Very Nice Work my friend...
I Wait for a Froyo port, then i will root my Phone, i dont want a usb brick -.-"
So what benefit does this recovery menu bring?
So, basically, the difference between this recovery and Paul's recovery is that the recovery does not depend on a computer to work, only to launch the recovery?

it still depends on system -> but pauls recovery didnot wipe ext partitions
You need to push the files over ADB same as bevor (paul)
this recovery is only fixed, usb toggle and wiping fully works....
follow him on twitter, he write down anything xD
?
brilliant work of course - thank you
i have to ask, do you think the usb failing issue some have have experienced is a problem? specifically using the mass storage toggle in this recovery.
i am so eager to root but worried about the usb brick issue ??

Aha, I see!
Can somebody please uploade a mirror, Rapidshare is talking dirty to me
This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times.
This limit is reached.
To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.

The simple answer is NO. You still need to connect to the computer.

- Updated Superuser to v3.0.6
- Root / Unroot from CWM recovery
- More options added to CWM recovery (backup to internal sd supported, for the guys who got 16GB internal memory );
- Busybox can be installed now over the minimal BB already provided.
- Fixed backup of ".android_secure" instead of whole of internal sd card.
- use "bootanimation.zip" instead of "sanim.zip"
- More features which I don't recollect as of now . Find and let me know.
If you have just reinstalled the new PDA over the old version (that means if your ROM version is still the same e.g. XXKPQ), then the settings are not regenerated. You need to perform the following steps, in order for the new settings to be in effect:
Code:
adb shell
# sysrw ; rm -rf /system/cfroot/ ; sysro
# reboot
Changelog: (moved to 2nd post)
It is intentional in this recovery to NOT backup the whole internal sdcard. Wipes should not be touching the sdcards (internal & external). Only the ".android_secure" [The apps you install/move to SD card], should be backup up and restore should work fine. Please report in case you observe any issues.
Attached you will find the CWM ... just flash with ODIN selecting in the PDA source the CWM file. Also you can find the version to flash from CWM Manager app.
Restart the phone (if things are not working as desired after first reboot)!!!
Also, since the Superuser version is updated, do the following steps:
- Goto [Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All -> Superuser] and "Clear Data". ***
*** This is because the earlier versions permissions conflict with the newer version.
P.S.: Please contact me via PM if you find anything inappropriate here
Just press "Thanks" if you like my work...!!!

Changelog:
(2011-11-24)
- Updated Superuser v3.0.7
- Advance Backup support individual partitions
- Added "Reboot Download" option
- Some other minor fixes in restore
(2011-12-01)
- Added more options in TweakManager app
- Various tweak values in "00tweaks" has been optimized
- Lot of fixes in base CF-Root
- Fixed: sysrw & sysro working
- Fixed: bootanimation.zip compatibility
- Extra version includes param.lfs for using custom boot logo (instructions on next post)
(2011-12-17):
- Updated CWM Manager v3.0 application
- Fixed few bugs for recovery mode.
- Root/Unroot actually works now
- RFS <--> EXT4 conversion addon application added
(2012-02-01):
- CWM Touch recovery
- various improvements in CF-Root
- New: Overclock Kernel (with 6 OPPs) [Inspired by: DooMLoRD, XDA_Bam, and other wonderful devs. ]
- Fixed: RFS <--> EXT4 conversion addon application
The custom boot logo works like this:
1) After flashing the extra version, logo.jpg is not available initially. Hence you see garbled screen.
2) However, this version enables the ability to copy your custom boot logo.jpg to "/mnt/.lfs/" folder. (you can use Root Explorer to do this by mounting it R/W first)
3) After placing your custom logo.jpg, reboot and then you should see your own boot logo.
Attaching the original logo.jpg, if you want to use the stock one.

First, you have to have UC-Kernel on your phone. Do not flash anything below if you are on different kernel.
UC-Kernel can be found here.
Read below on "how to have your own custom boot logo"
DooMLoRD said:
How to change bootlogo/bootscreen
Our kernel (v03 onwards) comes with its own bootlogo/bootscreen... but to enable that bootlogo/bootscreen u need to separately flash a file via ODIN...
This basically is based on what Skin1980 had posted to modify bootlogo...
[ how to enable loading custom bootlogo ]
first download modifier-XXKPQ-bootlogo.tar
check the md5hash of the file to ensure file integrity
reboot device into Download mode
connect to PC via USB cable
start ODIN
make sure that device is detected
click on PDA and select the file u downloaded
now click start
after flashing is successful the device will reboot
now flash our kernel!
[ how to have ur own custom bootlogo ]
this can be done ONLY after u flash the modifier
u need a 480x800 image and it has to be in JPEG format
the file should be called as logo.jpg and has to be saved in /mnt/.lfs/
thats it reboot device to see ur own logo
[ how to disable loading custom bootlogo ]
first download stock-XXKPQ-bootlogo.tar
check the md5hash of the file to ensure file integrity
reboot device into Download mode
connect to PC via USB cable
start ODIN
make sure that device is detected
click on PDA and select the file u downloaded
now click start
after flashing is successful the device will reboot
now custom bootlogo will be disabled!
[ download links ]
Modifier XXKPQ
MD5HASH: fd95a5097ec37911023b23df08f53fa4
Stock XXKPQ
MD5HASH: 0a2a8a45c4b44cbbf170e3b85ff748dd
[ troubleshooting ]
at first u may need to reboot 2 or 3 times to see our custom bootlogo
if even after flashing the modifier u are unable to see our custom bootlogo OR if u want to revert back to our bootlogo; then:
once device boots start RootExplorer
go to the folder /data/local/tmp/
delete the file uckernelbootlogo
reboot device
this will force the kernel to push our logo to /mnt/.lfs/
Click to collapse
Tips:
1. its /mnt/.lfs/ not /mnt/.ifs/
2. You can use the move command in terminal emulator since .lfs is hidden
3. Save any .jpg to sdcard as "logo.jpg"
4. mv /sdcard/logo.jpg /mnt/.lfs/logo.jpg
5. Once logo.jpg is in .lfs, it seems it cannot be overwritten, you need to flash the modification again if you want to change boot screens.
Sir wheres the DL link..
nice work man
You can right click and save the pics above directly and use them as logo.jpg
STEP 1: Save the images and put them /mnt/.lfs/logo.jpg
STEP 2: Thanks inciongd for the awesome screens!!
superb buddy...

To change bootlogo again without flashing,
Delete the file /data/local/tmp/uckernelbootlogo
Reboot (a few times, till stock boot logo is pushed by kernel)
Then place the new boot logo.jpg to /mnt/.lfs/
Reboot

are you trying to do this on cm7 like me? if so, it's a bit of work to do it 'cause you have to flash other fw to do this and go back to cm7. if you're not, are you flashing the "extra" cfroot from the universal thread? if so, are you getting the image noise like you're supposed to?

I got a question, will I be able to move my apps from internal storage to SD card after doing the installation?
I'm currently using your SlimDroid v5.1 and it seems that I can't move any app to SD Card.
Everytime I move an app, it says 'Couldn't move app'.
Did I miss anything?
Please help.
Thanks!

One more question, I hope you don't mind. Where can I get CM? Is it an app that I can download from market or it is zip file that I need to flash?
I'm sorry for the noob question, I just started installing custom ROM for my A1.
Thanks again!

[Share][Script]|int2ext+|Increase Internal memory of QMobile A2]

Hello All,
QMobile A2 is one of the popular smart phone in pakistan. Specs are good but it lacks in low internal memory i.e, 172 MB & also in RAM i.e., 256 MB ram.!! :/
So today i will tell u the method of increasing internal memory of QMobile A2 from 172mb to 1.6 gb !!
So before we start , i want to tell everybody that although the script nd idea nd a lil bit method is provided by me but the real method is by fahad ali(page member) & the trick that make fahad's method working for all is by @Erum Farooq (page member).
so now come to real method!
Requirements
1- QMobile A2(v2 & v3 both)
2- Root
3- Any one of my custom ROM (Latest GalaxJelly is recommended)
4- MiniTool Partition GET IT HERE
5- Int2ext+ script GET IT HERE
6- A Brain
Method
1- Firstly download partiton tool from above & install it.
2- Now connect ur sd card with card reader to pc nd delete all partions (if having)
3- Now make a new partition of FAT32 as primary nd select all space on sd card.

4- Now disconnect card reader from pc nd took out the sd card from it.
5- now put the sd card in phone nd directly bootinto recovery.
6- Now select advanced option from there nd then partition sd card nd now choose the ext size (2048 recommended)
7- Now select 0m coz we don't need any swap partition nd let it partition the sd card( it will took 6-7 mints)
8- After the partitioning , now reboot.
9- Remove any link2sd script from ur phone i.e, delete 11link2sd from system/etc/init.d nd also install-recovey.sh from system/etc.
10- Now install Steric busybox installer & link2sd.
11- Now if u r using Galaxjelly then open root browser nd it will ask u to download utilities ,just select yes!
12- Now open data folder & delete rngd.pid named folder from there & now close root browser.
13- Now open link2sd app( at start it will ask u to create mount script so just cancel it )
[url=http://postimage.org/][img]http://s6.postimg.org/62i7rzuap/2013_10_07_19_26_37.png[/url]
14- Now scroll download nd select playstore then action then integrate it with system.
[/url
15- Now again select busybox installer then action then integrate it with system.
[url=http://postimage.org/]
16- Now close link2sd nd reboot phone.
17- After rebooting , open busybox installer nd then select install nd then smart install.
18- Now open seeder app nd enable it.
19- Now download int2ext+ script from above nd copy it to ur sd card.
20- Now copy int2ext+ i.e., 40int2ext from sd card to to system/etc/init.d
21- give it full permissions like below.
22- Also change the ownership like below.
23- Now reboot into recovery
24- Wipe dalvik cache from advanced option nd then clean cache partition nd now goto mountsandstorage nd there format sd ext
25- Now say Bismillah nd reboot
26- first reboot can took 5 mints so wait it to boot.
If u have follow all steps correctly then your memory should be increased now

Great guide! This script works on all available ROMs of A2.
A custom ROM is not necessary. Just that on the Stock ROM init.d is not supported by default so it has to be added by using "Pimp My ROM" application.
I have tested it on all 4 ROMs currently available that are Stock, THUNDERSTORM1, D-XPERIA HD and GalaxJelly.
Here are screenshots of my QMobile Noir A2 v2 with the script running on different ROMs:
