is still advantageous use hspa instead "only 3g" with a 3g plan with capped 30KB/s download/upload limit?

Which of these gives best reception or signal? Which one is the fastest?

GSM and WCDMA seems to be mostly worldwide supported.
Now my question is which one should I use?
I think WCDMA is the best, but does my I9023 support it?
Information:
Country: Belgium
Travel a lot: No
Carrier: Proximus
Mobile phone: I9023
actually , this is not your option , it's about your operator.
NS support WCDMA and GSM , NS 4g support WiMAX.
about speed , i supposed you talking about data connection , because phone call and SMS don't requier speed ...
GSM (GPRS,EDGE) maxim speed is only 64 kbps, 384 kbps.
and 3G, WCDMA , like UTMS, HSDPA etc, up to 384 kbps, max 14.4 mbps
about signal is depending on your area .
if you are only 1 meter away for cell tower... it doesn't matter
personal idea , GSM usually have stronger signal and better building penetration then WCDMA. but it's slower.
when i am in my room , GRPS has about -80 dbm and if i switch to UTMS , it only has -99 dbm...
It all depends on your telephone operator, but also the best option is GSM car. for a better usage of the service...
I'm currently trying to use straight talk on my SU-760 in the united states. The compatable frequencies for straight talk are 850mhz and 1900mhz on the t-mobile network. They offer 3G and 4G but I only get GPRS data speeds.
Is this because my phone only has 900/1800/1900/2100?
What service providers can I use in the united states that will give me 3G data?
I'm in Dominican Republic right now but my Skyrocket not receive a HSPA+ speed internet because the HSPA+ frecuencys in this country is in 900Mhz. Can i do something to change the frequencys band in my skyrocket to get HSPA+ in 900Mhz?
Thanks!!
It only gets 2g on 900mhz
Sent from my Nexus 5
While specs says: HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, I get about 6mbps DL and 0.3mbps UL in speedtest app.
What's your speed, is there a way to tweak build.prop to get better speed?

High speed mentioned in phone spec is the high speed phone can handle. But your service provider has another maximum speed limit. You can know it by contacting your service provider. I think your service provider has a slower maximum limit.
Have to swap my SM-G930T for a SM-G930P (Sprint).
Using it on Yoigo in Spain, which uses B3 for LTE, B1 for UTMS, and 1800 (DCS) for 3G.
Looks like the Sprint version does NOT support LTE Band 3, so I will only have 3G (HSPA+, right?)
So Am I going to get much slower speeds with 3G? And is there a way to enable Band 3 on the Sprint version?

Bump? Anyone?
That depends on your wireless service provider if he has limited your bandwidth. With 3G + (H +) are up to 42Mbit downstream and 5 Mbps upload speed possible. Whether the Band 3 can be unlocked is hard to say if it is supported by the hardware probably

But 4G is theoretically faster right? Especially upload

With LTE (4G) go down speeds up to 225 Mbit and 50Mbit up if your carrier supports and provides your contract no limit bandwidth
