V20C Root OK!
Thanks DAN!

another mexican 20A rooted with this procedure.
thanks for the tip and the effort.

That's good but does it solve the Ghost call issue?

well as far as i know, the ghost calls came from the baseband of the v21A firmware and the other firmwares has a "new" baseband, so if you flash v20a, b, c or any firmware, i suposse what with the new baseband u will not have ghost calls
i have instaled v20a and till now i have no ghost calls

It worked! Finally, no need to flash my phone down to V21a.
Thanks Dan! Your so great!!!!!

Does this work on the regular milestone?
Universal Androot is better. You don't need PC. just install the APK and tab the "Root" button. after 10 seconds, the phone is rooted.
and also have unroot function in case if you need to run System Update.
but universal not support the 2.2.1
Thank you. This works great.
A fair question. Do you get a broken lock icon after, 'yes or no' after the procedure when you reboot the phone?

Earlier in the thread someone said to use Universal Androot and then someone else said that it wouldn't work on 2.2. I use it all the time and I am on Khal's Epicbluesteel 2.2 ROM. It is very convenient when say you have to take your phone into the carrier. I have unrooted with it, deleted the Superuser.apk, taken my phone in and once done, I re-rooted in the parking lot. I used it on 2.1 the first day I got my phone. In fact I have never used Superoneclick.

All of the custom ROMs are already rooted? UniversalAndroot shouldn't work if you start from a stock 2.2.1 (the only stock one we have is the Motoroi 2.2.1). Anyway, I've never tried unrooting a 2.2.1 ROM and then using UniversalAndroot, have you tried that? After flashing the Korean sbf I've always used the same exploit used in SuperOneClick (manually though), because UniversalAndroot wasn't supposed to work on 2.2.1, but now that I'm thinking about it, if it's a kernel exploit it possibly does still work there because Motorola shipped Motoroi's 2.2.1 with eclair's kernel...

Yep, worked for me. Had to do it once or twice while on Kahl's personared and then on Epicbluesteel. Was able to unroot, fix the problem (ie CBW issues) and then reroot with it. Maybe my phone is an anomoly and I should try cm7.

[GUIDE] Safe & Easy Root & Fix mobile data warning on Huawei Ascend P1

Hello.
On most Huawei devices there is a warning message when the device losses WiFi connection and connecting to 2g/3g displaying a pop-up:
"Continuing Internet access will lead to trafic. Continue? [ok] [cancel]"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The problem is that until you click ok on that warning, you are not connected to mobile data network, which can be a real pain if you switch often from wifi or forget to click ok when you ex. go out of your house and out of wifi range.
Many people have complained, and there is not much info on the web, so I tried to safely root my Ascend P1 without using custom kernels or flashing, cwm etc..., and found an easy buildprop fix.
So this is how I did it on Huawei Ascend P1 (U9200) running B100 firmware (Croatian Vipnet version) - 4.0.3 ICS but it should work on any ICS P1.
1. Download drivers from HuaweiDevice site & install them.
2. On your phone, turn on usb debugging & install non market apps.
3. Turn off Fast boot, then restart.
4.Download and unzip Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18 from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
5.Connect your P1 to PC and check in My Computer -> Device Manager if there is An ADB interface without any warnings
6. Startup Root_with_Restore and follow on screen instructions to root your device (use normal mode) -> more info on the Bin4ry thread.
7. Check if you are rooted, download Root Check from Google Play, if so, update SuperUser (optional)
For data warning fix:
8. Download BuildProp editor from Google Play, allow it root access
9. Find
Code:
ro.config.hw_RemindWifiToPdp
set it to false, or 0.
10. Restart. That's it! Check if its working - connect to wifi, then disconnect wifi and it should connect to mobile data without warning.
(i had to set it to false 2 times, and restart twice, if it doesn't work for the first time)
Root should work ony any 4.0.3. P1, maybe even 4.1 beta. ro.config.hw_RemindWifiToPdp edit should work on any huawei rooted device.
This methode is very safe, but I have to mention, if not careful,... I am not responsible.
Thanks to Bin4ry for awsome, fast and easy root! Feedback is welcome! Hope this helps!
Hey Mirza, I have also p1 from vipnet but i didn't made a backup of that firmware. Could you please make a backup of that b100 firmware and share the download?

Well, as I only did root, I have no CWM recovery, so I can't make a backup, and CWM's for Huawei P1 aren't too good.
Is there a way to backup huawei rom, but not trough cwm, it would be nice to have roms like Huawei provides on their website, one file "update.app, just download it, put it on a sd card, restart, and install, don't even have to go to recovery, it starts automaticaly... I did that with my Huawei tablet and it works awsome - all stock. But there is no rom to download from Huawei except B226 4.03 from 2012-10-27.
Worked fine here. Both rooting and wifi alert fix.
I am running b102.
Thanks very much for this guide!

One thing though!
I only managed to suceed, after doing the process with no memory card on the phone.
Many thanks for this guide!
Tried to root it using this method. Everything went smoothly, rebooted it and the phone is incredibly slow and laggy and pretty much unusable. Currently backing up using the Huawei Windows application so I can restore the device.
Any idea what went wrong?

Will this work on ZTE V793 ?
You can try.
Mainly poot allowed the root and superusers lets you give permission.
Im hoping this will allow roms to start being build and a chance of unlocking the nvm folder.

Recovery Image
Hey everyone I'm smartmanvartan... you can usually find me on AF. The N850 has just been released here in Canada with ICS! I don't want to buy this phone per-say but I have a N860 and they are very similar. this could help us Warp users finally get ICS and the same goes for you Fury users. Now I have a friend at Public Mobile(the carrier releasing the N850) that will let me grab a system dump from a new phone but I can't root it or flash recovery. But if someone can pull their stock recovery and post it up, I can make a CWM recovery or at the very least a adb enabled stock recovery and then BOOT into it without flashing it by using the fastboot boot command. Once I have a system dump and or a CWM recovery, I will post it up here as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might want to look into the mobile uncle apk.. its the go to app for china phones and since the v793 seems to be just that it may work for you. it is capable of rooting and flashing recovery... in the other thread for your phone, there is mention of a modified cwm from the zte blade. try getting the image in question and use the mobile uncle tool to flash it. the mobile uncle tool is available on google play...
Hi guys, will this work on a ZTE N850 that runs off Android 4.0.4?? Does it matter?

Same here... i've been trying on a US model of the N850 and it always freezes.. I've been reading around and I found some people saying that it is ministro version 9.5 and up that doesn't play well with poot.. but even with an older version of the ministro app, i have had no success...
I have a US ZTE N850 that I couldn't root. Tried everything. I gave up on it for a few months, then I guess either poot or Ministro updated themselves. I got a warning from Google Play that poot was dangerous and I should uninstall. So naturally I ignored it and ran it and this time it worked. Ministro II v9.5 if that helps.
I'm still stuck with the gingerbread os, but having superuser makes it a lot
more usable device. If any of you had poot freeze on you before, I suggest you
update Ministro and poot and give it another go.

Rooting LG Optimus F3 - Virgin Mobile (Mac Users)

[STORY TO ROOTING MY DEVICE AND 2 ISSUES THAT I ENCOUNTERED]
I got my LG Optimus F3 last week and searching everywhere on the internet to know how to root my device, I did not find anything but only how to root other devices that are LG Optimus. I posted on here XDA Developers and richardpwnsner recommended Motochopper. I tried using it on a Windows it failed, maybe because I followed steps that were for a LG Optimus F5 but it caused some glitches on my phone so I had to factory reset my device.
Rooting device using Windows http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334544 What I first followed.
I tried it on my mac on Friday (August 25th, 2013). I have rooted my device successfully and these 3 days I did not have any issues but two.
*My main issue on android* I had only one issue when trying to change my Superuser by CLOCKWORKMOD since I was accustomed to Superuser by CHAINSDD on my old device (Kyocera Event). The binary did not want to update. I tried SuperSU by CHAINFIRE same issue occured. I sticked to the original Superuser that was installed and the features are much better and no issues, binary did update on it.
*My other issue on my Mac but totally worth it* I rooted my phone using my mac, when I downloaded Motochopper, I unzipped the file and opened the file's folder and it froze my computer, I attempted other times and it kept freezing my computer. I believe it is due to my virus scanner (Kaspersky) due to it freezing/crashing my mac anytime there is a (.exe) file but not 100% sure. So take your risk as I really don't give a c**p and accomplished my goal.
[STEPS TO ROOTING]
I rooted my device by following these steps and I take no credit for anything of this, I'm just sharing information from othersand I'm not responsible for anything that occurs to any of your devices and have no experience on this so don't be asking me questions since I'm no developer just someone who truly loves the concept of rooting. The steps that I followed were by how to root a Samsung Galaxy S3.
Step 1: Download Motochopper from anywhere you like here are some posts that have the file:
http://http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/15208-root-motochopper-yet-another-android-root-exploit-412/ Author of this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334544
Make sure when you download the file unzip the file to your desktop.
Step 2: Enable USB Debugging is Enabled (Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging)
Step 3: Make sure you have a password on your Mac.
Step 4: Connect your device having it on and USB Debugging Enabled
Step 5: Open Terminal Window and type in each of the following commands in ordered by pressing Enter one after the other.
- cd Desktop
- cd motochopper
- chmod 755*
- sudo sh run.sh (After this it will ask for your password, input your password it looks like this)

Alternative solution
Motochopper didn't work on my VM Optimus F3 so I used saferoot instead. Beware, if you downloaded the latest firmware update, you need to flash to stock ROM. I used LGflash for that.
I also have been trying to root my f3. I got it about a week ago and cannot find software to work. I had all the drivers installed from the Lg website amd tried saferoot amd motochopper to no avail. Ive also tried towelroot amd framaroot as on device roots and got no results. When i used framaroot i got neither an error message nor a confirmed root message. The app seemed to force close amd it returned me to my home screen... any suggestions? Its a VM device btw
Try using the phones web browser to download and install stump root. Stump roots gui should say press grind to continue followed by a popup window that says your device is not natively supported. Click force root. After its done running download supersu by chainsfire from the app store and press normal when it asks to be updated. You should then be rooted.

Lg Leon Root problem

Hello, first I want to say sorry for my english, it's not perfect but I keep practising...
I need some help with rooting my LG leon (Vodafone distribution LG-H340n). I have tried LG root method and LG one click root, King Root but it's not working. King Root has no method to root this device as it says. One click root (version 1.2) stops when it reach command to unzip SuperSU archive, version 1.3 does everything okay but when it finishes mobile phone is not rooted... And finally LG root connects to phone, with adb command transfers files to root into phone but when I have restarted the phone and turned it on with download mode and tried to communicate on port COM3 (as it says in ports.bat) all is okay but when I wrote command to work with SuperSU archive it does nothing. Even if I try cd sdcard command and then ls command it stays in the default directory.... Info about phone: Android 5.0.1, version of core: 3.10.49, version of software: V10e-EUR-XX. Thanks for any reply!

I don't understand your english well It's hard to read all the shortcuts like d = the, abt = about... It makes the text chaotic and it's hard to understant what do you mean. But when I'm trying to get iRoot my ESET antivirus tells me that it contains trojan and etc. Do you have some safe and tested links for me? Would you mind writing in literary language? It should be more understandable for me, because I'm lame Thanks!
