wondering if someone can help me. I bought doodle jump today and decided to return it. I pressed the return button in the play store and it was still on my device and i can still play it and everything. So i pressed uninstall and now it says i can install it without telling me to rebuy it again. Anybody know if the return actually went through or not?

so a fe weeks ago i was looking in bloat freezer, and noticed i had two market apps. so i froze one to see what would happen. and the market was still there and working perfectly. so i left the double closed.
now today my phone rebooted itself and wouldnt get past the LG screen with the blue line under it. so i did a hold power and volume button to do a factory reset and it turned back on. but now the market is gone. im thinking it must be froze, because all the other apps i had that were frozen are still missing also.
so now i dont have the bloat freezer app, or the market. i figure if i could get bloat freezer back on there i would be able to unfreeze it, but i cant find an apk file for the newest version.
can anyone help me here?
I recently tried to root my phone but i became aware that the new OS on this phone wont allow root so i ended up with a soft brick phone. i undid it and now this is what im stuck with, i have no idea what to do and i cant even sign into to my google account to access the phone. When i click on the green android to get started it just pops back up and i press force close and it just repeats from there. PLEASE HELP ME!! Oh yeah ive also tried to factory reset the phone by pressing volume up and down but i just get all these green dots on my screen (galaxy looking) so i take out the battery but i need to fix this asap!
i did something very bad. i have a rooted phone but the notification to update the software kept popping up. i kept pressing the back key to remove the message, but then this time i accidentally pressed the install now. now it constantly restarts my phone and i cannot do anything to stop it from rebooting.
I feel like i may have just destroyed my phone can anybody help me at all. i didn't do a flash of the phone, but i also never uninstalled anything from the phone either except change the settings to allow me to use the tethering thing.
really do hope i did not just blew up 600 bucks.
The phone is rebooting looking for recovery that you don't have. You'll have to use HouseofMoto to return to stock

Or you can just flash the stock recovery again.
thank you both for your help. Hawkswind thanks for your help i managed to save my phone.
I owe you a coke.
Help!
So literally three days ago my dad gave me his old phone. It was a rooted Sony Xperia Z3V. I realized that I could not play Pokemon Go and so I installed the files a YouTube video told me to install to get Magisk, a program like root cloaker that should have let me turn on root toggle so that I could play Pokemon Go. I soon realized that this was not the case or I seriously messed up. Now my phone will not turn on. When I hold the power button it just vibrates and does nothing. When I hold the Power button and both volume buttons it shows a Sony logo after a while and then turns to a screen that says System Recovery at the top and has four options: Continue Power up, Safe mode, Factory Reset, and Power down. Absolutely all of them just turn off the phone. The Factory Reset has four options when you select it. At the top it says "Continue with Factory Reset?" and it has the following options: No, No, No, and Yes. All of those do nothing as well other that turn the phone off. My dad said he might have a backup on his SD card that he might be able to restore it to. However, I'm not sure he has this so if you can help please include a way without that. Also, my Dad told me that Sony Companion does not work with this phone. Please help. I know it was stupid but I'm still pretty new to rooting and I'm still in 8th grade. Now I'm back to my Droid Ultra. I know it's kinda a third world problem to have a slightly worse phone but I still broke the phone that my Dad gave me. It would mean so much to me if someone could help me I'm desperate.
Thanks,

Greetings and welcome to xda. First off don't worry your phone can be fixed easily, there are plenty of threads and tutorials on xda on how to hide root for certain apps. If root isn't important to you then just reinstall a stock rom.
If you ask your question here

the experts there will be able to help you

Hi, I have a toasted moto x play which I believe moto is responsible for, (bought on Amazon) but I'm doing volunteer work in Africa. I'm wondering if I can somehow salvage my phone with an Android upgrade or a custom rom (never done that). Ok here's what happened: My phone gave me a message that it was running very low on memory. I was super busy at the time and had to ignore it. When I rebooted the phone it came up with a black screen. However after rebooting about 3 times finally it came back. I cleared some storage removing pictures and Vids etc. However strangely the settings Icon had disappeared from the notifications bar. I then noticed that the home button and the multitask button did not work. I can get to settings from the settings app. But I can only run one app at a time and then back out of it as only the back button works. I was able to copy some stuff to Dropbox and back up my SMS messages before trying a factory reset. But then I found the factory reset button is greyed out! Google told me that some people have had this and solved it by removing their account. Bad advice. I removed my account and now cannot add it back. At least before this I could still access my mail, Google drive etc. I tried the factory reset by pressing the volume and power keys, and scrolling to recover mode. I get a message: Command not found.
Is my phone 'bricked'? It was running Android 6. I understand that 7 should be available soon. Is there any hope of manually installing such an update?
