Selling my mytouch - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260966915456?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
I'm selling my mytouch 4g slide if anyone wants it just bid. I'm happy with my newest phone.

In case anyone here wants to bid - what version of hboot and software version is it on?

You should try selling it to an active member of the CyanogenMod team.
Delivered via candygram for Mr. Mongo.

I personaly would never purchase an electronic used that I can't test hands on before purchase.

I take extremely good care of my phones so I understand the logic but I'm slightly offended.

If you need to return to stock we have full ability to do so all the way back to S-ON. I would wait on that to see what the new owner would want to do, since S-OFF is currently not possible if S-ON from the most recent software update.
It being S-OFF capable is an asset to anyone who wants to mod it that you could lose by updating the software and going S-ON, but you have options depending on what the buyer wants.

Neither would I, no need to be offended, some of us are a little paranoid. Plus what if I buy something this expensive and doesn't work as expected?
Also I actually trust people on XDA more than anywhere else.

Fyi I think posting eBay links is against rules.
On the other hand I have different fingers.. but seriously I think it wouldn't hurt to ask Blahbl4h if he's interested in purchasing it as he has shown much interest in our device of late.
Just my spare change.

Is a sensation for 180 a good deal ?

Hello sensation

So yes another one of these threads. I'm not bashing on the g2x at all it is a great phone... However since I upgraded to it and had hardware issues software issues even after the gb update I did what any upset customer would do. Called tmobile and complained then filed a bbb complaint after recieving 4 replacement phones. They then responded by offering me the sensation. YES it was worth it. This phone imo is truely better it functions flawlessly no lag no dropped signal no WiFi issues and great data connections.
So if any of you are in the process of deciding to keep or swap. Take my word for it and just get rid of your headache and get the sensation. It's 100% worth it.
Best decision made so far regarding phones.
And yes I know this is one giant run-on my phone typing and grammar skills with autocorrect and the new keyboard is a little shakey.
Thanks!

Thought that too, it will be CM something. But why would you want a stock ICS when, when it drops, they will be tearing it apart and hand it out like candy for us to play with, way b4 tmo sends it....if ever.

The video of ICS posted by the ebayer looked horrible, the new launcher news even more work before ICS drops officially. I just hope that they're still working on the new UI, cause they haven't really done anything major in my book.
The main aim of Ice Cream Sandwich is the unification of phone and tablet UIs so as to provide a standardized ecosystem.
There is every possibility that all manufacture will try to provide an ICS update.
Let's hope T-Mobile will launch an ICS update to MT4G (may be with sense 3.0 or greater)
But, for the time being lets watch for CyanogenMod..........
That looks really cool! Thanks for sharing, I hadn't seem that yet

[Q] any news on ics coming to U.S for T mobile?

Hello all, I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable people had any news of I.C.S coming to the US , via T Mobile? There is so much speculation on this, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this subject? I contacted T Mobile representive and she did not know what I was talking about.....then she said oooh that will be months away! I hope she's wrong! Months away? Really, what is your understanding on this subject? I will appreciate any input or opinions, thank you

I was waiting for this: I think every carrier should have its own "When is ICS coming to my Sensation OTA?" thread.
That said, the information you got is typically non-informative. I remember struggling to explain what a software update was to one of the reps. Now, of course, I realize that they simply don't have an answer and, per posts to be found elsewhere (Search!) say "in a month or two" as a basic TMO CYA policy.

Thank you for the tip.
Honestly I'm glad T-Mobile decided to delay the update. For some reason HTC now thinks it's acceptable to turn on your WiFi and/or Mobile Network whenever they damn well please. Apparently it takes a carrier to change their mind.
Hopefully it's a quality update when released!

There's no way that's an official Tmobile statement. Did you see the terrible grammar and run-on sentences? That person has a junior high education at most. An actual press release would be much better formulated.
I'm guessing that "update" was copied and pasted directly from a thread here at XDA.

Do you normally leave them on? If so then you're immune. This is a well documented issue with every ROM using the latest bases from HTC. Just read a few pages of any ROM thread using the base. Turning off auto-sync mostly eliminates the issue but it's a serious pain.
Regardless of workarounds, I find it utterly unacceptable for my phone to turn on its own data connection without me telling it to. I'm sure T-Mobile feels the same way. Imagine the support calls and troubleshooting nightmares.

No WiFi problems for me on arhd ics. As for the update, I really think T-Mobile is going to release it after the one debuts. They don't want to cannibalize one sales.

LG/Huawei makes low end phones so the phones they have on here either have to be popular and or high end smart phones. Still dont see the point of this. If HTC has built and developed the Sense UI, which they own. How are they not in their own to protect their own product? I am not saying I agree with HTC. But they will just blow off any remarks or such left for them in their twitter feed.

If there is a larger volume of people on them about this it may at least get then to give us a response as to why and possibly cause them to back off. This isn't about aosp that's clear because the OEMS are obligated to release their kernel source and Google has no issues with their ROMs.
But this could affect Sony, Samsung, lg, and anyone else after they see we can be pushed over so easily their generosity may come to a screeching halt. People like mohan and seanz could end up on the receiving end of lawsuits if this slides. Our options for roms other than aosp could become stock only. I know you guys aren't so short sighted to think this couldn't affect us in detrimental ways.

Rooting my old Inspire was insane. Gold card and all. The skyrocket was a walk in the park in comparison.

I forgot about that! Rooting my htc made rooting my kindle look easy.
Anyway- if someone wants to start a petition... I will sign it.

Buy SONY...
They release guides in their own forum for rooting & flashing, and support cm devs.
