There is a thread on rootzwiki in the Droid2Global section named "Another update" that may help you.
I can't post the exact link because I haven't reached the number of posts.
Let us know if you solve anything.

I found page with SBF files for motorola but nothing of this SBF cannot work

I took a week looking for and nothing at all and I do not even imagine that I have lost my Droid 2 Global

A More stable MIUI for XT720 is released

I saw a rom in a chinese moto forum and wanna share with you guys. A dev there has modified MIUI for XT720,the version is BETA2 now. However the rom is still not perfect I can say, free ram on startup is about 20~30mb,can be switched to english but still there exists bugs and not the whole ui is coverd, camcorder etc but it is still worthwhile to give it a try...
link:http://u.115.com/file/e6kiq2j4#oyang06_MIUI_beta2.rar
Since the download site is chinese,so if you are using google chrome, use the translate function in it and press CNC download or Telecom download
thank you. this one is 10 times better than the 1st. i can actually download from market now. im still trying to make everything english. when i do ill upload a more english version for everyone to enjoy.

Great to hear of some succesful development of MIUI for XT720. Hope to see a fully functional version for use sometime soon.
Anyways just wondering, which version of MIUI are we talking about here?

[Q] Bricked phone, help please

Hello xda.
I bought a D2G from eBay that came with MIUI, I wanted a stock android so I downloaded a supposedly stock ROM and flashed it with CWM included in MIUI.
It bricked my phone but I can still get to stock recovery, I've read a bit but I'm still confused of how to unbrick it. I watched a Youtube vid that was a guide to do that, however some people say that one of the files is corrupted.
I already have RSD Lite and the drivers, what do I have to do next, please help me.
Thank you very much.
EDIT: Is very probable that the ROM I flashed wasn't the correct one because it was about 100Mb in size.
EDIT2: If it helps in any way, if I turn on the phone it shows the MIUI logo and then goes blank (well grey).
try wiping data in stock recovery
edit: what was the file name and how did you flash it, clockwork or bootloader mode
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
Thank you for your response I'll try that now, by the way, can I charge battery in stock recovery? because I don't know how much do I have left.
EDIT: The file is in the other computer, I'm downloading right now another called DROID2WE_X6_2.4.29_FULL.sbf.zip, I entered MIUI recovery then with that I entered CWM and flashed it. Another question, how do I wipe the data? thanks again
not likely, but if white charging light, next to usb port comes on you should be good
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
you need to unzip that file and flash with rsd lite with phone in bootloader mode

the name of the file flashed was D2G.2.4.330.Deodex.Root.Busybox.2.4.29apks.zip
It shows the white LED =D
Thanks for the link, I loled when I saw Cirno as the logo.
stock recovery http://droid.koumakan.jp/wiki/Android_Recovery
you need 4.5.608 sbf if you want newest software, that can be rooted http://www.droidknows.com/showthread.php/364-Gingerbread-Full-SBF-4-5-608
don't use 2.3.4/4.5.629 unless all else fails because there is no going back

Well, I didn't bother making a proper logo so I took the one I use at hisouten.koumakan.jp, another wiki.
Thank you, I now have stock android installed. When I saw battery life after flashing... 90%.
are you on verizon?
if so your phone will, try to update, to 4.5.629, which is fine if you are not interested in rooting, but you can not go back
if you do not want to update you need to root with Pete's root tools, and rename motoblurupdater
if you want to know more just ask, or check out the link in my sig
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
It doesn't matter if you're on VZW or not, stock firmware checks for updates and tries to install them via WiFi/mobile data regardless of your carrier choice.
The files in question to be renamed are
/system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk
/system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.odex
I had wondered if the wiki was your work, G.Y.
Thanks for compiling that, it's helped me many times.

Is there anyway to flash the Motorola M after unlocking bootloader WITHOUT using usb

My port is f'd up on my RAZR HD and will not allow connection to laptop. The tear down is rather complicated for me because it requires soldering to the motherboard.
*Edit for clarification

Wrong forum. And probably not. It may be very simple to replace the port. Look for a tear down video and the part online.

This is the Droid Razr HD, Droid Razr Maxx HD, and Razr HD forum (XT925/XT926). There is a forum specific to the Droid Razr M (XT907). Like i posted before, wrong forum.

I just realized that you mean you want to flash the Motorola boot logo or splash screen. Motorola M in the title + XT907 in your sig. confused me.
The answer to your question is NO. You have to be connected to a computer to flash the bootlogo. There currently is no mobile fastboot.
Looks like it is possible as eye__dea has pointed out.
Are you using the cable that came with the phone? Try more than one cable if possible.
Also try the drivers, and possibly the logo from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340075
Sorry for confusion the title sig thing messed me up.
Oh I see. But yes I have tried every cable in the land. I took my beloved RAZR HD to the beach and got it ever so damp with salt water... Functions perfectly except can't take a usb (Wall or otherwise) except from one cheap O charger. I think the reason it works is that through some glitch in the matrix, that charger disables other functionality when it's plugged in... But EVERY other charger/Usb cable causes phone to boot loop.

You could open up the phone and disconnect the battery then try cleaning the port with a q-tip soaked in alcohol.

Hello,
What is the name of the red M splash screen on the XT926? Where can it be found? Is it a file called "Logo" ?
I have an unlocked bootloader & rooted phone, and I want to give my phone a stock look, instead of looking at the "Unlocked Bootloader" warning every time.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I haven't had much luck searching the xda site. It always points me to 'boot animations' which I don't want to change.
All I want is the red, circular M when the phone powers on.
Thank You,
Paul

I just realized that my link is for the Droid Maxx files (my phone) and not the Mini, but when the site is back up, the mini is easy to find (Obake_mini, if I'm not mistaken.) Sorry, I have the latest Maxx file but nothing for the Mini.
