me problem is my galaxy s 2.3.6 rom
usb mode.
first usb cable....charges...but usb mode not recognized.
second usb cable....charges...recognized usb....connects and just closes.
well that sums it all up.
i just want to have a usb mode back.
and can anyone clarify if you can flash is you don't have usb mode..
if usb mode cannot be fixed atleast i want to be able to flash..

u simply put ur fon in download mode by presing down vol+home key+power btn and connect it to pc through ur usb cables. chek in device manager that ur fon has been added as new com port and also verify it by odin. if ur fon is recognized by odin then ur usb cables and fon is working fine.

im just afraid that i my DOWNLOAD MODE will be affected by the USB MODE error..

thnx for increasing my thanks meter, download mode cant be affected by any software. Its built-in facility to recover your from all kind of rom failures, personaly i tested this when i destroy my rom and boot loader too and my fon is jst showing samsung popular pc-phone

thank you for your help sir.
i've just fixed my usb port.
i poke cleaned it with a needle and it sparked and shut down.
thought it was broken but then i restarted and usb mode is recognized.
hope i can flash again soon.
do you know a CWM KERNEL for a 2.3.6 android version?
i only know how to flash rom using ODIN not CWM so i dont know which CWM i need to flash an ICS rom.
ok flash any rooted kernel, like semaphore through odin. download and put ics rom zip file to your sdcard, goto cwm recovery by pressing vol up+menu+power then select install zip from sdcard then browse ics rom zip n press ok

8. When your phone ready to flash(in bootloader screen) then klik start flash and choose OK
9. Wait the proccess till there is a twice done(see the pic), click Boot Phone Up
10. Thats it! you may exit

USB mode not working
i flashed my Fire xt 530 with Ice_Cream_Jelly-V2 by aweosomeabhijeet. And now when i'm trying to flash any other ROM the phn is not being detected by my Computer. Its only getting charged when m connecting it with the PC. USB debugging or even Mass storages also does not work. Pls help....:crying:

AS per ur instructions i did the same...flash spain rom root then cwm installed..then when i open MHF there is no starting adb server and then when i press bootloader mode nothing happens...i even pressd camera button+vol down+power please help...

Download MOTOROLA DEVICE MANAGER first, install it on your pc. then please retry.
I try to upgrade to Jelly Bean Mini Project and successfully but after reboot only logo CM10 display continuously and can no longer be in recovery with CWM or update / Repair via PC Companion, I try to flash again but always fails because USB Debugging Off, "how to enable USB Debugging..?" ... Could you provide us with a little bit more information? Because I don't fully understand your question... So you are in a bootloop, and you can't recover with CWM?
And you say you can't flash because off USB debugging off? That isn't correct. Androxyde's flashtool works even for devices without USB debugging on!
And you can always try Sony Update Service. Perhaps that'll work.
Please give a little bit more information, so we can help you out! What have you tried? What is the problem with Flashtool? et cetera, et cetera...

Sorry Senior new opportunity to reply ... Yes I'm in bootloop, and can not go in CWM because when I upgraded to JBMP (Jelly Bean Mini Project) via CWM I use format system.
I try again with flashtool v0.9.11.0 flah but never finish only and appear "- Device connected with USB debugging off
- For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode "
and I use "SUS" but did not success and the message "The phone contains modified software that can not be updated"

I got a problem with my device
I can`t turn it on anymore, when I hook it up with USB plug into ( PC ) or ( Power Adapter ) I got the following screen :

so I thought its not charged.
But then I left it to charge full ( 3 - 4 hours or maybe more ) but when I turn it on the welcome screen shows and stucked forever like following :
I tried to reset the factory and data and cache and everything inside BOOT list ( into "Power + Voulme up " menu ) but nothing happen too and the welcome screen still keep stucking .
What can I do ?
Some people told me I should put a new ROM/Software into it
But what is true ? and where is the problem ?

I can't see any of the pictures you have put in your post. Have you tried reflashing your current rom onto your Note 10.1 with Odin? That usually fixes problems like this and it lets you keep your data.

1. Find the firmware for your device base on it's model number: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
2. Download Odin onto your computer and run it.
3. Get your tablet and when it's turning on, hold the power button and volume down button until you get to the warning screen.
4. Press volume up to continue to download mode and plug your tablet into your computer via USB
5. On your computer, make sure Odin says "Added!". Load the firmware as a PDA into odin and press "Start". Do not unplug your tablet until the process has finish.
6. Android should begin to update and once that's done you should be good to go.

But you have to check and tell me whether it is showing pendrive in otg or not.
Things u need
YU Yuphoria of course.
Root
Twrp I will tell u how to flash twrp if not done.
USB otg cable
And pendrive
So let's start
First go into settings->advanced settings->check advanced reboot.
Now press the power button select reboot->recovery
Now ur phone will boot into recovery go to install zip from sdcard .
While in sdcard select the location click on storage and you will see three options
1.Internal
2.external
3.usb otg.
Thats it guys
Please check and tell me if connecting otg shows pendrive or not.

go into developer options then tick advance reboot
I searched about this on internet and found that
yuphoria now comes with android 5.1 AOSP
not CyanogenMod
so there's no advance reboot in developer options for recovery simply turn off your device and press volume down+ power button

In TWRP recovery it shows the usbotg option but not able use my pen drive

Buddy I have tried twrp 2.8.6 and it only shows that twrp has the OTG option but it doesn't recognise it when I connect my pendrive. So if you can Please suggest a working method. ....

i did this ! but my phone wont able to do that because phone dont get charge !

I had exactly the same experience when attempting to update to 6.0, however my device (TL-10) could charge. You have to get it into fastboot mode. The screen looks very similar to that one (I can't remember the exact button combination, but I think it was Vol+ and power. Then you need to flash stock recovery (if you don't have it already) through ADB commands on your PC.
After that it's merely downloading the correct (full) package and installing it with the aforementioned three-button reset.

It's a difficult question to ask. If your device still had a decent charge remaining before it crashed and burned you might still want to try to push the wipe / update, regardless of whether it's charging or not.
By the way, there won't be any charging indicators whilst in fastboot / rescue mode, the device will simply just stay on (and warm up a bit).
