Of course i soft bricked my cappy, nothing is picking it up no matter what ive tried. i just need to get into download mode ,and from there i believe odin could pick it up to flash back stock with odin. what are your guys opinions on USB jigs? i found one here,
www(insert dot here)ebay.com/itm/USB-JIG-FIX-DOWNLOAD-MODE-SAMSUNG-GALAXY-S-PHONES-UNBRICK-/130628571641?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6a11d1f9#ht_1739wt_1139

Are u in Download Mode??
Try the heimdal version Adam Outler put out. Works great for ur situation.
<insert witty signature here>
i have done both
heimdler one isnt that one the one click unbrick oh and yes it is in download mode
yes pllease reply what to do
IF your in download mode, and Odin is not seeing the Phone.
Its a Driver issue(Usually) maybe even a port issue...try the ones on the Back of the PC as well.
Just a soft brick you CAN get out this pretty easily. if all else fails you can try another machince to run odin on.

need help! Odin wont flash! Can't boot to OS.

Here is the situation, I tried to flash a stock Skyrocket with CWM via Odin, and Odin keeps saying write failed. I then tried different USB ports, restarted the computer many times but still no luck.
This computer flashed SGS3 and Hercules before with no issue. I've also tried different USB cable. Now whenever I book the phone it said i need to connect to Kies to update. I can't even get into the stock recovery. The only thing i can get into is Download mode but Odin will not flash anything. How can I resolve this?
Please help!
Thank you.
RESOLVED:
I flashed the wrong ROM =D The phone is AT&T Galaxy S2. I kept thinking it was called the Skyrocket hence i download the wrong rom and recovery. That explained why Odin wont flash! After a while i realized the i-727 on the rom doesnt match the i-777 from my phone
You got lucky, really lucky. Flashing a ROM for the wrong phone is usually a hard brick. Read the ROM threads and make absolutely certain you're flashing a ROM for the right phone the right way before doing so.

[Q] phone bricked and not getting detected on computer

Hi,
my friend's Nexus S was stuck in a bootloop. i went into recovery mode and hard reset the phone, so that the phone would come back to stock. however, the phone was being reset when the battery of the phone came off, switching it off.
the phone fails to start. there is no response when i try charging it. Also, it does not go into DOWNLOAD mode or FASTBOOT, so i cant even run any utilities to flash the stock rom back. adb commands as well as the nexus toolkit show that there is no device connected.
can anybody suggest me what to do?? i was gonna try odin but i read somewhere that it is only useful for custom recoveries, not to flash stock roms.
i've gotten some usb drivers mentioned at some thread, saying i would have to update my 'android' device listed in the device manager using them, but i cant seem to find any device mentioned in my device manager either.
any suggestions as to what i should do??

Something like this happened to me a week ago. I have Nexus S 4G. So, I ordered USB Jig from usbjig.com and now I have download mode. It worked!
You can buy USB Jig from that site, or build it yourself, or borrow it from someone.

[Q] SCH-i200 Stellar/Jaspervzw Bricked? Any solution?

So today, I tried to install TWRP onto a standard, 4.0.4 Samsung Stellar. Followed the instructions, went through Odin, and it failed with auth errors. Well, crap. Reboot the phone, get into there, and try to use GooManager to do it for me. I let it do the standard OpenBootloader or whatever, didn't work. So then I tried EZ-Unlocker. Unlocked just fine, until I turned off the phone. Try booting it, nothing happens; no vibration, no sound, no screen, nothing. I thought this was a dead battery (The battery was running at literally, 3% after I used EZ-Unlocker), so I plugged it in. No red light. Take out the battery, slap it back in. Same result, nothing happens to the phone. Well, crap. Try holding the power button again, nothing happens. Connect it to my computer and it reads it as some QUSB or whatever; look that up, download and installed a driver file for Qualcomm, and now Odin3Execution recognizes it, but Odin 3.07 doesn't. However, I still cannot use Odin to try flashing a new ROM onto it or anything because I cannot get into Odin mode. I was thinking of buying a USB jig to get it into Odin, but I want to confirm with someone else that this is a full hard-brick and not me being stupid.
tl;dr: Stellar doesn't boot at all; power button unresponsive, cannot get into recovery or download/odin mode; computer recognized it as QHSUSB_DLOAD, installed drivers to get it to be recognized as a Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 at COM7. Very similar to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822939 but just a different phone.
edit: I found this: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/109153-howto-unbrick-a-bootloader-bricked-stellar/ but the download link times out. I'm willing to try this since it may solve the problem. Does anyone know where I can find a mirror of the download link?
edit2: I just sent a PM to invisiblek here on XDA.
edit3: And thanks to invisiblek, I managed to get it into download mode! Solved; if you want the stella-unbrick file, shoot me a PM and I'll upload it somewhere.
I an also looking for solution and need your help.

BUT when i try connecting my hard bricked samsung to computer it is recognized by computer AND When I install odin and see if the odin detects it well YES it detects my phone. and now I just want to know if i can still flashed my stock firmware to my bricked phone with the odin even if my phone is not in downloading mode? or does usb jig can work it on to downloading mode? ( i dont have usb jig so i dont know yet if it will work on my phone) i didn't yet try flashing my stock firmware using the odin cause im afraid that it will get super hard bricked. Help.

Ok so I had a similar problem with my samsung phone as well where i couldnt go into download mode. So i pretty used the download mode combo(it wasnt in download mode). I just flashed stock firmwere and apparently it worked and you said odin was recognizing it so the best bet is to flash stock firmware via odin even if its not going to download mode
Hope i helped you
