hi i'm start up this thread because the last one i posted ended up in the wrong section(in all phones>general)
is there a app that will enable the share function (icon represented by two arrows pointing away from each other at a 45' degree angle ) to have "save on disk" or "save on sdcard" option
if not can anyone create such an app. i would be very grateful
otherwise i have to email it to myself...apps like rage faces, stumbleupon have some interesting pictures that i would like to share offline

Hi.
I'm looking for a very simple (with small footprint) application to scribble small (immediate) notes with my finger (such as telephone numbers and names). WM Notes drawings come very crude and vsNotepad2 has smalish screen.
Please advice.

What do you mean by crude?
I installed this tweak and my finger drawings are great now It seems to straighten out and smooth the lines . I used the version without reduced sensitivity

I am looking for a very specific app to assist me with interviews. What I need is an app that can open a Word or Excel style template page. The page will have a list of questions and the space to fill in answers just like any normal paper application form.

Etc.
Now this bit is easy I have seen many app's that can do this, the next is the difficult bit,. I need the app to allow me to use a stylus to handwrite the answers in the fields. It does not need to recognise what I have written just save the page as I have annotated it with the handwritten answers. I can then open the template again and conduct the next interview.
Is there such an app out there? If not would anyone be interested in creating one? If this is a new idea then whoever wants it can use it. Thanks all.
Sounds like a good idea that can easily be accomplished using the Google App Inventor.
If I have a few spare cycles I'll see if I can throw it together.
Nice idea, would be a handy little app for many i'm sure.
Would be nice for it to have a "done and save" button so it auto went to the next form, and have an edit mode to edit the forms themselves (making it applicable for any survey, data collect use).
I'll have a look at the app maker today and see if a noob like me could knock something up (allthough its probably best left to those with experience).

EDIT: Oeer, think i may need to readup on the Appmaker for a week before i start ...Spose have to start somewhere. Consider me outof the dev picture for a mo ...allthough need any art/buttons i can help anytime xD
Hello all, long time lurker here.
I was wondering if there is any mod or app out there that lets me completely customize the Share Via menu. It's a totally handy feature other than the fact that a lot of the apps I want to use don't show up in that menu.
I've researched it and I've come to find out that; which apps show up in the share via menu are hard coded into each individual app, and in order for them to show up you would need to contact the developer to get him/her to add that feature.
Now, I'm wondering has anyone done anything to address this issue? I'm no programmer or anything, but I imagine it wouldn't be that difficult to be able to modify that menu extensively. There's and app out there call AndMade Share( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andmadesoft.share ) that allows you to be able to edit the menu somewhat, but it doesn't allow you to add apps. I'm thinking one could possibly just completely edit the share via file, and allow a user to be able to decide which apps open in the 'Share Via' menu according to file extension.
For example, if I wanted to Share a .jpg, I could customize the Share Via menu to include, Instagram, Gallery, Picshop, Photoshop Express, Photogrid, etc. Or if I wanted to open a .MP4 I could customize the share menu to include, Video Manager, Video Trimmer, Video Player, Rock Player, etc.
I feel as though I've over explained this, but whatever. Is there anything out there like this that exsists or am I just stuck hoping and wishing?

I made several notes with Huawei note default app. I've chosen to write notes with text and embeded photos.
Now, when I try to export each note, despite asking me to chose "as image" or "as text" it always exports as a 2feet long photo.
I would like to make a report using these notes, but this way I can't manage to do it.
Can you help me with this?

Well, not sure if you're referring to the same note app that came pre-installed on my P30....
In my case, I can choose to print the note and select "Save as PDF" as the printer

I can do the same (export to pdf), but I would like to be able to use pictures and text as I wish (copying and pasting at word document)

For that purpose, you might want to consider using Google Docs or Microsoft Words instead.

You can convert to PDF using Adobe Acrobat or any other converter

So there is this specific thing I need to accomplish. I searched and searched and couldn't find an app for it. Maybe I'm not phrasing it well in my searches? If someone can help guide me in the right direction that would be appreciated...
I need an app to help generate paragraphs from a form. For example I want to app to start with a form with the following drop down lists:
"Male" and "Female"
"Tall" and "Short"
Age ranging from "1" to "100"
Then after filling out the drop down boxes the app can generate a paragraph from a pre-set text eventually saying "A male who is 35 years old who is short" based on my selection.
