Keep your hands dry as moisture on the screen causes something similar. Maybe a matte finish screen guard might solve your problem, but I am not sure about it.

Exactly, I've noticed the same. When fingers are a bit wet screen goes crazy, but it's a normal behavior I guess

What you guys need to understand is that phones like the iPhone and galaxy r are not touch sensitive. You probably noticed that you can't use a pen or even your nails. I'm not perfectly sure but I think it's because these phones are heat sensitive. So if your hand is wet, you can imagine what's gonna happen.

No man our screens are not heat sensitive, imagine what would happen to R in the dessert environment at over 50 degree C !
Its a Capacitive screen so applying pressure won't work. Its touch sensitive and works only when some capacitance is developed due to our skin touching the surface of the sensitive screen.
And to others I already suggested you to get a matte finish screenguard, why don't you try that guys it might help.

[Q] Glass coming/popping out

Hey all, I just wanted to put a question out to see if anyone else may be experiencing this issue. I got my I9003 last year in March and after few months I noticed that the display Glass/Screen is coming out or slightly popping out of the frame of the phone on the top edge. It appears as if it is put on with adhesive that is not working to well. The bottom edge feels good, the edge is slightly up beyond the glass, but on the top edge, the glass is coming above the level of the edge. Initially, it was very slight, and the glass would go inside to fit in the frame when i push it. But recently, the problem has amplified, the difference between the glass and the frame has increased much, and the MAIN PROBLEM is that due to a small gap on the top, dust has entered and my front camera is all filled with dirt. Now I fear that if dust enters above the sensors (proximity and light), that would make the the phone quite less useful.
I would appreciate it if anyone else has noticed this if they could let me, and others know. And also if the the phone can be replaced in guarantee period for this problem (manufacturer's defect).
Thanks.

No, the phone is kept/handled with utmost care and LOVE
Never dropped it even 1 feet distance. This problem, as i mentioned earlier, was since long time back, but only it gets into my notice more often now, just because of the dirty camera.
i noticed same thing not from fall.right top edge of glass.

Thanks for the tip.
Will visit soon and explain them (with extras). Lets see if they replace, or at least fix it.
Sorry for bumping, but i'd just like to report that i'm also experiencing this. Apparently the same thing happened with some galaxy tab's too.
I am the oldest user of i9003 bought the 1st lot of phone made on 4th Feb 2011 but since then never heard of this problem, seems a particular batch problem with sicking glue.
Take it to service center either they will repair it of replace it.
took it to the service center. they didn't replace the phone in whole but they changed the front panel, which holds the LCD (they said that the LCD is not separate but comes with the panel), with the LCD. anyways, i'm happy that the package feels nice touch and hold now
How much time it will take to fix it by service center

I took it on a Saturday. They told me they'll fix it by the coming Tuesday. Although I could collect it only on the next Saturday.
Even i noticed this.
Planning to take it to the centre, should I as a precaution remove all mods, root n stuff before giving it to them

Urgent help needed: screen is totally black !

I gave my sensation to my wife 6 months ago and got a note 2. The sensation is s off running a elegencia rom. Same rom for at least 6 months... yesterday my wife put the sensation in her bag and when she took it out it had a very tiny bit of moisture from a kids cup on the screen protector, but the phone would not turn on. I dont think its water damage bc there was no moisture anywhere else. I took apart the phone and there is no moisture. When I try to power the phone on, there is just a little bit of back light on the bottom left of the screen, but nothing else. It wont boot to recovery. I think its a hardware problem. ....
It is doing exactly what this person describes:
https://t-mobile.jive-mobile.com/#jive-discussion?content=/api/core/v2/discussions/30576
Any suggestions?
Anyone?
After switching batteries and trying over and over, it finally powered on enough to see it, but its just dark now....
if it is the screen or digitizer going bad, why would i be able to see it a little now? It is exactly like in the link that i posted...
any suggestions please?

Can you access your bootloader.
I can now, as now i am able to power it on after switching batteries a few times. now it boots normally, but it is really dark and poor resolution...guessing its hardware? If so, what would accessing the boot loader help with? the screen looks really fuzzy and low quality and sometimes when i turn the screen off, it just stays black again......Guessing the LCD is going bad????

Your going to have to replace your LCD or buy another used sensation.

I had an Ericsson that got water damage, and it slowly got more functional. After about 3 days was completely back to normal. But that was in 2004 lol, ..don't know if phones are more resilient now, or less.
Good luck.

coz pixels(defective or normal) don't shine after phone has shut down.

Not dust, but I think it is a damage, but have no idea how it happened. I'm always careful to avoid damage.
I have the same problem. It is from home/car keys, metalic stuff, metal on the jeans/pocket.
They are tinny cracks in the screen. Hope they don't spread and eventually break

Screen is O.K. Not white, blue, green and red dot.
Like a follow poster already said: When you shut off the phone, these dots shouldn't be visible unless it is a physical damage.
Or dust. You prob. have to clean or replace the screen then.

I think, I'll buying new phone. I like Windows 8 Phone, and I'll buying Huawei Ascend W1.
As for me...I don't like Windows phone coz I don't think that there would b much customisations or open sourcing in Windows as we have for Android...but it's my opinion bro

Windows Phone 8 have all what I need. Almost all of the applications that I use on Android have its equivalent for Windows Phone.
As for the phone, I think it has very good features for its price.
Thanks for opinion and I respect your opinion, and about the taste is not discussed.

Probably there might be a lose connection between the digitizer and the screen. I guess it wont be costly to fix. So try your luck at the service centre
You can try to disassembly your phone and to reconnect the digitizer. If it's not working order a new one and replace on your own, it's easy, i done it myself.

Does anybody have this default on screen ???

Hello,
I saw this few minutes ago, and haven't seen it during all the week end though i was playing with my S8+...
What do you think about it ?
Thanks for your comments and/or advice...
Is that a sort of software thing, or a defect with your screen ?

I agree. I've been seeing over on xda and reddit people with dead pixels, half black screens, laggy scrolls and the famous red tinted screens as well. Unfortunately i have the red tint issue and I'm getting a replacement on the 28th. Setting up is a headache... i wasn't expecting these much screen problems at all.
Yea screen is bad. Probably glue down with to much pressure right there. Exchange it under the 14day return
