I'm having black screen problem in my Android samsung galaxy gt i5500.
Its even not showing downloading mode in the phone. !! plzzzz help me in getting to the downloading mode !
I was flashing my phone with CM 7.2 and wiped all data n cleared cache ! when i re booted the phone is showed me black screen ( as if my phone doesnt have battery bt it has) and even its not showing downloading mode. pllzzzzzz helppp !

but it looks like you have a hardbrick... you need to go to service center.
just.....a big problem....aspire is right your phone is hard bricked...u must go to nearest service center to get your motherboard replaced.....

m using vol down+ center button+power button but i have been to service center and he said me to replace mother board _ thank btw
But I dont think my android needs a mother board to get changed_ I was working properly even after update_ but didnt worked out when i restarted it Isn't there any solution for it other than mother board ???

I never upgrade my phone before. But today I decided to upgrade firmware through the Kies but its end awfully.
Kies succesfully downloaded update but when it starts to download the new firmware to the phone its stood on 1%.
On the screen of the device I saw Android logo and under it "Do not turn off target". But after waiting 2 hours it was still on 1%.
Then I canceled the download and disconected device from CPU.
And now I can't turn on my device, its keeps showing "Device and computer picture with attention icon in the middle of them". I removed battery and put it back, but when I am turning on device it shows the same picture of "Device-----Attention icon-----Computer".
The phone in 1 year warranty and I give it to the service centre already, but I am still worry. What do you think can the guys from the service centre repair the phone or not?

Guys didn't you ever bricked your phone or dont you know who bricked his phone.
I am so angry that I bricked it when tried to upgrade it through official Samsung Kies.

The only thing that shows up is an icon of a phone on the left with a warning sign in the middle and a computer icon on the right.
Didn't kies made a backup before installing? There is a function called restore backup. Put your phone into download mode, connect it to the PC and restore the last firmware. If that doesn't work you can always use odin to flash the desired version.
I try to change the ROM for my SE X10, but after I have done formatting the data I realised that I downloaded the wrong file and not the rom. And now my phone is stuck at the SE logo. can I somehow recover it back as before?
After rooting galaxy pro & i installed rom ,superuser. i off the phone but it cant power on any more

I Bricked my phone by Flashing CWM by ROM Manager..
bt i submit my phone to Service center...
Is there Chance(Possibility) to Service center knows the phone was rooted..

ROM Manager will not give you the latest CWM and CWM is ROM Dependent.
Next time download CWM appropriate to your Phone Model and Flash CWM using ODIN.

I think I bricked my phone after I use ROM MANAGER.
I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU EXPLAIN VIA ODIN.
I see "detected" note but later comes "setup connection". And after this "setup connection" note I take the battery, unplug the usb cable. But at this time setup connection dissappears and comes "e-dll can not setup connection with the target" "killed timer" etc.,
Anyway, in spite of the notes, I reinsert the battery and plug the usb cable but nothing change...
I always failed.
If you help me I will be very very glad...

That worked for me when I had once bricked my phone
i also tell lyk tht 2 dat staff..
nd they jst told me to solved in 3days

Dont Panic Bro u Are Soft Bricked Nothing Serious Flash TWRP via Odin Then Flash Any custom rom otherwise Flash Stock firmware from odin in download Mode
