If you are talking of the ROMS built on AOSP (Like MIUI, CM7,etc) then, You cant.
If you are talking of C-Roms which people make by extracting, copying files, and re-packing..You CAN!
Apps usually work.
And, You need to port themes by decompiling the respective .apk, replacing the files and placing them back

Wait.
IDK about darkkyy's ROM.
Unless it is NOT built on AOSP then, Why not!
It may be ported.
But, Idk if the developers of the ROM wil permit us to do so

Take the Camera.apk out of the .zip.
Then run:
adb remount
adb push Camera.apk /system/app/
adb reboot

Should be able to - it's compatible with Infused v2 and Hellraiser ROMs, and I'm fairly certain that Mikey "pre-integrated" Hellraiser for us to create this ROM.
Worst case if it doesn't work, you can heimdall/odin the kernel from Mikey's zip.
Is it possible to get a mirror? I have no luck with File Sonic

Where I can find that live wallpaper?
It's shown in this video, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRtVxUoHoEI
It would be VERY great to having it on my Sensation.
Thanks in advance.
My best guess would be u have to dl ICS system dump, find the wallpaper, port it so it can run on GB and there u have it!

Try it and if it doesn't work try pushing all the ones to do with live wallpapers

I've looked into doing it, but considering I have no idea how to recompile an apk and such I didn't get very far. From what I learned you have to change a line of coding in the manifest.xml file from ICS 4.0 to GB 2.3. I'm sure someone who has the knowledge can accomplish this.

you could at least link to where you found it.
We all know theres the beta ROM of ICS on the web for the 2011 Xperia range, but you need a Phone with a unlocked bootloader, but im thinking, could someone pull out the apps (browser, music, widgets, launcher etc) & theme files (systemUI, framework-res etc) not affecting the actual base of the system but how it looks & feels & put it in a ZIP FILE for use through ClockworkMod Recovery on locked bootloaders... I know theres ICS themes & stuff but their just stock apps with different colours (blue & black) & different icons....
If its any help I found this in the Development section - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1431608
I really like the Xperia Play forums, but most of us are limited as we have bootloaders that cant be unlocked :/

They still would need dependencies that GB doesn't have, and they'd still require a higher SDK build than GB has. You or someone knowledgeable can try to strip off the ICS dependencies and rebuild the APK to make it compatible with a lower SDK number. That would be one hell of a lot of work, which would only make sense if there was really no way to get ICS in our device, but fortunately it's not our case.

I'll assume you're asking for the device in your signature. You could try these - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801536 and/or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778077. Search for others if you wish .
While CM is pretty awesome, you might want to check out MIUI if you are into an iOS-esque look. You can also see AOKP, and of course various variations of CM such as Paranoid Android & ROM's by devs based on them.

Hmm. I see so that's the story. Well, people here are too impatient. Its not like other ROMs can make their phone 2x as cool and fast as stock. Hell, I actually prefer stock. The only difference I see is Theme Chooser (Except ParanoidAndroid's total UI Customization and different modes). which by the way is already available for non-CM/AOKP ROMs. The only reason I want to get CM for this phone is for hopes that even when Sammy abandons this phone, we'd still be able to run a recent version of android. 4.2.2 is no big deal for me, its still jellybean for chrissakes. I'd tear the world apart if we were still on GB and KLP or whatever 5.X will be called is already out.
I guess its best to wait. We waited a pretty long time for jelly bean but why replace something that's not broken? Still is just software, I doubt those ROMs can satisfy me.
.end mOpinion
Sadly, there's no one left, OsamaGhareeb knows programming (he can help with the sources) but he's MIA here on Ace II section. Then there's hafizduddin, who builds the kernels. Aaaaand there's OldDroid who said he'd be getting an Ace II and build something for it but he's MIA now too (i think he's active but I don't think he'd get this phone IMO)
So, that said, anyone else here who knows programing/Linux operation?
