[DEV] SSLStrip for Android , Open Source - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

SSLStrip for Android, is port from sslstrip(python script) to Android !
SSLStrip for Android requires a rooted device
Features included:
arpspoof
sslstrip
save sslstrip logs to sdcard
...
more is coming!
Works:
Galaxy nexus, AOKP maguro build 21 with francisco #47
Moto Atrix (stock firmware, but forget version )
Doesn't work:
Market link:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.crazyricky.androidsslstrip
Feel free to contribute on this project:
github.com/crazyricky/SSLStrip-for-Android

Works nicely on the hp touchpad. Cm9 9.0.0rc0alpha2

Excellent work buddy, what other type of goodies are you going to implement ?

Gave this a try, it seems like everything works except arpspoof (had to use actual arpspoof application separate - this caused problems but shows sslstrip itself working right).
Device used: Samsung Stratosphere

Can anyone explain what's this actually? And what it does?
Burned from my laser torch using pencil cells

The tool – called ‘SSL strip’ – is based around a man-in-the-middle attack, where the system for redirecting people from the insecure to the secure version of a web page is abused. By acting as a man-in-the-middle, the attacker can compromise any information sent between the user and the supposedly secure webpage.

Doesn't work here on sg2

It should, it works on my galaxy note.

It was either the ICS StuNNeR or the CyanogenMod 9, i dont have a note anymore i downgraded to a one x which i regret very much.

Wow great app
Man, thanks for porting this to android your a complete super star.
Would it be possible to update the market version or someone post a recent apk here as ive noticed the market version does not have an option to save logs out, where as the github source says it does and ive got no idea where to start building the source with eclipse.

Not working on HTC Desire
Hi,
I just tested it on:
-Model: HTC Desire / Bravo
-Rom: (aokp_bravo_milestone-5)
-OS: Android 4.0.4
-Kernel: 2.6.38.8 Tiamat-ICS#2
First of all, arpspoof standalone works fine. So I experimented a little with the iptable-commands out of the sourcecode and the shell reports:
"FIX ME! implement getprotobyname() bionic/libc/bionic/stubs.c:450"
is this a possible reason for not showing me results in the app?

I haven't checked the code for that tool, but it seem that it may be dependent on the type WiFi chip you have (and how its implemented)? What are the device/driver dependencies for those tools?

Andrew Kovacs Google Honeycomb for smartphones has given a clear rejection. It will not come in that form for mobile phones, but the features would be transferred "over time" on the phones, Google's spokesman said on request of PC Mag.

Hi, i have not much experience in Romdevelopment, but you can get Network working by pushing the /system/lib/libhtc_ril.so from any Desire build (like CM7) and change the rild.libpath=/system/lib/libreference-ril.so in build.prop to rild.libpath=/system/lib/libhtc_ril.so
H guys installed and got some feedback
1:quadrant works got 1300 not bad
2: it is quite fast if you change the launcher to launcher pro
3: market dont work niether does xda
4 will try games soon but for next update try to get network workin and include launcher pro, nice work

It's not that it isn't made for smartphones, it's that it is an SDK port. I bet when AOSP HC roms start coming out (once it's released of course), there will be stable roms for many smartphones.

Honeycomb is a tablet-only OS. The next major release ("Ice Cream Sandwich") will merge many of the new features (Action Bar, multitasking with thumbnails, other stuff) in a smartphone-sized form into the smartphone version of Android. For now Honeycomb will be tablet-only, and I'm sure developers like the CM team wouldn't waste their time making it somehow to work on phones when a new and optimized release is just a few months away.

Working wifi monitor mode!!!

UPDATE: added injection support for bcm4329 firmware
I just uploaded a new patched firmware version for bcm4329, this version adds raw packet injection support.
Issues
Low injection speed - on my nexus one the injection is working really slow. It seems that the injection speed starts fine but then slows down to as slow as ~700ms per packet.
Radiotap - we don't handle radiotap on packet injection. 'aireplay-ng' works fine with it but tools like 'reaver' seem to require it.
Greetings,
We are a group of 3 researchers and in the last few weeks we have successfully added "monitor mode" support to the common broadcom wifi chipsets: BCM4329 and BCM4330. We have a working PoC on Galaxy S 2 and Nexus One.
We opened a new blog with all of the details at:
http://bcmon.blogspot.com
For the lazy ones the current status is:
bcm4329 - Fully working monitor mode on our Nexus One
bcm4330 - successful PoC - monitor mode on Galaxy S II
We havent tested it yet, but if you have a phone with one of those chipsets (and you most probably have one), it should also work on your phone too.
We would appreciate any comments on the forum or to our mail "contact dot bcmon at gmail dot com"
Its been a long day (with little sleep) so good night/morning and enjoy
Ruby, Yuval and Omri
UPDATE: if you had wireless-tools errors with airodump-ng try the new utils.zip version.
Awesome!!! The bcm4330 is fully functional?

Since you use CM10 you will need to compile the kernel object yourself.

I honestly don't know much about anything related to this topic, my guess is it has something to do with the kernel. I'm running Siyah Kernel v4.1.5 and booted the CM ROMs with dual-boot.
I tried the dhd.ko uploaded by MemoryController, but get the same error.
I'll check tomorrow if something new came up here

Uploaded kernel image and module, look at first page
If you get "Can't find wireless tools, exiting."
Solution: Make sure you have 'iwpriv' on your system, just add soft link from 'iwpriv' to 'iwconfig' (actually it is 'iwmulticall')
if iwconfig dosen't work you will need to compile it with your libs, maybe I'll make a statically linked version of iwmulticall later today.

[Xposed][HACK] Workaround for Netflix on CM10.1 - All Exynos4 devices

This is an Xposed module (See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 for more on Xposed) that allows Netflix to work on CM10.1 on Exynos4 devices.
Source code is at https://github.com/Entropy512/XposedNetflixWorkaround - Use the Android Developer Tools Eclipse package to build it
To install:
Install the Xposed Installer APK from the thread linked above
Install the Xposed framework using Xposed Installer
Install the APK linked in this post
Reboot your device after enabling the module in Xposed Installer
Enjoy Netflix
How does this work?
For whatever reason, Netflix uses its own player, called JPlayer, if it detects that it is running on Android 4.2. For whatever reason, JPlayer does NOT like the current video subsystem in CM10.1 on Exynos4 devices.
What this module does is make Netflix always think that it is running on ICS, which will make it use what appears to be the system OMX player. (I'm not entirely sure of this, but I am sure that it is NOT JPlayer and it DOES work on all of my devices I've tested).
This is an interim workaround/hack until the root cause of JPlayer failing on Exynos4 devices can be determined. (Edit: From talking with a few people, JPlayer is replacing a number of components of Android's playback framework. This includes components that have been altered for Exynos4 compatibility.)
DO NOT REPORT THIS ISSUE IN CYANOGENMOD JIRA. No affected devices are receiving M or stable builds and this is one of the many reasons.
reserved 2 - probably not needed

Andrew, version 1.8.1 of Netflix works on Exynos4 + Jelly Bean. I'm not sure if it's the last known working version but it's an alternative; I took a stab and downloaded the version I thought might be at/around the last Netflix update for ICS.
Edit: arcee indicated that 2.1.1 will work in tomorrow's build, not sure if specific to Odroid only.

He took a different approach to killing JPlayer:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/916bbf03847ef5e3b5264bbbeac6c30399281520

There's no clean way to do this. Either there is app-specific **** in the device tree that is difficult for users to remove if it ever gets derpy, or users have to actively search for a workaround such as this one.

Latest working version is 2.0.1, the APK is linked below. It is the last version before they have introduced the newest controls. Works just fine on S2 with CM 10.1.

This is the easiest solution for the problem right now. Don't update from Market, but that is I guess quite obvious.

Dependent on the device maintainer I'm sure. My Odroid U2 has a fix merged in last night's nightly. YMMV.

I'm considering using arcee's approach... I really dislike having app-specific **** in the device tree though...
I can't figure out why people are having issues installing Xposed - it has installed flawlessly on every CM10.1 device I've tried. The fact that it may fail on certain manufacturer-customized firmwares isn't relevant here as this hack is specific to CM10.1
The only thing I can think of might be that Superuser prompts aren't quite working right on some people's devices.
As to eventually including Xposed in CM itself - It is something I would love to see, however as a device maintainer, it's "above my pay grade". Including it directly in CM would require careful consideration and analysis by the project leads.
I'm working on a flashable zip that drops a script in init.d to get the job done. The script is based on https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr...mmit/916bbf03847ef5e3b5264bbbeac6c30399281520 although I had to tweak it a little to get it to work. I can share it once it is finished, if anyone is interested. It will also copy a script to addon.d so that as I update cm10.1, the hack will be persistent.

No, bluetooth does not work. It acts as if it would, but it won't find any devices.
Why wouldn't I put system and data in one file? It belongs together, /system contains gecko.

But webapps contain in /data/local/webapps ?
or /system/b2g/webapps on your build?
Those are just apps, gecko itself is in /system/b2g, and I suppose it differs between firefoxOS versions.
@Tasssadar
easier to make flashable zip
extract this file into B2G/out/host/linux-86
and run
Code:
./build.sh otapackage
Just got it running in multirom, works alot better then i expected! Thanks Tassadar, this will be fun to play around with :silly:
I too finagled this to work with MultiROM!! Thanks Tassadar, this is pretty baller.
Nice @Tasssadar !
I'll flash this once I get home and give her a whirl.

Introduction
Firefox OS, also known as Boot2Gecko, is a lightweight mobile OS made by Mozilla, based around HTML5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefox_OS
This is an unofficial build of FirefoxOS for flo and deb.
What does not work:
Camera
MTP
Mobile data (on LTE version of N7)
Bluetooth
Not really smooth
Installation
These ZIP files act like an Android ROM, so the installation is the same as usual - do a factory reset in recovery and flash the ZIP file.

Don't know if anyone else said this but if you try to use the notification bar in 1.3, it will just stay down and won't go away. I know it is in development. Also can we flash a custom kernel for it that does not use the Kexec patch?

Thanks just about to try it out
You need to have the older Multirom 33a to install / run as a 2nd OS. I had an issue with WLAN not turning on after 1st boot but 2nd all is good. Runs smooth !
Downloading atm, Thanks!
I loved SailfishOS on my Maguro but now that I changed phone I was missing it. Nice to see it works on flo!

yup proof
If you need any specific config file or log I can send it your way. BTW have you checked Bluetooth? Mine's not working and couldn't figure out how to enable it. The configuration section for bluetooth is all blank and if I press the shortcut to enable it, just blinks for a while.

I hardly see any proof there but btw what game is that?
I literally snapped a picture of you saying you didn't see a proof in the previous video lol.
Anyway, everything's working now. BT's a bit fiddly and tends to fail initializing some boots (just as wifi won't work on the first boot after install). The game is Shattered Pixel Dungeon, a mod from the FOSS PixelDungeon for android, running via AlienDalvik.

both are the same, my Nexus 7 2013. The screenshot is just a picture I took of it "docked" on my Logitech K480 keyboard.

I mean it's not android you know? There is no android apps (ignore dark magic) and root is ootb. Do you need android apps? no.
@boom1982
Default apps a re really light and usable and there's a bunch on OpenRepos' warehouse if you need more.
Rom's working fine here. Bluetooth and Camera work as intended (I have put Sailfish as my main and only os, though.)
One problem that I have though is that many apps in the Jolla Store do not show up (jolla-weather and jolla-notes for example are nowhere to be found, as is the email client). Is there any way to get those apps?
