download in the market! just making users aware. its pretty awesome. its like walkie talkie between android users. works really good. ive talked between my nexus and an incredible and a droid and it has no problem. sometimes when i talk to my wifes g1 it is a little scratchy but other then that a great app!

Anyone have the .apk? Doesn't seem to show up on Froyo.

Agreed... if the app is free, does someone mind posting it as I cannot get it from the market. I'm on froyo as well.

I had this idea a year ago. Glad someone implemented it

Giving this a try. Interface is good. I am using a nexus one with froyo. I will come back to report how well it works.
EDIT: This is great! It takes some getting used to and is beta status but from what I have been able to do with it was fun! I chatted between another Nexus1 and a Moto Droid. Totally awesome during Mario Kart to hassle the other team. =p

This app is crazy,works perfect between my N1 and my wifes MT3G,now I don't know if is using minutes,messages or what.I need to find out,If somebody knows let me know.

I've not tried it yet (its installed), quite sure it just uses the data connection.

here is all of the bugs i have found so far the phone doesent work and sms mms 3g works wifi works there are a bunch of things that display in jappines kinda of weird but what evv all of my contacts got there now for the things i love the lock screen is the coolist with that phone and mms option (even thoe thoes apps dont work) that pulldown menu is cool with the toggles at the bottom and the abilty to have 50 pluss home screens so cool you will never run out of space keep up the good work

gtalk and browser was working. phone, mms, nodda...the lockscreen looks slick.

Is that all? I did this and phone didn't work.

Looks absolutely amazing but Messaging and Phone force close all the time 3G works perfectly though.

has this version been translated to english?

It's in English but some Chinese remains. The update later tonight will fix most of it.

Will the update also fix problems that the ROM has in audio, Phone, and MMS?

zenolator, this isnt related to zen miui but u said that you would work on a motoblur rom when the droid 2 came out. i was wondering if you have began on it, or if you are following through on it

Yes. I mentioned that in the OP. I had multiple tabs opened and didn't notice this was in the dev section until after I pressed submit.
Already PMed a mod to move it.

did you change your DPI? if its not set to 240 then the market will think your a tablet.

Its a third party app. It cant integrate with system apps unless implemented in a ROM. Thats why you dont have support for alarms, calendars etc

i didnt see it in the market because i was using a rom with a modem that is not official.
just changed the modem name to the latest official in build.prop
and there it is in the market again, along with a few app updates

AirDroid Theming

So I've been using AirDroid a lot lately and have been noticing that the UI is generally very... bright. So I decided to tone it down a little and customize it to fit a more ICS theme. Not to mention have the long-awaited Picture of our Galaxy Note up top!
If you don't know what it is, check it out here.
I just started the project about an hour ago and plan on re-theming pretty much everthing in there. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Yeah I fixed the sending animation and just touched it up to look pretty much how it does right now. There are still a few things missing (like the large image of the Note under the details, as I just haven't gotten around to doing that yet). Didn't look like too many people had any interest in it so I just didn't keep it updated here. If you want a link I'll upload it to Dropbox and paste a link in here for you though

It is attached to the first post now, I decompiled the .apk and located all the files I needed, then Photoshopped and CSS'ed my way through it until it looked the way I wanted. Then just Recompiled and signed it for distribution!

Looks good. I may try my hand at it as well, give it a Holo look. If I get it how I like it then I'll post the apk as well.
Edit: I see you already gave it a semi-Holo look. I did go in and change a few of the icons to the Google icons and I changed the background to the ICS background. I didn't look at one of the icons close enough though and didn't realize it wasn't transparent, so I'll have to fix that. Otherwise, I'm happy now.

The apk has been updated to include the new version released by the AirDroid team a few days ago, check it out! It's much less buggy than the original.

Very nice! Funny, I did almost the same thing. Only thing I changed was the image of the phone to be the SGN. (and the note in my picture is running AOSP ICS) You seemingly went above and beyond though with the theme. Good job

No problem! Happy to share. The new version should auto detect our phones and put the picture in there (after two or three times of using it usually). So their Gingerbread version is just what happens to be what they put
