EB13w/ Ext4 but not sure if it's really eb13w

I have 2.2.1 and did the steps for EB13 & Ext 4. Under ROM manager, out atoll shows Clock work mod 2.5 & I thought I had 3. Where did that go and also, how do I tell if I have an Ext4 file system now?

cwm3 isnt "officially" supported and thus it doesn't show up on rom manager. also you cant use rom manager to reboot into clockwork 3 because it won't recognize your sd card. turn the phone off and rebbot into recovery by pressing vol down, camera, power all at once. When it comes up it should be orange writing if you are on cwm3. Blue is still stock samsung, green is 2.5.
To see if you are on eb13 go to settings > about phone.

Did u do the 1 clock root with cwm3.0.0.6 or no? Cuz if u didn't do that u won't have ext4.

This thread is for general questions regarding MIUI FOR INFUSE ROM.

I flashed miui about a week ago. The .30 edition.
Well I want to update and when I try to boot into cwm it just sits at Samsung screen.
I tried to flash the cwm through Tom manager and still nothing. =\

I was having the same problem booting into cwm. I followed LG_iiNsTiiNcT's directions that are below via the2rrell and I was able to boot Jordan's update. Thanks guys.

Okay so if you were one of the few people who lost recovery for some weird reason "ME" no need to unbrick to stock and re-flash I have a solution.
1: Download sgs kernel flasher
2: Download CWM community kernel
3: Flash kernel via sgs kernel flasher "unchecked the reboot button" when done flashing turn phone of "SHUTDOWN"
4: 3 finger until the Samsung logo pops up keep holding the buttons the screen will go black then Samsung logo will come up, let go of the power button and keep hold the volume up and down buttons "For about 20 seconds" then let go it should boot into Red CWM after a few seconds.
5: Go to install zip from SD card go all the way down and run update.zip it will boot back into RED CWM run update.zip again and it should now boot into GREEN CWM
6: From here Re-Flash MIUI "New Release would be smart", Wipe Fact,Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik, Flash, reboot at sign of Samsung logo pull battery, 3 finger into blue recovery and flash again.
7: Presto you should be set and have recovery back.

So I made a theme and I want to share it but for some reason the carrier logo and Sinhalese bars that are in systemui don't show up I have to put them in systemui.apk from the actual rom

That's weird than, I haven't been on gb for a while now and I flashed miui the other day. I wasn't a big fan of it at the time but now I think I may give it another shot. I'm not sure which version I used.

Well I had great success with 1.9.23 and 1.9.30. Read about all the people having issues with CWM and laughed thinking they obviously did something wrong. Well lo and behold, updated to 1.10.7 and now I have no recovery. Gah! So what is my recourse? I flashed exactly as I did before so it wasn't user error. Anyone have a clue as to how to get Recovery back?

I've ready everywhere about this rom but I cannot find the answer for this!
Do I need to turn off Voo-Doo lag fix for this rom??

Umm...so MIUI will be updated every friday for the infuse? I have a small issue with that which is that all my widgets dissapear on my home screen after updating and it takes like 10 mins to get them back again...Any way to avoid this?
Also another HUGE ISSUE
Why does 3d lag so badly? The GPU renders very slowly i went from 57 fps to 28 in quadrant. Can someone explain this? Makes no sense how everything else is super smooth yet the 3d i just horribly slow?

No root after MIUI flash

I obtained root via Odin as superoneclick didn't work. Then i flashed the latest version on MIUI and I lost root access. A couple of forums said superuser needs to be enabled in the settings. However when I opened superuser and looked under preferences there was no toggle to enable it.

There is an app in tools called Superuser, not the one you download from market. It will have the enable toggle.

Everybody needs to read we have answered this same question over 20 times in the last week lol.. Do not use the downloadable super user app. When you flash miui there's a tools folder in that there's a super user app, click on it got menu button on bottom of phone, click turn root on. NOW YOU HAVE ROOT. Second follow my instructions to get recovery back there on the first page of Jordan's post and also posted in this thread. If anyone who is having these problems is reading this please research and check threads before over posting questions. Thanks

Any way back on topic have you tryed every way to get recovery there is a ffew ways if not and u absolutely lost your super user app then u might just go the Odin back to stock root aand start from scratch. Ill keep looking for you thougb

And for recovery 3 finger your way in. Press them all at the same time hold the power button make sure it reboots the. The let go of the power button. But keep on holding the volume buttons. Recovery is there you just have to reach it.

Oh with all due respect I have read all of it... and I know how to get recovery back, but it's kinda hard to flash recovery kernel when kernel flasher requires root! Trust me I tried everything I knew before I posted.... I did not download any superuser app from the market.... the superuser app in the tools folder does not have a toggle for root... and I know what it looks like been running miui since it came out for infuse... thanks... just want my root back..

Tried that 3 [email protected] prime... no dice.... just stuck on sanding logo... lost recovery before and used lg s method to retrieve it but nothing works this time cause root is gone... may have to go back to stock..

Then just Odin back to stock. Opimus most people like myself are flashing Jordan's MIUI just fine. I did lose recovery, but I got fixed with LGs fix. Dman I hope you get it fixed.
Again, this thread should be moved to Q&A. Or closed because there is a thread for MIUI in both Q&A and development.

At least in my case, I agree something is not right with rooting after I updated to MIUI-Infuse-1.10.14. The superuser app is different then last week's (1.10.7) and no apps show up in the approved list.
I reloaded last week's MIUI-Infuse-1.10.7 and the apps show up in the MIUI list but some apps work ok...others don't. Went back to 1.10.14, same problem.
I think I'll wait till this week's update and then start trying some of the solutions already posted. yeha!!

Thank you cajun that's what I thought I would have to do, just thought someone would have an easier solution before I went thru the pain of reverting back to stock... the thing is everything was great with all the other updates until I updated to 1.10. 14. Then everything went bye bye.. lol.. thanks for the help everyone you guys are really great and helpful.

Alright, i went ahead and flashed right over infused 2.2.3. Successfully! They definitely are getting close on these leaks. Home screen pops up right before the lockscreen, like before.
No rainbows. (so far been running for an hour or so.) battery draining regular.
Speed tests pretty standard for my area(southeast florida) fluctuated between 1.5 - 3 down and 1 up.
Wifi, data and gps appear to all be functioning properly.

I know to wipe before flashing. Just wanted to see if...
Oh well, now I'll wipe and reinstall.

Once you try it there's no leaving it.... trust me!!! Love AOKP just got my SR yesterday, coming from an infuse running UNiPoRN AOKP. Super stoked to see it hit the dev section today, was following it in the general section last night after I rooted my SR. Thanks to all the amazing Devs!!!

Many thanks to the devs. I'm still on b39, the reboot is rare but I may do a fresh install of this new one. Torch is a little buggy in that you'll just turn your phone off if you use the hold power when locked shortcut. Most likely this is my user error and I need to disable something, just wondering if anyone has any input.
Also if anyone has NBA Jam I'd really appreciate if you could test it out. I haven't had any luck running it on aosp roms.

dont know if anybody else is getting this but on downloading the file its only 4.4MB
I knew some thing was funny cuz soon as i click DL 134MB that would normally take less then a min said like 2hrs for DL..
ok retried DL its passing 5.0MB and that took like mins with 1hour 15min left... i dont know whats going on tried one of your other ROMs DLlink just to see and it was done in less then a min

Yeah, mine reached until 16mb. But - I'm sure he's aware of it, and will fix it soon. .
I'm pretty amped to get this freshly installed on my phone.

Dialer Broken
I have been flashing roms non-stop since i have gotten the skyrocket.
I am having a persistent issue, and i have not been able to find the solution (have searched a bit through the other AOKP rom threads). BTW i followed the installation direction to the dot. wiped everything listed 3x.
My dialer seems to be broken. When i attempt to call, it force closes and it seems to take my att connection with it (not sure how else to describe). The odd thing is, i was able to connect to my voice but the app force closed taking the option to end call away. Had to force stop the app to end the call.
I also tried flashing different radios to see if that was the issue, and the problem has persisted. What radio is everyone using. I have read UCLE2 in the other threads.
I will attempt to redownload the rom and try flashing again to see if it was a bad flash. Just wanted to throw my experience out there to see if anyone had encountered it.
