[Q] Can we flash froyo or gingerberad basebands from CWM? - LG Optimus 3D

Hi, I was thinking about switching from a froyo-based to a gingerbread-based ROM, but I first have to flash a GB baseband through LGFlash Tool.
In order to make easier to switch froyo/gb and vice-versa, can anyone make a flashable .zip file for CWM which installs froyo/gingerbread baseband?

No sorry. Only way is through computer.

What rom did you flash? I mean I understand it is gingerbread but was it the stock one .kdz files or was it a custom rom? plus if it was custom rom did you first install the baseband as it was instructed in the rom's OP ( think all roms op have the advice about flashing baseband before installing rom if you are coming directly from Froyo). Which kind of model do you have? Is it a p920 or a p925? More info is required in order to get some help... Anyway look on the guide about flashing .kdz files and use that to return to Froyo or flash gingerbread as a KDZ which installs baseband automatically. PS if your failed install is cyanogenmod don't return to froyo this way. There is a guide on how to revert to froyo from cyanogenmod somewhere...

ohhh. ok first of all you needed to flash the baseband first. there should be directions as to how to do that in kng3d thread along with link to the baseband. second I am not sure if the rom will work as it is supposed to seeing it is made for p920 and not thrill. Still it may. I havent done any research over the matter though. May have connection isues. But flashing baseband is essential for gb to work. Maybe at the thrill forums they have more info. Try looking there first.

flashing back to froyo baseband

i want to flash back to the froyo baseband to flash the newline v3 rom but i can't get it done...
i treid the 2 diffrent options they give on the forum but these don't work for me.
does somebody know another way to get the froyo baseband??
Just flash one of the official froyo ROMs and it comes with the baseband, then root it, CWM it and install over the top
Its what I had to do when not being able to get just the baseband to flash
If you are flashing from GB back to froyo then you can't do it w/o first flashing to stock froyo via lgtool.
Step 1

Dont bother with the cable since the standard cable which comes with O3D is fine.
Step 2
Root the phone and install CW
Step 3
Boot in recovery do all the wipes and install the acura v3 froyo...
i treid it like the link tells me but that doesn't work for me.

What you need is:
-Download kdz v10x Rom (Latest one suffers from rebooting issue when setting wifi sleep policy to never).
- Flash it using adixstra tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1287236
And do not forget to apply this tutorial in order to get it flashing:

Note: If you got a bootloop after flashing back to froyo, just turn off the device, boot into recovery and wipe data.
You can download all official kdz files from here:

Here is an easy guide for flashing:

KDZ UNbrick - Phone was not founded

Hello, my phone boots into CWM always. I tried to do KDZ way to make it stock rom (V21e and V21y). It cannot find the phone. When I install CWM from oneclickrecovery to install rom zip file from my sd card it still boots to the CWM. What can I do for that ?
thank you.
Try this. It's not gonna make it stock but it should work. I think for kdz you should have stock recovery? Not sure about that one.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523 that thing is working, thank you very much, and it is not making phone stock. You can flash whatever you want to flash, but I guess in order to flash ics we need to flash a GB rom first if we came froma 2.2 or cwm boot loop.

[Q] Restoring stock recovery via adb

Hi,
We have a big trouble with my friend's Optimus 3D. We had flashed cwm after that we flashed pacman 4.2.2 afterall it doesnt recognize internal sdcard and we dont have external one. I would like to flash it to stock ics but the debug mode doesnt work properly so lg's update software gives an error while looking for phone's environment. But i realised that i can control the phone through adb while cwm recovery is open. Is there anyway to flash stock recovery via adb? If yes where can i find the stock recovery?
Thank you
Not sure if you can do that by ADB, maybe so. But, there is a flashable ICS .zip here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39130435
You'll need to do 1-3, if you can borrow a micro sd, and if cwm sees it.
Another option is to flash ICS via LG Flash Tool. Drivers are unsigned, so setup is fiddly. But once you do that it's easy as pie. If you do 1-3 here you will have stock ICS, but rooted with custom recovery:

If you can ask at bernie's Pacman thread,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38428702
I think you need another version of Pacman, can't remember; I have not messed with JB because I want to keep 3D function.

Stock ROM INT2EXT4

Can the INT2EXT4 script work with the stock ROM 2.3.5?
Also I need a link to download that ROM or the latest, I need the 'img' files to flash them from Linux, I don't have Windows to run the RUU exe file.
Currently I have the CWM and CM10.1, so flashing system.img only is enough or do I have to flash radio, recovery and boot images too?
Thanks.

cronmod needs to work with cyano, I don't know the technical info but it is impossible with the stock rom. I guess you need all the files for the ROM but I can't provide them since my internet is too slow.
