ROM Manager will not give you the latest CWM and CWM is ROM Dependent.
Next time download CWM appropriate to your Phone Model and Flash CWM using ODIN.

I think I bricked my phone after I use ROM MANAGER.
I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU EXPLAIN VIA ODIN.
I see "detected" note but later comes "setup connection". And after this "setup connection" note I take the battery, unplug the usb cable. But at this time setup connection dissappears and comes "e-dll can not setup connection with the target" "killed timer" etc.,
Anyway, in spite of the notes, I reinsert the battery and plug the usb cable but nothing change...
I always failed.
If you help me I will be very very glad...

just.....a big problem....aspire is right your phone is hard bricked...u must go to nearest service center to get your motherboard replaced.....

m using vol down+ center button+power button but i have been to service center and he said me to replace mother board _ thank btw
But I dont think my android needs a mother board to get changed_ I was working properly even after update_ but didnt worked out when i restarted it Isn't there any solution for it other than mother board ???

Dont Panic Bro u Are Soft Bricked Nothing Serious Flash TWRP via Odin Then Flash Any custom rom otherwise Flash Stock firmware from odin in download Mode
I recently unlocked my phone.
But it enter in to bootloop ...ive tried to flash the stock but the sp flash tool showing error 2004...i have tried with different ports and different cables & pc...thanks in advance
Guys i have solved the issue...it is due to improper installation of the driver...i have selected the wrong folder for driver updation..

If your are bricked it's your fault and flash with EDL mode doesn't reboot the phone automatically (you need to hold the power button for reboot) and Xiaomi warranty can repair your phone so calm down (Xiaomi repair my phone when I locked the bootloader of my phone after convertion)
@Candy_Pineapple Ty for taking the time to write this guide, but how about you post some screenshots of this along with your adapted guide from the A2 forum ? You cant just post something and say "it works" without giving us a proof. Also, is the MIUI10 based on Oreo or Pie ?

Hi, I'm new with Nubia phones, bevore I had Xiaomi. I bought myself the Nubia X. I love it. But now, I have a problem. I wanted to install Google Play. I found a guide, it's not my first smartphone I got rooted and customized. But every time, is the first time. I made a mistake, I don't know what went wrong but "Your device is curuppte! It can be trusted". Since two days I'm looking threw the net to find a solution. Nothing works, because the problem is when i enter the "fastboot mode" , it doesent matter what i choose, it goes diectly to "Your device is...". The only two things which are working is "Boot to edlload" and, of course "Power off".
When I connect the phone with my notebook, it doesn't get recognized. I tried to connect, with fone in "edlload" mode. Then it got recognized as some strange device, what i can only see in the device manager from Windows. Then i tried over edlload with adb and Nubia Emergency Toolkit to get it done. Both tool's are saying "No device found"
The only thing i found in one "How to", what I'm not able, was that i have to press Volume +/- and the power button together, so all three buttons together, for 15 sec, then it will enter in some mode, where i can recover it. I tried to get this done, but I'm not able to push all three at the same time for 15 sec...
Does someone here can help me? I am totally frustrated

Nubia X: ROOT, TWRP and GAPPS
Edit: once fixed and rooted DON'T UPDATE MAGISK!!! otherwise you will brick it again.

Hello, I am having this same problem. Please, what can I do? I have tried to install TWRP so that I can flash the stock image but nothing happens. The TWRP.exe file says successful but when I do Vol +/- Power , then Vol - Power to boot into fastboot so that i can now boot into recovery it just goes back to the same "device currupt screen." He can’t do that it’s not enough he need to reflash the devices partions maunally as recovery won’t boot I can fix but will have to guide step by step

I got it working. The trick is to boot into fastboot mode then select emergency recovery option. From here you can run the TWRP.exe to install TWRP. Once you have the custom recovery you can now flash any stock image zip file. Make sure to do a wipe first and the system should boot normally.

Hi, just messaged you minutes ago. I believe that's the solutions. I have tried to manually flash partitions on boot and recovery but the problem is I am unable to find the image files for other partition. Unzipped the stock rom but the system file doesn't look like flashable directly to me. I have downloaded Discord now, how can we get connected? Thanks in advance mate.

Hi Hans, I am having exactly the same issue. No matter what I chose (except for Emerg Recovery Mode / EDLoad / Power Off) my Nubia X will just show that warning and refuse to boot. This is very frustrating.

my name is Chris, I have the same issue but I run TWRP and get a line of code that says
FAILED remote flashing is not allowed in Lock State
What should I do? Have i missed something that I should be doing to complete this process?
