Just got my 727r and I am unable to connect any bluetooth devices. I've got 4 that worked with my Blackberry but none of them connect with the Samsung. Bluetooth is turned "on" and when I do the scan, nothing is found. Either I'm just a NOOB and I'm missing something or its DOA. Any suggestions?

just a question, but did u put them all in discovery mode or jut turn them on, cuz u have to resync them to your new phone
Yes, the devices have been put in discovery mode.
Bluetooth has been kinda wonky on my skyrocket recently as well. Usually power cycling fixes it though.

Disabled JD. Rebooted. No change. I have installed a number of apps prior to my first test of Bluetooth. Has there been a history of any other apps that might interfere with Bluetooth?
actually, in my experience yes. Do a nandroid backup and then flash darkside, then a different rom. Try bluetooth again right away. If it works, its ur rom,if I doesn't, its ur phone

Mmmm ... that's disappointing to hear. I am still running the stock ROM and wanted to get a feel for what the stock environment is like before I started rooting things. Your idea is valid for troubleshooting ... I'm not sure I want to go that way yet.

Here here for Tasker and CalenGoo. Haven't tried GREaderPro, but have checked others. Might have to do so.

CalenGoo was originally an iOS app and seems to have made the transition quite nicely. Widgets need a bit of work. For a calendar app with Google calendar functionality, I have yet to find an equal.
And if you're a 'reader' like me, who gets most of their info from tons of feeds, than gReaderPro is the perfect app. Have tried most of them and this is easily the most stable and well balanced one out.
ADWLauncher EX is also a great alternative launcher to check out. Smooth and full of options.
Google Docs is also key, perfect and lite.
Seesmic for lite Twitter users is nice, as well.

APP QUARANTINE is a tool to freeze unwanted apps. It does not only allow you to disable any
pre-installed bloatware, but is also able to have your apps only available when you need them.
Therefore you can also use home screen widgets to quickly toggle without even launching the app.
App Quarantine works on all Android devices with Android 2.2 and later (up to version 1.28).
The new version (1.29 and later) will only work on Android 4.0 and later.
The app is 100% free, no ads, no malicious advertising scams

Features of App Quarantine PRO:
- toggle multiple apps at once, from the app or from home screen widgets
- toggle apps from notifications (Android 4.1+ only)
- Quarantine drawer
- Password protection
App Quarantine PRO works on all Android devices with Android 2.2 and later (up to version 2.8).
The new version (2.9 and later) will only work on Android 4.0 and later.
Newest feature in beta version:
The brand new Quarantine drawer is like the app drawer of your launcher but allows to launch disabled apps instantly. The Quarantine drawer only shows quarantined apps, but you can hide apps which you never need at all. Furthermore there's a "Favorites" screen which shows the apps you need more frequently, no matter if they are currently in Quarantine or not.
The Quarantine drawer can be launched in different ways:
- By an icon from your home screen
- By using activities from a 3rd party launcher (e.g. Nova or Apex)
- By using the Google Now gesture (*)
(*) Works fine on Nexus phones. If you have a Samsung, HTC etc. with hard keys it might work different, or not at all.

Update: apps are re-quarantined after being updated. Possible with either automatic or interactive mode.

New! Actual graphics and styles!
This app controls a Roku streaming video player over wifi using Roku's External Control Protocol. It's the best (possibly the only working) free one on the market and can even do a few things the paid apps can't!
Features:
Find and connect to your player in less than 10 seconds without having to manually enter its address - even works with players connected over wifi!
Roku ECP - way more reliable than the old Telnet protocol some other remote apps use
Full 12-button control including Back and Instant Replay
List and launch channels directly from your phone
Automatically jump to search screens using your phone's search button*
Enter text on your phone and send it to the player - never use the on-screen letter picker again!
*Most channels support this on most screens. Hulu is a notable exception

Changelog:
2.3 - Improved layouts and graphics
2.2 - Improved auto-scan
2.1 - Added search, channel picker, and text entry
2.0 - Added auto-detect, multi-player support, optimized layouts, and more!
1.1 - Fixed a problem where some screens on the Roku player (like Netflix menus) wouldn't respond to commands.
Updated to 1.1. Now works way better with Netflix.
MAJOR update! Auto-detect, better screen support, and more! If you thought it sucked before, it's worth another look because I sucked out all the suck.
Updated again. Now you can pick channels, search, and enter text directly from your phone!
Updated to 2.2. This adds a few UI tweaks and methods to deal with some unreproducible force closes on startup I'm seeing in around 1% of my users. If you get one, please report it with as much information as possible!
Updated to 2.3. Finally added a custom layout and graphics, so now it's not quite as ugly.
Very cool app.
Would you consider releasing open source so others could port it to Windows Phone, etc.?

Windows Phone is in a totally different language (C# I think) - there's nothing you could really port and the Roku control protocol is documented on their website.
Quite useful, thankss!
what's the difference between the free version and the pro version?
Would it even be possible to get this working with the games?

Roku WiFi FC on Toshiba Thrive
Ethan-
Thanks for a great program! I use it all the time, since the remote is persistently lost at my house.
I just fired version version 2.10 (as reported by Titanium Backup) up on my Toshiba Thrive (HC 3.2), which was hardware locked (with a switch) in landscape mode, and got an Force Close each time. Suspecting the rotation to be the issue, I unlocked rotation, and started Roku WiFi in portrait mode. Voila! It worked correctly. (I did a similar test on my Droid Bionic GB 2.3.4 - no problem.) With the app still running, I then unlocked the tablet, rotated the tablet to landscape, locked it, and checked again. Strangely enough, no FC when switching back and forth between another app and Roku Wifi. (Roku WiFi always came up in portrait.) However, if I actually exit the app and restart, FC comes back.
As a separate issue, please note that the auto-find feature doesn't work on my network (on neither the Thrive nor the Bionic). I have 4 Roku units, which Fing sees just fine in network discovery, and identifies by the MAC address. Manually connecting to the Roku units by IP address works perfectly.
If you are interested in suggestions, some way of accommodating multiple Roku units would be handy. At the very least, please consider pre-populating the manual connect IP address dialog with the current address so it's easier to change (rather than having to re-edit it each time).
Let me know if you'd like more debugging information to help find this problem.
Best regards,
-Jim

so far no downloading issues for me

No it didn't work. Tried to install AppSizeTest 30MB. The Problem seems to be that the market downloads a temporary .apk into /cache.
Thank you so much
Actually, it auto-updated the market for me! All you have to do is (after making sure your on wifi - it works best through wifi I found) get into the Market, go to the "my apps", wait for your apps list to come up, and press the center hard (i.e. Home) button (to keep the market in the background). Now, wait for some time (depends on your connection speed) and your market should get updated.
Worked for me all the way from 2.xx to 3.1.3 to 3.1.5 and now to this.
Updated OP..new Android market 3.4.4 added

Hi!
MouseMote turns your phone into an airmouse. This means that the app allows you to control your computer mouse by moving your phone around the air. It uses the motion sensors in your phone to detect the angle at which you hold your phone and translates the movement into mouse movements. In essential you are able to use your phone kind of like the Wiimote.

Is the glitching happening with both touchpanel and airmouse? If so, using bluetooth connection may work better.
