HEllo everyone....newbie here..
I did the ICS update last week, and have not been able to connect my TF101 to my PC and have it recognize the SD card. I get a tone from the PC, but also get the error that USB device is not recognized and that the device has malfunctioned. I am trying to get root back and have had no luck. Has anyone else had this issue? Can someone tell me how to fix this ( in real newbie terms)?

I have a SuperPAD with the latest ROM....I am trying to connect the PAD to my Windows 7 machine....but it does not recognize it...it just stays silent...NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING....
As is didnt get any USB cable with my PAD..I bought one off the shop and have connected it.....
Wondering if the Cable was working....(going thru' forums..) I switched On the PAD Holding the Menu Key and Switching it on.....It did once show......on the Computer..... Installing drivers.......But Nothing after that.....
I also tried it with SD Cards and Without SD cards
Need some HELP here folks.....it will be appreciated...

Can't find any windows 7 or 7 64-bit drivers is the problem... I had to install xp on a seperate partition in order to get it to recognize the superpad... I'll let you know if I find anything...
its already tried to install once and failed. Thats why u get nomore popups
go into your device manager and find the unknown device
update drivers
point it to ur burntool folder

i know this is an old thread but did not want to open a new one for the same purpose. Just got a SuperPad as a gift. Could root it with Gingerbreak. Now the only problem i have is that when i connect it to the pc via the supplied usb cable nothing happens, no pop up nothing, and the superpad does not even show up as unknown device, so i do not know how to make it use the drivers i downloaded.

I successfully flashed darky 9.3 rom..bit here is the problem...I can't access my internal SD card and external SD card. they dont show up on the phone and on the pc if I plug it in.. why is this so?
I tried to restore to my custom rom using clockwork backup/restore and it is successful..after rebooting it gets stuck on the galaxy s logo..
Can anybody help me?
You mean access from your computer or access from the phone itself?
I doubt the phone would boot, if it couldnt access /sdcard.
Did you check the Settings?
Try to select 'Ask on connection'

I have the same problem. After connecting phone to pc no message on pc nor on phone itself.
While connected to pc phone windows shows something like "one of the devices plugged to usb had a wrong behavior and Windows cannot recognize it"
I wondered why the phone doesn't show the usb connection option anymore.
I tried switching all options (kies, massive storage, ask on connection), reflashed the costum rom and restored factory settings. But no way to establish usb connection.

Well, suddenly my phone works again. I have usb connection back... I can' t explain it.

so i need to sent me device to RMA , but today i noticed that when i connected the device to the computer , its tell me device not recognized (but its charger), there is any way to do a unroot without connecting the device to the computer? i can transfer files to the sd card

Hi my phone is stuck in emergency mode. It's an LGp705g. I believe I could fix my phone if only my pc would recognize it. Every program i try to run to recover or reinstall the firmware on it, can never actually connect to my phone. So my question is, what do i have to do to fix the usb connection issue?

On my tablet USB port is malfunctioned, i can´t connect device to PC and have a stable connection...always resets by itself.
Also, screen is broken and totally black. I hardly want to safe all of my data from tablet but don´t know how?
Could anything, btw, be done via Gmail account connected with tablet?

Then there is nothing you can do. Sorry.
The data can't be recovered if the device is not fixed (especially since it's not on an SD card and you cannot boot into recovery).
You can try something like : [Q] Recover internal Memory date from a Dead Phone
