Hi Guys
This just happened, Screen froze on unlock pattern, rebooted phone. Now in messaging using any keyboard the predictive text box that appears has dropped down below the line thus covering up the top line of the keyboard characters!
Any ideas?

You can go into menu-manage applications-all and look for your keyboard settings. There you should be able to clear the data from the application to "reset" the kb app. If you are stock, that would be android kb, etc...

I posted this in on the RegawMod thread as well, but I really need to get this fixed..
Anyway, so when I go to use the Wireless Tether for Root Users (using RegawMod's ROM), it force closes on me every time.. I can get into the app, but as soon as I start the tether, it force closes. I tried reinstalling it, but that doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
Thanks for the help, much appreciated!!

Yes, USB Debugging is on, Super User is installed and present in my app drawer, however, when I go to run that app, all I get is one line that says
10049:10049 0:0 /system/bin/sh

Is that right or should it be doing something else?
Oh, and when I click on that one line, it just disappears and the screen turns black. I can't do much on it, so I just hit home out to the home screen.
I would try to reflash the rom, sounds like SU is not working right. Either that or reinstall SU and see if that gets it. Maybe you could try this first:
go into settings > Applications find Super User and clear the data.
Then try to WiFI tether again.

I would personally wipe and reflash for the simple fact that you'd then be flashing onto a clean device...

I apologize for my stupidness but as I've never owned an HTC device I'm not 100% sure I understand how this file works. So, do you need to put it into download mode and then run the exe or just enable debugging and then run it?
Definitely thanks. This would presumably break root if we had it.

You'll need to use HTC sync to RUU the phone, sort of like ODIN, except with HTC's software

Its basically your phones stock factory reset if you mess anything up being adventurous and trying to find a perm root. You plug your phone into your computer and run it from your desktop
or i can make a cleaned-up (senseless + bloat removed) stock rom with all the proprietary files needed.

I assume you mean restoring factory defaults which will wipe user data but it will not restore OS and kernel data whereas this will.

yeah, I think so. You can do a reset through the phone menus or through bootloader. That was the only 2 ways I knew. Will try this as my phone is a little sluggish after I did Zroot and deleted it and did a factory reset.

The only reason to restore stock RUU would be if you borked your phone or were perm rooted and wanted to return the phone to the store.
Got it. Thanks

I received this error with my Heroc.
The way I fixed it was to have the phone at the bootloader when running the RUU. Not sure if that will work with this phone or not but worth a shot..
Restart the phone into bootloader - Power off and Power on while holding vol. down, or type adb reboot bootloader in your CMD prompt.
Once there make sure your phone is plugged in and says Fastboot USB at the top then try running the RUU again.
Let us know if it works.

usb debugging enabled?
So I have a VZW S3 on NE1 rooted and running xposed. I am not sure what module it was that I installed but my phone is now stuck with the SystemUI constantly crashing to the point of me being unable to use the phone. Then I, like a moron, Unrooted my phone thinking that would stop the issue. It didn't. I do have usb debugging enabled and my phone connects to the computer. Can I just boot into recovery and use the Xposed-disabler-recovery zip to fix this? will that wreck my phone since VZW is so annoying? Would that wipe my memory? And if that doesn't work what else could I do except pull everything I can off my phone and and reflash the entire thing using Odin?
Thanks a million!

OK, I see then just flash the xposed-disabled-recovery.zip using custom recovery. If you locked with only stock recovery, you may need to do a factory reset,

EDIT: I am now stuck on the Asus loading screen, should I wipe data, or will that not fix it?
I recently downloaded a app called "Soft KeyZ", it is supposed to change your navigation bar keys. I tried it on my rooted Asus and now both the navigation bar, notifcation bar and the ability to set a wall paper are all gone. I was stupid and didnt back my tablet up and I dont wanna do a system reset. Any possible help? It has to do with the systemui.apk or something like that. I have skype so if someone could guide me through fixing it that would be very appreciated.

I havent really done anything on my tablet. It can run and change wallpapers but the bars are missing, and a few apps are messed up because of time like facebook (I dont honestly care about the time problem) I can go to that boot menu with the RVK and wipe data etc. Will flashing it with the updated stock fix it so the bars will be back?

It says:
SECURITY NOTICE
UNAUTHORISED ACTIONS HAVE BEEN DETECTED.
RESTART YOUR DEVICE TO UNDO ANY UNAUTHORISED CHANGES.
if i click this message it open an app which has a big orange shield at the top and a slider to activate KNOX protection and anti malware.
I've already done that, numerous times! lol
I rooted by: flashing TWRP using Odin, then booted to recovery and flashed Super SU.
That's all I did.
So how exactly can I use Titanium Backup to help me?
what is Secu?
thanks for the help btw!

If you tap and hold on a notification, it will reveal the source applications name, it should be something like ESLSecurityAgent or something like that.
anyway to remove that notification on a non rooted device ?, my brother installed the apk for the exchange email and receives the same notification , long press on it , app info no option to turn off notifications.
