Hey everyone, made a Motorola Milestone ROM, and I'm just doing the final test before upload. It's a full stock Gingerbread rom, it even has no Google Apps (It does have the market so you can install them though). So, stay tuned, it should be up within the hour!!!

UPLOADED
Hey everyone.
So, here it is.
You need root access (no freakin duhh!) and you should have Open Recovery as your recovery.
Do a NANDroid backup (always!)
Then just wipe and flash!
P.S. extra goodie-the boot animation is taken straight from the DROID X!
Enjoy!!

So on your thread title, shouldn't it say something like: "CM7 mod" or "Stripped CM7" or "Naked CM7" or basically, anything that refers to CM7 being your base ROM? As oppose to most of our expectations which is AOSP.

@OP please take the time to familiarise yourself with the conventions on XDA Developers. You are not exactly inspiring people with confidence in your abilities. I would suggest you stop releasing everything, and start testing them yourself, until you get a working ROM. Then work on describing it accurately and correctly. Cyanogenmod based ROMs should be credited and named as such.
Users put a lot of trust in those whose ROMs they flash, and it does not seem a good idea to leave this open at this point. Be careful what you flash.
Energy Rom V1.0
Disclaimer: I am not in any way, shape or form at fault if your device gets bricked by not following basic procedures during flashing any custom ROM’s.
Please follow the steps below for flashing Energy Rom.
1. Boot into Red CWM Recovery using the 3 button sequence
2. Flash the Rom
3. Perform factory reset after initial ROM flashing
4. Reboot the phone
*** Please note the original developer for the base ROM can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1381262
I worked on this project on my own. I used the original base ROM as my initial developing point. I could not have done it without the help of Big Fau, and of course dmans sms call logs fix. One additional thanks goes to NRGZ wallpaper being used plus additional graphic, you were one of the reasons why I had my windows mobile device so long. Thanks. Please be informed that this ROM development project will not end here or put it as on hold. I have other stuff that I’m working on including IOS App development since getting my Iphone 4s.
Thank you for keeping the infuse community going with different ROM being created by current and new developers. On this note, I leave by saying - I hope I became a newly recognized ROM developer for you guys here on XDA.
Enjoy the ROM that I created.

Time For Some Screenshots Guys..
Very much settings, more than PAC and seems to have all cm10.1 bugs. Successfully flashed cm 10.1 swap file. Theming is only done because of my cm theme. But this rom seems to be a better PAC rom, as i said before in to daily use now and it seems to work flawlessy. Everybody should try this rom and maybe one of our developers can continue the work on it. I am using it with butter kernel 1.2 by Grarak.
Sent from my GT-I9103 using Tapatalk 2
Before, it use pacman's framework & settings for the mix rom thing as his mod rom base since JB 4.1, it was all right actually, but later on at JB 4.2 he erased pacman's commit histories in his forked source and claimed it to be his work, and some of the Pac member reported him for stealing someone else work, that is why he and his work were banned in xda.
I hope he is doing it right this time in his new release somewhere else.

Hey,
I am jumping the gun a bit but I was going to be getting involved in building custom roms for the S5 (once SS is available.) I figure I might as well start now and if we never get SS (I'm sure we will in due time) at least I will have started with getting experience.
I've searched the internet and found some great guides to building custom roms. I am not a total noob but am new to building roms.
I would like if you all could help me out and point me in a good direction on xda or the web for rom building information so I can give it a go!
Also, I would like it if you guys would comment as to what you look for in a custom rom (stock touchwiz of course) so I can begin researching different mods as well!
I know I look for a good theme with themed apks, adblock hosts, bloat removed, call recording mods etc..
Thanks for helping me out!
