So I'm having more and more corporate sync issues recently. It began with the 2.3.6 ota update and continued after I installed lfaber's rom. I am update 2 of his rom.
Here the case:
1. I receive an email. (In this example, i know it was from an iPad.)
2. It shows up in my inbox like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. I open said email.
4. It opens to this:
5. I download the htm file.
6. The htm file looks like this:
Now for what I've done to attempt to fix it:
Delete account, add account.
Clear cache, clear dalvik cache.

Is there txt supposed to be in the email? Is the HTML file supposed to be there?

How to install:
Make sure you have "install from unknown sources" checked on settings.
Different methods
A) Download to PC, then upload to dropbox, and download to phone.
B) Use ADB:
Code:
adb install -r com.android.vending-1.apk
C) Mount USB to computer, dragg .apk file to sd card. Unmount, use a file manager and install.
Enjoy!
Thanks.

Is the Movies section on this? I installed the new Market a few days ago and it doesn't have the Movies section included...
Just installed this... Haven't rebooted yet, but so far it seems to run very slowly... Getting 'not responding' messages nearly every time I touch the screen. Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon, because I sort of like the idea of book and movie downloads.
Edit: Just gave it a minute, it's running faster now, but I don't see a movies section on this one either... Bummer.
Edit: It seems that movies section doesn't show if you have a rooted device - see the outpouring of rage here.
Nope not true.. I'm rooted and the movie sections shows up and works fine.
Locked & Loaded
I downloaded it, installed, and can't get on. It has a instant force close. Any ideas?
Wipe data in app manger. Then boot into recovery and wipe cache and davlik-cache and try it again.

Ready to do some Friday afternoon tinkering? How does the new Gmail 4.2 sound? New Gmail is v4.2, which includes pinch-to-zoom in emails along with a new swipe-to-delete/archive feature. They may sound like small improvements, but they are all things that you will quickly realize that you can no longer live without.
So in order to use this, you have to have root, because you are going to be moving around some system level files. You can try to do this all in adb, but I am still not even sure that that is possible. If you are brave enough to dive into this, let’s do it. It should take all of 5 minutes.
DOWNLOADS : GMAIL2.APK [MIRROR]
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the Gmail2.apk from above and place it on your internal storage.
2. Create a nandroid backup, just to be safe.
3. Once your phone has rebooted, delete or move any Gmail.apk on your device.
*You’ll need to look in /system/app for Gmail.apk and /data/app for com.google.android.gm-1.apk.
4. Once moved/deleted, you should reboot your phone.
5. Once rebooted, you can try simply installing Gmail2.apk on your phone.
6. If that doesn’t work, put the file in your SDK/Platform-Tools folder and type this in adb:
adb install Gmail2.apk
7. You should now have the new Gmail 4.2 up and running.
*Note – Depending on the ROM, there may be Gmail .odex files that will need to be deleted as well.
Confirm to work like a charm on my gtp6800

So, I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 running a CM11 Android 4.4.4 Nightly, and I got errors while attempting to install the Gapps package.
And, I didn't even want Gapps! I only wanted Play Store, like many of you reading this. So, this was what I did.
1) Download the zip file below. All of the apk files were taken from the latest PA-Gapps package for 4.4.4 .
2)Extract the files to your device, put them on some folder.
3)Use a root explorer (like CM File Manager, which comes with CyanogenMod), and copy the 4 apk files to /system/priv-app
4)Now set the permissions. (You can do it via the terminal, set the permissions to 644, but this is easier). All files must be set like this.

5)Finally, reboot. Open Play Store. Ta-da

Doesn't work for me. For some reason, I haven't been able to flash ANY Gapps.
That's weird
Update: fastbooted the rom and my issues were resolved. Had to root with cwm.
The official release of MIUI7 on the MiPad was today. I flashed it.
to date issues I'm having:
The lockscreen doesn't want to open. I have to open by pulling down the status bar and selecting settings.
I can't get google play to recognize me. I've done everything suggested everywhere.. wiping data, cache, trying to update .apks, rebooting, blah, blah, blah...... won't work.
Can't get it to root...
I can't get the local backup to make a backup, but it did let me restore a backup I had made with an sMIUI rom.
One of the new features is locked apps won't show up in the recent apps screen. Well, not for me. I locked my email and tested it. Still shows up in recent apps. grrrr.
I did flash TWRP without issues.
so anyway, the music interface looks good. Too bad it's all in chinese....
I'm going back to cMiui7 5.8.10.

and no security center or theme manager (just wallpaper), for those wondering... surprise.. surprise... surprise!
If anyone wants to try it, I uploaded the rom to devhost.

antutu and deskclock.apk
I have attached the deskclock.apk file for anyone that's interested. It contains an alarm, stop watch, and timer. Use at your own risk.
For everyone having problems with notification specifically whatsapp and facebook make sure that (GCM service) not disabled and that service known as (google cloud messages ) this service is the one responsible for pushing notifications for apps like whatsapp,facebook,gmail ect..
IMPORTANT..... ((DONT restor apps from Titanium Backup this will solve the problem)) if it doesnt work try following these steps:
1- make sure the app u want to get notifications from is not disabled from autorun in smart manager
2- download this app from playstore DisableService: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
to make sure the (GCM service) is working

sys.config.spcm_gcm_kill_enable=true
change it from true to false save and reboot
4- if the problem still exist change all the 4 lines from true to false save and reboot
5-if the 4 steps doesnt work repeat all steps and uninstall whats app and install it as a system app extract this folder and put it in system/app set the correct permissions and reboot
