Hello All,
I have a Craig cmp738B rooted, the problem I am having is it has no GPS or Bluetooth. Would it be possible to to run a Linux os on this to be able to use more hardware features? If anyone can point me in the right direction on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
How would running Linux make it have "more hardware features"? I don't understand the question.
Hi,
I am sorry I was not too clear, I have a bluetooth gps and would like to be able to use it but the tablet does not have an internal bluetooth for GPS. I know the bluetooth adapter I have works with Linux so I was wonder if there is a version that would run on the tablet. I do know the tablet uses Rockchip processor which from what I found is ARM. I tried running the adapter on the tablet setting it to host mode and I do get the blue light to activate on the adapter but that is it. I am not sure if I am going in the wrong direction with this or even if this is at all possible so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,

Hi,
Has anyone had any luck in making an ATSC (HD and SD over Antenna) work with android platform? My problem arises from work I am doing on an android based Set Top Box, and i would love to be able to hook up my USB ATSC reciever to my android box and be able to view/record over the air transmissions.
Help!!!
Hopefully someone has had this issue before.

Hi,
I'm about to buy the ODROID-X from hardkernel.com which will run Android 4.0.
Now I'm searching for a Touchscreen for the device and I'd like to connect it via USB.
Is this possible with android? I guess I do need a specific driver for that, right?
I found a touchscreen with an Ideacom MODEL UTS6680 chip and there are also
drivers for Linux.
Is there a way to adapt them to Android?
Does anybody know another touchscreen that runs on Android?
Thanks!
Hans
Hello everyone, I thought that if anyone tried to connect his tablet to his PC and use the tablet as wacom tablet(Photoshop PC you can view it on tablet) ,, if anyone tried it how did you do this?? if not, anyone got idea how to do that?
A Linux developer http ://rfc2822.github. io/GfxTablet/ , made this app works only on linux PCs with wifi networking, but my pc don't have wifi so if anyone knows how to use it on Linux but with USB CABLE tell me please, but I prefer to solve this issue on my windows platform...
sorry if this forum isn't the right one to post this.

I've tried to do this with Splashtop and I have to say, it works quite well. No pressure sensitivity though. You should try it out.
Hi all,
I need some help and hope that somebody can help me
So 'm working a no budget home security camera (and some server tasks) for myself. It is based on an Android device without touchscreen. For this, i need to remote control the device via WiFi. At this point i have stuck, i don't have uinput.ko in my kernel, and neither a module, so there isn't any VNC servers working, none of them accept mouse clicks or keyboard input. Teamviewer is the only renote control what works, but it cannot do unattended connecting. Screencast or any USB solution is not so good for this, but they are working.
So i need a uinput.ko for my architecture, and i cannot find on the whole internet. Can anybody send me one, or compile one?
The device has Allwinner A13 CPU, Android 4.2.2, rooted, kernel is 3.0.8+ . (I have tried uinput.ko's for 3.0.8+, but they are with a different symbol table... Vermagic matches, but the module doesn't work.)
I will be very thankful when somebody can help me. Thanks in advance
Hello,
as you can see on the title it pretty much describes what I want to accomplish.
Now, before you go "just google it" I have tried with the solution to install soundwire, but the wireless is too bad for the telephone, the computer comes first it looks like, so I can't do that.
I have gotten "WO mic" to work properly as it should, I only need help with the speakers for my telephone.
i would love to accomplish this without using Wi-Fi, and either with bluetooth or USB connection, if it would be possible, or is it still not possible after the 5 year old thread I read said that it is not possible to accomplish such thing through bluetooth/USB?
Thank you for taking your time reading through and trying to help me, much appreciated!
// Anders
Edit:
the solution in this thread is what I tried, but it does not work either.
