Annotatable form needed - Galaxy Tab Themes and Apps

I am looking for a very specific app to assist me with interviews. What I need is an app that can open a Word or Excel style template page. The page will have a list of questions and the space to fill in answers just like any normal paper application form.
Name:.........................................................................
Address :.....................................................................
..................................................................................
..................................................................................
Tel:................................................
Etc.
Now this bit is easy I have seen many app's that can do this, the next is the difficult bit,. I need the app to allow me to use a stylus to handwrite the answers in the fields. It does not need to recognise what I have written just save the page as I have annotated it with the handwritten answers. I can then open the template again and conduct the next interview.
Is there such an app out there? If not would anyone be interested in creating one? If this is a new idea then whoever wants it can use it. Thanks all.

Sounds like a good idea that can easily be accomplished using the Google App Inventor.
If I have a few spare cycles I'll see if I can throw it together.

Nice idea, would be a handy little app for many i'm sure.
Would be nice for it to have a "done and save" button so it auto went to the next form, and have an edit mode to edit the forms themselves (making it applicable for any survey, data collect use).
I'll have a look at the app maker today and see if a noob like me could knock something up (allthough its probably best left to those with experience).
Definately a good idea though ^^
EDIT: Oeer, think i may need to readup on the Appmaker for a week before i start ...Spose have to start somewhere. Consider me outof the dev picture for a mo ...allthough need any art/buttons i can help anytime xD

[App Request] Simple quiz app - PREPARED TO PAY

I want a quiz app to use as a revision aid. Here's what I want it to do...
The app will have two main functions... creating questions and then asking them.
For the creating questions part I just want a question box and an answer box, into which I can enter text
For the asking questions part I want the question to be displayed on screen and for the answer to be revealed when I click on a button. On the answer reveal screen there should be another button to move to the next question when I am ready to do so.
The questions need to come randomly, and not repeat until all questions have been asked.
I want to have multiple "categories" into which I can add questions. I also want the ability to test myself with questions from a specific category as well as from all categories.
I plan on using the app to learn drugs and their mechanism of action. I will create categories such as antibiotics and anti-hypertensives. Within each category I will add drugs that I need to know. Then when it comes to testing myself I will simply be presented with the drug name (question), think to myself what the answer is, then reveal the answer by clicking a button. Once I am satisfied I can then move to the next drug by clicking a button. By naming the boxes "questions" and answers" the app could be used to test anything and not just drug names.
I have looked for such an app on the Play Store and failed to find one that meets all these requirements. If anyone knows of one I would appreciate the help. Otherwise, could anyone help me by creating this app. Ideally it will be for free, but I am prepared to pay if needs be.
Bump... there must be some app developers around xda. Willing to pay.
Final bump and I'll give up. Sorry if you think I'm spamming. It's just threads like this move on from the first page so quick.
I can add it to my to-do list, but I can't guarantee a speedy ETA.

That would be much appreciated! Any help is better than no help! Thanks
I feel like a bit of an idiot but it turns out there's loads of apps that do this, lol. All I needed to do is search for flashcards. I didn't think of this before as it's not a British term really. Anyways, thank you.
It's fine. I'm Canadian so sometimes my slang confuses my friends.
I'll still develop it anyway for the practice. If there are any options you would like to see, feel free to message me!

Help with an App

I have a Note 3 from verizon, rooted.
I am looking to try to make a quick form App I can pull up, add some information to several text boxes, and then have like a save button where it can auto-save my notes to an organized text format for sharing.
I have ZERO experience with any sort of app building. I've tried the free sites but they don't offer what I need. I'm afraid I need a bit more customization. The App would only be for my private use. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as making an app, or having someone make an app for me?

[4.1+] Writeily Pro: Markdown Text Editor

Hey XDA,
Longtime lurker, but first time poster here. I just launched my new app, Writeily Pro, this past weekend, and I'd love it if you guys checked it out and gave me some feedback .
Here's the Play Store link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.writeily.pro
If you like it, I'd also appreciate the rating to help give the app exposure! Also, the app is open sourced on GitHub here:
https://github.com/jffrymrtn/writeily-pro
And last but not least, I intended originally to charge for the app and make it paid. But a lot of my past Writeily (the original one) users said they'd rather it be free, while some said they'd donate if they could. So, I set up a separate "donate" version of the app, which is identical to Writeily Pro (except it's red). I just thought I'd put it out here since I don't have a link to Donate in the app yet, so if any of you would like to help out, here it is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.writeily.donate
Let me know how it is! Thanks XDA
This is really neat, thanks! As much as I love Markdown, I'm wondering if adding other markup languages is planned (it might be out of scope if you consider Writeily a Markdown only app), such as reStructredText, which I find better than Markdown for longer documents?
The PIN setup needs improvement. No double entry to prevent typos?
When unlocking there is no mechanism to undo wrong entry. The only way is to hit enter and re try.
No scroll capability. Once the screen is full, it does not scroll up. Can't see what I typed!
Getting the same issue with the document not scrolling here. Don't get it on the non-pro version so perhaps it's something to do with the extra keyboard row.
It's a nice looking clean material app but would need Dropbox integration if it's going to make me switch from Draft which is my current editor.
Look forward to see where you go with it.

Thanks, but I'm talking about markup languages, not "spoken" languages.
Are you considering adding tags functionality? and filter with tags?
Thanks
it will be nice to make it that you can write note with stylus pen behind keyboard..
Writeily
just wanted to say thanks for the app & the hard work. I'm giving it a try. The reviews are great & can't wait to try it!

Thanks.
With tags, I could forget folders, or having to write a note in a specific folder or having to change it to a different one... I could even have two notes, with some tags in common and others not (impossible with folders).
Also, is it possible to do a bulk import/export and not just one txt file at a time?
Finally, about the added keyboard row (nice): it would be great if it were optional or hidden/unhiden with a swipe (it can take a lot of space on smaller screens, and sometimes you just don't really need it).
The preview function is awesome. Thanks for your app and work!
nice app,worth a try
thanks,
New update. Now I can scroll. Can I have the files sort by name? Please? Thank you
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
I have enjoyed using this app for many months, but was disheartened to see development discontinued. The timing is awkward: I just opened a GitHub account with intent to fork it once I learn my way around. On my hard drive, I've added many of the extra features I've long been waiting for: Tables, highlighting, LaTeX Math through MathJax, etc. But I'm not yet confident that I can use GitHub proficiently, since I've only signed up an account just a week ago.
Any suggestions how I should begin rebooting its development?

[Completed] How to Install apk to a folder with maximum size constrictions?

Hi Everyone,
I'd like to install an apk to a folder on my SD which will limit the potential size that the apk will grow to. Any advice? Appreciated !
I first thought of creating a separate partition on the SDcard to install the apk to, but I'd like to do that without formatting (wiping the SDcard)?

Good luck
Thank you, I'm finding my way about the site.
Unrelated: I was in a website the other day and noticed they have some really nice layout buttons for responding. What do you think? (Screenshot attached).
I thought they'd look pretty nifty on XDA.

They look similar to the XDA buttons (I use the 2013 theme). Buttons are buttons to me, as long as they're in the right spot I'm happy.
What do you use the 2013 theme for, do you have a website I can check out?
I just mention the design as I found the buttons on XDA a little confusing at first and some other members, well one, (in particular) said that I had quoted too long or something like that.
So I was just wondering about it and I noticed this little layout when I was on another website. I just thought I'd mention it. It looks quite nice and self explanatory. As a new member I found the respond buttons a little bit confusing. Would you be kind enough to explain to me what the button that looks like a one of a pair of speech marks is for exactly (I say one of a pair, as in the UK we use double quotation marks). When one uses the reply button and the auto quote goes into the field, do you then have to then just delete that each time, or is there a way around that?
I'm just wondering.
I was also wondering, you might be able to give me some advice on the best way to respond on these forums. Is there an app that you can suggest that would be particularly good for responding on XDA and other forums in general?
I tried Tapatalk once before and found it glitchy, like it had its own agenda and wanted to wiz me around all over the net instead of being functional.

If you scroll down to the bottom of any page here you'll find a bar on the left that says "XDA 2015". If you click that there's a drop down menu that brings up all the themes you can use. I use the XDA 2013 beta because I think that has the cleanest layout.
The speech marks always refer to quoting a post which is what I just did now. You can edit what your quoting and delete parts out of it. Just play around with the editor and you'll get it. As for an app, try XDA labs. You can click the banner in my signature to go to that thread.
Great, Thank you Art Vanderlay. Got it!

I've had a look in the "groups" section. There doesn't appear to be all that much activity in there (at least in the groups I looked at).
Can you suggest a good group, or place (area) for hanging out and perhaps learning a bit more about Android, app making and what's going on @ the scene as a whole?

Is there an app for this?

Hi guys
So there is this specific thing I need to accomplish. I searched and searched and couldn't find an app for it. Maybe I'm not phrasing it well in my searches? If someone can help guide me in the right direction that would be appreciated...
I need an app to help generate paragraphs from a form. For example I want to app to start with a form with the following drop down lists:
"Male" and "Female"
"Tall" and "Short"
Age ranging from "1" to "100"
Then after filling out the drop down boxes the app can generate a paragraph from a pre-set text eventually saying "A male who is 35 years old who is short" based on my selection.
Thanks in advance and have a great day!
Alternatives that I can think of:
Do this with Excel/Google Sheets
Create HTML page and open it in browser
Create flow with Automate
