Duckhunt Boot Animation - T-Mobile LG G2x

Was looking around and stumbled upon this. I thought it was worth sharing... made me laugh real hard!
*Update*
I changed the resolution to fit the screen properly and tweaked the speed to what I think is about actual speed... Enjoy

Rename your old one as a backup.

thats awesome, played the hell outta that game.. lol

I tried increasing the framerate by editing the desc.txt but that just made the animation stop working... looks like i will just have to deal with it how it is for now.

There is a live wallpaper with the duck hunt out there some where I had it for a while, pretty cool find.

Upped the frame rate to something not so annoying. I know I've got a longer version somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.
You can just push it to /data/local/ and it won't mess with the animation stored in the /system/media/ folder. To test it without rebooting just
Code:
adb shell
# bootanimation
ctrl+c to end

That's awesome thanks for the tips and fixing the awfully slow framerate.
Pin it to Win it.

Just realized that the pictures resolution isnt actually set to match our screens, off by a few pixels.
I will try to get it resized, and rezipped... Not sure if anyone is actually using it but i guess its more to get my own rocks off haha

Got your message, figured I'd post here since maybe someone else would want to know.
When you are zipping the file, make sure you select compression as store. If not you'll get a bunch of nothing when you try to see the animation. I noticed the .png files were not 480 x 800, but I didn't see the desc file. That is a simple drag and drop correction. No need to unzip or rezip.
I made / compiled / edited a bunch of animations before I started dabbling in theming, so if you've got questions then feel free to ask.

Interesting.. don't know if I am down with the whole umbrella corp thing but I like the direction.
I'm really digging it (always a fan of red and black), and even though I'm not into the game its just a cool logo to use for it. My only thing from the picture (and it might just be the picture quality), but the red looks pretty dark. But I friggin LOVE the notification background.
Looking forward to the finished product though, keep it up!
I'm new to this. How would I get the theme on phone
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
nice theme good to see something new
Nice, the red looks great. Were you planning on changing the status bar icons at some point down the line? Also, there's a pretty decent umbrella bootscreen floating around somewhere, if youre interested, I can try and hunt it down for you (i just need to remember where I saw it)

edit - nevermind, it was just a screenshot of a bootscreen.
Yeah looks been wanting a red n black theme.
Ill have to restore my SuperEvo nand and give it a try.
Id love to see a sense version too... :\
Sorry i just dont know what to do with those raw files.. and chance of you making a flashable zip?

then change the theme in adw settings, and import colors in cyanogenmod settings.
Can you make it flashable or metamorph
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Looks awesome so far! I love black and red. I agree with lightening up the red a little bit.
The red looks better on the phone. Seems to have gotten a bit muddy from compression on that pic. Color rendering in general seems a bit odd at times on my phone.
Not sure about a flashable zip or metamorph. I find the adb method easiest, so I never bothered with that.
Looks good, might have to give it a try.

+1 for a flashable zip
I'm gonna flash cm just so I can have this theme
i added a flashable zip to the link in op. that will apply the framework-res.apk, but you still need to apply the cm color xml and adw theme (if desired) manually.
I just get loops. Did full wipe and same thing. I'm on 6.1 rc1
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
sorry pitmanr2003, i'm still on 6.0 final. the framework apk must have changed. i'll edit the op to make that clear.
i added a flashable zip for the 6.1 rc1, but it's not tested.
very nice look! i'm totally digging the umbrella corp logo and the red divider lines
Which widget is that time and date one? I've seen around but never get a name.

If you are not making that animation or adding your name to the list of people who want it GO AWAY!

AirDroid Theming

So I've been using AirDroid a lot lately and have been noticing that the UI is generally very... bright. So I decided to tone it down a little and customize it to fit a more ICS theme. Not to mention have the long-awaited Picture of our Galaxy Note up top!
If you don't know what it is, check it out here.
I just started the project about an hour ago and plan on re-theming pretty much everthing in there. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
The .apk is attached at the bottom of the post if you want it (You're going to have to uninstall your current version before installing due to different signs), if you download it please leave a thanks and offer some suggestions and ideas!
(.apk Updated June 6th with the most recent version)
New fixes by the Airdroid staff and visual updates by me! Have at it.

Yeah I fixed the sending animation and just touched it up to look pretty much how it does right now. There are still a few things missing (like the large image of the Note under the details, as I just haven't gotten around to doing that yet). Didn't look like too many people had any interest in it so I just didn't keep it updated here. If you want a link I'll upload it to Dropbox and paste a link in here for you though
Has been working great for me.

It is attached to the first post now, I decompiled the .apk and located all the files I needed, then Photoshopped and CSS'ed my way through it until it looked the way I wanted. Then just Recompiled and signed it for distribution!
Looks good. I may try my hand at it as well, give it a Holo look. If I get it how I like it then I'll post the apk as well.
Edit: I see you already gave it a semi-Holo look. I did go in and change a few of the icons to the Google icons and I changed the background to the ICS background. I didn't look at one of the icons close enough though and didn't realize it wasn't transparent, so I'll have to fix that. Otherwise, I'm happy now.
The apk has been updated to include the new version released by the AirDroid team a few days ago, check it out! It's much less buggy than the original.
thanx

Very nice! Funny, I did almost the same thing. Only thing I changed was the image of the phone to be the SGN. (and the note in my picture is running AOSP ICS) You seemingly went above and beyond though with the theme. Good job
