[Q] Battery 0% and not charging problem.. - LG Optimus 3D

I found few threads about battery 0% and not charging anymore.
and tried what they says.... but it's not working...
does anybody fixed this problem??
actually i have a 'not sale version' of P925, and I was using it with
V10b EUR stock rom well, everything was OK.
and last week,
I installed CWM and restored with KING ROM v2.2 with all wipes.
it did go well, but since i rebooted my O3d,
battery indicator shows 0% and not charging anymore.
It goes off right after i unplug the power.
Only i can use it when usb or power is connected.
I have tried 5 different types of ROM with CWM and tried flashing too,
and battery problem still remains.
Help me plz..
Now, I want to try flashing original version which worked well.
can somebody share V10b EUR Ver. of BIN or KDZ file to me plz?
I've searched with google for a week and couldn't find it,
every download link were corrupted.
BIN_LGP920AT-00-V10b-EUR-XXX-JUN-16-2011+0.zip
Thanks..

i rooted and removed power off.apk using root explorer and still goes off.... is there anything i need to do more??

This is probably due to a problem with the battery, since android reads the battery %age off the battery (Not from batterystats.bin.)
Try getting a cheap battery off ebay and see if it helps.

no but you should not power off or restart ur mob if not if will continue to reset by itself,if you want to restart ur phone plug ur usb cable or poer supply and wait till the homescreen loads before removing the cable, then ur phone will remain on,it would be great if someone could provide us with a modded camera and video player so that we can film and play 3d films

have same situation here & i ve serche and spent too many houers to find solution but nothing
plz som1 post right stepls to fix this problem

Well, i got a fix. i got this problem about a month ago. and got it fixed with this solution:
First download Thaiz O3D Stock 2.7.1
And make sure you are rooted and have CWM
let it on the charger for about 2 hours.
go into CWM
Wipe data
Wipe cache
Advanced settings:
wipe battery stats
wipe dalvik
go back
Mounts and Storage:
format system
go back
Install zip from sdcard
Choose zip
Flash thaiz O3d 2.7.1
reboot
wipe battery stats again
flash thaiz O3d 2.7.1
and reboot
now let it sit on the charger for about 24 hours. after that. you will see you magically have 30% battery.
unplug it. plug it. and it charges fast again
Enjoy
This fixed it for me. hope it does for you.

It worked for me. so it should do the trick.
and if it doesnt.
you can put your phone into download mode to restore it to stock.
just unplug battery. hold power and vol up
put in usb cord
put in battery
and let LG mobile update restore it.
remember, you need to take your own KDZ and flash it manually.
like you always restore your phone.
if i'm not wrong it shouldnt ask for charging your battery first.
So, I thought I'd add my experience to this.
I'd been having the same problem with the 0% battery thing since I bought the phone off Ebay.
I tried wiping and flashing rom etc, and it didn't work.
I recently got the battery expansion cover and the larger battery.
One night, I'd had a couple beers and dropped the phone on the floor. The back case flew off and the battery flew out as well. I replaced the battery and replaced the case and turned the phone on.
What do you know, the battery problem was fixed and hasn't returned.
Strange.

Thanks for reply,
I checked it with accura samba beta but i doesn't work. I'll check it with official v10k software(kzd). I have one question: Did you plug fully charged battery during this steps?
Update: I can't charge my device after update with kzd file. Also I can't charge after update by recovery(I checked many ROM's Accura,cm7 and more) I did this steps from 'gamesz2' reply and issue still occur. I think problem occur when kernel is changing. When I updated device to v10k and I removed new kernel from zip file. I can charge my device but Camea,Camcorder and videos in browser didn't work
Can somebody help me?
..
did you fix it
No I didn't repair this issue on my device.
Yesterday I updated my device to v21d but I forgot one thing it's not rootable for now and I have to stay with v21d (with battery issue)
Update:
Solved in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547960. Device is working in 99% without 3d

Now the battery indicatior shows wrong .I tried to completly discharge and full charge for severak times but still wrong indicator.
I also tried battery calibration softwares .not worked.
My phone is completly stock now.S-on with original recovery so I can’t remove battery portion with recovery.

proper battery calibration i would suggest
get these apps first
current widget(its a widget..so yu need to add widget onto your screen)
battery calibration
charge the phone completely..not until the battery shows 100% but until the current widget shows 0/1 mah (it might take hours too..for this to happen even after 100%)
then stop charging and immediately wipe the stats using battery calibration app
then let it discharge completely(i.e. until phone switches off because of low battery)
then charge it completely again and then check the stats

If all fail, try to do "temp root" (instead of perm root), temp root does not modify any system partition nor recovery, you can try the link (or Google it): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161283 (I never tried it), after temp root is done, should be able to remove the battery stat file (I believe it is /data/system/batterystats.bin) and reboot.

[Q] Bricked Phone, and T-Mobile Replacement policy

I was running CM 10 and tried to flash the stock ROM. I flashed it fine (no errors in CWM, I also did clear the cache, dalvik, wiped system) after that I pressed reboot and nothing happened no Samsung just a black screen. I waited for around 10 minutes and then finally took out the battery. After that the phone wouldn't boot, recovery or download wouldn't work either. I tried everything I could and figured it's hard bricked. So if you have any suggestions on this they will be greatly appreciated. I still have my T-Mobile warranty, and the question I have is would they accept a phone that is rooted, but won't even boot so basically there is no way of finding out if it's rooted or not?

First error was you wiped system before reboot so there was nothing there to boot into... Leave the battery out for a bit then insert and boot into recovery.. reflash rom and this time only wipe cache and dalvik not system.. reboot.. Also how charged was the battery? maybe it is almost dead and needs charging!

Wait... you wiped system after flashing stock...? That wiped the stock rom That's why nothing booted after the reboot.
I don't know why you can't get into download mode... When you plug in a usb when the battery is out does the phone vibrate? If not, try another usb cable. If that fails then you do have a hardware issue. If the phone vibrates hold vol + and vol - and power and reinsert battery-you should get download mode.
AFAIK, they (T-Mo) put the phone in download mode and check the flash counter. If it says anything other than "no" they will not accept it. Any odin flash adds to the flash counter.

As said before it's a brick, no screen, no vibration nothing. And I don't think T-Mo can even get to the phone unless they jtag it or something, which they will most likely not do as it will cause discomfort and timeloss to the customers (ME)

Well I doubt they can do that at the store (I don't have any confidence in the salespeople's tech ability there lol), so if you are under warranty just tell them that when you unplugged it this morning it was like that
If it doesn't vibrate when plugged in and no battery installed then it sounds like a hard brick.
I think they do the manufacturer warranty as an exchange on the spot, so even if they do figure it out eventually you should be good.
But it would suck if they can get it into download mode at the store... better try numerous usb ports (even switch computers to be sure!) and cables to be sure Also wouldn't hurt to leave the battery out overnight and try again. If they get it in download mode... well two things. One they won't ever honor any warranty on the phone anymore (and they will give the phone back to you), but two... if they can get it in download mode have them leave it like that and rush back home - and then you're back in business
Kind of a win-win...

I got a replacement going from T-Mobile, they just sent out the new phone today, but I'm confused do I send them my broken one right now? or wait till the new one comes?
They should have explained everything on the phone, they will send you a box to return it in . And if they find out that it has been rooted and modded , you could be charged the full price for the phone. Every time I sent the phone back I've always read it back to stock if yours was bricked hopefully they won't notice

battery percentage not accurate on mytouch 4g slide cm9.1

battery percentage not accurate on mytouch 4g slide cm9.1 ....i charged my phone for 6 hours it gives 36%,i unplug it and reboot it and it gives 94%,after another reboot it gives 72% just wondering why it keeps fluctuating and the batt stats as been wipe but still the same please kindly help
Try discharging it completely, then charge up to 100% without any breaks. Then, again empty the battery and charge to max. Then, for the third time, once you're done discharging and charging up to 100%, don't disconnect the charger, manually delete batterystats.bin in data/system, and then disconnect the charger.
...The above solution might work. Might. Yeah.
thanks please is there any other option?
Use Battery Monitor Widget. Put the widget on your home screen, monitor your battery at all times, gather enough data, and then calibrate it.
If that still does not solve the problem then... wipe cache, dalvik, flash a new kernel.
If that's no good either, then switch to another ROM.
If you still cannot see light at the end of the tunnel, then... buy a new battery.
If, even then, life still betrays you... then... thoroughly mix 2.34 grams of sugar and 5.09 grams of powdered gold in 155.71 grams of warm distilled water. Drink the mixture and hopefully, your life will change for the better.
I've got your back. :fingers-crossed:
thanks for getting back at me....my battery works great on the stock rom when i tried switching back but its just malfunction on cm9 and cm10 as well...i.e battery percentage not accurate...well,i will give it a try and please how do i flash a new kernel
Flash WildKernel Reloaded on either CM9 or CM10.
1. Download the zip file and copy it to your phone's SD card.
2. Boot your phone in Recovery. Wipe cache and dalvik cache.
3. Flash/Install the zip file.
4. Reboot your phone.
5. Empty the battery, charge to 100%, wipe batterystats, unplug charger.
That should do the trick. But if it still fails, try flashing a different ROM. AOKP, for instance.

Batterystats.bin is automatically wiped when the battery charge. So doing all that crazy calibration is honestly a waste of time.

I had to buy extra batteries if I wanted to stay on the bleeding edge of development.
For some reason CM9 was the same way and it took ages to fix. Its just something your going to have to compensate for if you plan on staying with the device.

Download kernel of choice...make sure your s-off then wipe cache and dalvik then flash in recovery or...if your s-on download kernel of choice. Flash it in recovery (for modules to be flashed) then boot into boot loader and run put the boot.img in your SDK/fastboot dir and run fastboot flash boot boot.img and reboot.
