Exchange calendar sync works not properly - HTC Desire S

Got the problem which is the calendar not properly syncronisiert.
I have 3 users who use Android 2.3.5 and desire S.
Exchange Server 2003 SP2.
Change of dates/time on the desire be transferred to Outlook.
Change of dates/time on the Desktop(Outlook) are not displayed on the desire S.
New dates / deleted dates S appear on the desire.
The Exchange account was already deleted on the desire s and newly created.
is there a solution for this?
with the search I found not much.
greetings
Michael

Hi, found this post while googling.
Same problem as you, Exchange 2k3 and HTC Desire with Android 2.3.5.
I tried the same account on my personnal phone (same model, but with Cyanogen installed (2.3.7)) and I don't encounter any problem.
Did you find anything on this ? (installing Cyanogen on the customers phone is not an option )

[Q] Problems with HTC Sync - Contacts not updated any more (error)

Hi Guys,
I used my Desire S since some months, and syncing with Outlook was workins perfect for contacts and calendar.
but since some weeks, the syncing of contacts is not working any more.
Is there any way to re-initialize this sync again? On WM I always choose an option to sync it once in just one direction, e.g. PC-> phone to recover such an issue, but there is no option I found in HTC Sync to recover from this state?
Any ideas?
Thanks, GeScha
PS: I haven't found a thread covering this in Desire S section by search. So sorry for issuing a new thread if there is already one somewhere. Just let me know where it might be.

[Q] Android 2.3.5: Problems with Exchange

Hello everybody,
yesterday I updated my Desire S to Android 2.3.5 via the regular update process (no modified ROM or something like this).
Since then, some messages, which are marked as read in OWA and outlook, remain unread on the phone. Even starting the sync process manual via pushing the sync-button does not change anything on the "read-state".
It does not happen with every message, lets say about 50 percent of all incoming mails. I already deleted the exchange account on the phone and on the Exchange Server 2010 and started with a new account... doesn't change anything.
Do you have any idea? How can I look for the reason of the problem?
Thanks a lot.
Same problem with my HTC Desire S after update to 2.3.5. Updates to my e-mails in Outlook are not reflected on my phone. New e-mails are send
Ive got the same problem.
Already made a ticket with HTC Denmark, they had never heard of the problem - So please contact HTC for your country so we can get this annoying bug fixed.
Stuck with Enhanced Email for now...

[Q] Problems after upgrading to stock Android 3.5 ROM

Hi,
Since I upgraded my stock Desire S to stock Android 2.3.5 (HTC Sense 3.0) I have the following problems:
- My phone is always on Edge, although my operator supports HSDPA also (before the upgrade I regularly saw the "H", now it's always "E"). I can not find any setting for this...
- I have a hosted Exchange account, but since the upgrade my mail doesn't synchronise perfectly anymore. For instance, when I read an email on the phone, it does not show "read" anymore on my Outlook as it did before. But when I delete an email on my phone, it does get deleted on Outlook automatically...
- I can't change the "new email" notification sound. In settings/sounds/notification (could be a bit different - I translated from my local language) sound I have selected another sound, but this one doesn't sound when it should sound... I always get the (annoying to me) "standard" sound...
Anyone else experiencing these problems also? Any solution?
Thanks you very much for your time!
Same problems with Exchange 2003 Server and Desire S Version 2.3.5.
2.3.3 works fine, but after Update:
Calendar changes never sync, and emal status (read/unread) don't sync until a new mail received.
HTC knows the problems but it seems they have more interesting to make some new kiddy feature than to fix bugs for business clients.
you can help yourself by installing the origiginal android mail.apk. This will work fine.
Thanks! But where can I find that mail.apk ?
Here it is
Thank's but the apk doesn't fix the calendar problem. Does someone has a solution for this?
Still no solution for this problem from HTC. So I tried the app called Enhanced Email. It integrates the calendar in the original HTC calendar. Calendar changes always sync. This works fine for me!

Email not sync'd properly.

hello,
Is there a solution for my exchange mail not syncing properly? The problem is that new email syncs fine, but when I change a mail in Outlook on the laptop, the change in most cases does not sync to the phone.
Some info:
Android version :2.3.5
Kernel version : 2.10.161.3
Can anyone help me? What do I need to do? Flash a custom ROM?

Are you using Exchange mail? Outlook is delaying changes, I've noticed it too. Eventually they go through, on the next change. I'm blaming Outlook, because sometimes forced update still doesn't bring the changes, but if you do something else in Outlook and/or force-update it - it propagates to the phone.
Hi Jack,
Sorry, but I believe it is.something else.... When I use another client on my Desire (like thunderbird) the changes sync properly. However I would like to keep the stock email app. Problem seems primarily in the inbox. When I move a mail from inbox to another folder, it is present in both inbox and the other folder on my Desire S.

Hotmail-Exchange Issue

Hey all
Yesterday I bought a HTC One S. I set up my Homtail Account via Exchange AS and the following Problem occurs. When adding an event to the calendar the phone starts syncing and eats up all the battery but it isn't able to write to that calendar on the server so that i can see it at my pc.
If i delete the account and add a hotmail account under Accounts & Synchronizing the calendar syncing works but I am not able to add or edit Hotmail Contacts..
This functions are working on my old Desire Z with 2.3 and on my Transformer 101 without any problems. Told that the guys from HTC Support -> They told me to exchange the phone. ridiculous...and absolutely not a qualyfied answer
So it can't be a Server issue... WTF is wrong? has anyone an idea? Has anyone else this problems?
Thx in advance.
