OTA update to V2.3.4 the HTC mail application has lost the ability to show html email with an exchange account. The option to select mail format is greyed out on "Plain text". Does anybody else have this issue and a possible solution?
Thanks!

[Q] html email issues?

Using cyanogenmod 9 stable on a doubleshot. I recently noticed that some of my html emails are being converted to text. I am using ActiveSync with Exchange 2010.
It only happens when I "create" a new message. When I "forward" an html message, no unwanted conversion happens.
Is there any setting I can use to correct this?
