So I've been using AirDroid a lot lately and have been noticing that the UI is generally very... bright. So I decided to tone it down a little and customize it to fit a more ICS theme. Not to mention have the long-awaited Picture of our Galaxy Note up top!

I just started the project about an hour ago and plan on re-theming pretty much everthing in there. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
The .apk is attached at the bottom of the post if you want it (You're going to have to uninstall your current version before installing due to different signs), if you download it please leave a thanks and offer some suggestions and ideas!

Yeah I fixed the sending animation and just touched it up to look pretty much how it does right now. There are still a few things missing (like the large image of the Note under the details, as I just haven't gotten around to doing that yet). Didn't look like too many people had any interest in it so I just didn't keep it updated here. If you want a link I'll upload it to Dropbox and paste a link in here for you though

It is attached to the first post now, I decompiled the .apk and located all the files I needed, then Photoshopped and CSS'ed my way through it until it looked the way I wanted. Then just Recompiled and signed it for distribution!
Looks good. I may try my hand at it as well, give it a Holo look. If I get it how I like it then I'll post the apk as well.
Edit: I see you already gave it a semi-Holo look. I did go in and change a few of the icons to the Google icons and I changed the background to the ICS background. I didn't look at one of the icons close enough though and didn't realize it wasn't transparent, so I'll have to fix that. Otherwise, I'm happy now.
The apk has been updated to include the new version released by the AirDroid team a few days ago, check it out! It's much less buggy than the original.

Very nice! Funny, I did almost the same thing. Only thing I changed was the image of the phone to be the SGN. (and the note in my picture is running AOSP ICS) You seemingly went above and beyond though with the theme. Good job

No problem! Happy to share. The new version should auto detect our phones and put the picture in there (after two or three times of using it usually). So their Gingerbread version is just what happens to be what they put

Well look what Mr. WJD himself made today. TweetdDark which is a modded TweetDeck with a new UI look and more black then #000000 Anyways, there is a lot going on here and a lot I modded out. I changed the TweetDeck widgets to be all black and with a slight transparency and with blue notifications to match my Galaxy S theme I am running by Onix it all ties together well. I changed each identifier bar to let you know what social enviroment they commenting with – instead of the full bar you get a little line above so you still keep the darked out look. Several buttons have been changed along with the actual TweetDeck Icon which is featured in the last screen shot. I made this for myself and will not be modifying this for everyone else, but your more then welcome to download it and check it out. Enjoy!

Looks like you haven't been here in a while. I'm interested in the keyboard used here as my main keyboard. Could you zip just the keyboard and could I use it as such? Does the theme have the same keyboard as its main kb? Possible to make it CWM?

I have updated it every single time from start to finish - 2.0 hasn't even came out yet for Android just IOS - Twitter did buy TweetDeck so I can't say when or if things will be updated...

I'm about to try some of them on CM7 after I nand. Probably just Browser, Contacts and Messaging. I think SystemUI is bound to break pretty much everything, but I may try it too.

Nope, apparently not. Then again, I don't think anyone in here is a dev. If a dev took a shot at making some of these compatible, I'm sure we could get at least one or two to install.
I was thinking of giving it a shot, maybe check the min. sdk version required by each app and change things up where necessary...might be a while guys I'm not at home now, later tonight...
edit: sdk,lol, many andr. version, any ways gonna take a look later, downloaded yesterday so its waiting for me!

This is a bit disappointing. I wish this app could do more tasks like Text, Email, etc. Frankly, I dont find this app as useful as Siri. Hopefully it will get better.

did you change your DPI? if its not set to 240 then the market will think your a tablet.

Its a third party app. It cant integrate with system apps unless implemented in a ROM. Thats why you dont have support for alarms, calendars etc

i didnt see it in the market because i was using a rom with a modem that is not official.
just changed the modem name to the latest official in build.prop
and there it is in the market again, along with a few app updates

actually ICS is not a year old yet. It was introduced in October 2011, and the Galaxy Nexus released in November 2011. Also I don't think it looks to good.

I'm sure it's possible but you need a some serious skills if you want to change the complete layout of an app and unfortunately I'm not able to do it. But you could ask a developer if he could develop such app

Thank you! I find that myself, too. The current Facebook-app doesn't match the ICS / JB HOLO theme and isn't that quick either. It really decreases the quality of the user experience.
However, since I don't have any knowledge of building apps whatsoever, I am afraid it'll just remain a concept - unless or until some developer wants to help me, that is.

I love that lock screen, can you please release it? I'm going to use for a bit before making any suggestions.
Update: I'm not using tablet ui or a different dpi so I need to adjust it a bit. I'm also new to ultimate, so I'm wondering, does the location have to be static? Anyhow, I like it a lot especially the wallpaper. And the icons are useful too. I'd really like the lock screen with a little direction.
Yes the Location needs to be static sadly. If you choose to make it the location widget it puts your country and everything and is very long. Also here is the wallpaper for the lockscreen it shouldn't need adjustment for non tablet mode.
