stuck at 18 megabytes 3rd try

Luckily I dled at 430 lol haha. Woke up with cold sweats and needed to flash something! Flashed and all is well, although I did randomly lose my phone capability once. Called vm and nothing happened no ringing at all. So I called myself and still nothing. Rebooted and its fine. Probably just a hiccup. Thanks guys !

Its deodexed, which means its easier to edit the theme and everything else.

Hello everyone! Here is something new for you all to play with. This is the TouchWiz 4.0 Launcher on the SGSII for KC1 and KD1. THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH MY DEODEXED BUILDS. Download the respective zip for your build and flash through clockworm mod recovery (you read me right!). The KC1 version CAN be flashed over the lockscreen mod from my other thread.

Make sure you're running my dedoexed build. This will NOT work on the official T-mobile release.

To my understanding the only thing not working is restoring /system. You can flash stuff through it np.

Oh, so to install this i would just have to put it in root of sd, then go to flash from sd, choose and flash it? ( do i need to wipe anything?)

Flashed with cwm and running fine. I like this version of tw much better. It's less Iphoney--It doesn't have those colored boxes behind the app icons in the app drawer. It also seems to be pretty snappy.
I will probably use this for my main launcher which I am surprised to say about a version of TW...lol. Great job on this!

Download to sdcard and then boot into cwm and look for install zip from sdcard, not the flash update.zip option. U will see your sdcard file layout find the file u downloaded and install. Hope this helps. Also when u reboot hit home and go to preferences and uncheck Landscape. It was causing force close on me everytime.

it was cwm i was having the same issue. Krylon fixed it. just go redownload

I noticed issues if I tried to use more than 5 icons on the dock. Also get a black screen if I use my samsung desk home app. Not a big deal but only happens with sgs 4g not my vibrant both running tw 4.
Love tw 4.... never thought I would see love and touch wiz together.

Hmm. I reflashed KD1 and installed.beta 3 cw again, and it still keeps rebooting constantly. Im lost. When i get home i guess i could try odin.

I flashed miui about a week ago. The .30 edition.
Well I want to update and when I try to boot into cwm it just sits at Samsung screen.
I tried to flash the cwm through Tom manager and still nothing. =\

I was having the same problem booting into cwm. I followed LG_iiNsTiiNcT's directions that are below via the2rrell and I was able to boot Jordan's update. Thanks guys.

Okay so if you were one of the few people who lost recovery for some weird reason "ME" no need to unbrick to stock and re-flash I have a solution.
1: Download sgs kernel flasher
2: Download CWM community kernel
3: Flash kernel via sgs kernel flasher "unchecked the reboot button" when done flashing turn phone of "SHUTDOWN"
4: 3 finger until the Samsung logo pops up keep holding the buttons the screen will go black then Samsung logo will come up, let go of the power button and keep hold the volume up and down buttons "For about 20 seconds" then let go it should boot into Red CWM after a few seconds.
5: Go to install zip from SD card go all the way down and run update.zip it will boot back into RED CWM run update.zip again and it should now boot into GREEN CWM
6: From here Re-Flash MIUI "New Release would be smart", Wipe Fact,Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik, Flash, reboot at sign of Samsung logo pull battery, 3 finger into blue recovery and flash again.
7: Presto you should be set and have recovery back.

So I made a theme and I want to share it but for some reason the carrier logo and Sinhalese bars that are in systemui don't show up I have to put them in systemui.apk from the actual rom

That's weird than, I haven't been on gb for a while now and I flashed miui the other day. I wasn't a big fan of it at the time but now I think I may give it another shot. I'm not sure which version I used.

Well I had great success with 1.9.23 and 1.9.30. Read about all the people having issues with CWM and laughed thinking they obviously did something wrong. Well lo and behold, updated to 1.10.7 and now I have no recovery. Gah! So what is my recourse? I flashed exactly as I did before so it wasn't user error. Anyone have a clue as to how to get Recovery back?

I've ready everywhere about this rom but I cannot find the answer for this!
Do I need to turn off Voo-Doo lag fix for this rom??

Umm...so MIUI will be updated every friday for the infuse? I have a small issue with that which is that all my widgets dissapear on my home screen after updating and it takes like 10 mins to get them back again...Any way to avoid this?
Also another HUGE ISSUE
Why does 3d lag so badly? The GPU renders very slowly i went from 57 fps to 28 in quadrant. Can someone explain this? Makes no sense how everything else is super smooth yet the 3d i just horribly slow?

J just flashed this rom. Last night and I'm having trouble with the market. I can't download anything due to an error I seen this before. All I had to do to fix it force close and clear data.... I did this several times and nothing. I also restarted the phone couple time and nothing. And I get that annoying Google talk notification that it's trying to connect or whatever. I don't even use that app how can I stop that and fix the market.....I flashed the 201108 something gapps...

I've been running CM7 for quite a while and it's been my daily since I am fed up with Sense and memory hogs. Been SENSEless for a while now... so I might give this one a try when I see a bit more development. I DO like the stock launcher instead of another software layer...
Just asking... would this be considered a KANG? Please enlighten me.

I have not seen this issue before, even with several re-flashes of the ROM. Go back to the recovery, wipe everything but the SD card and flash both files again. Might be your data connection. Can you specify this error or even better send us screen caps of it? Just hold power button and tap Screenshot.

For the market errors, try going into language and keyboard, select any other English language. Open market then close the market. Go back into language and select united states English again. This was recommended and it worked for me. Also, adding an additional Gmail account was recommended as well. Good luck.

There is really only one GB AOSP rom other than CM that can't be considered a kang in one way or another. That's SalvageMod. Really there is no shame in the kang, so long as the dev gives proper creds. (Which he did) I have a couple here in dev section myself.

Please assist him by testing and giving logcats of any issues you have.
His name is lithium76 here on xda.

HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Place zip on root of SD card.
2. Boot into cwm, take a nandroid.
3. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache.
-----3a. Or use darkside wipe.
4. Install zip from SD.
5. Reboot system. Enjoy
NOTES:
This has most of the same bugs our aokp R1 had and maybe a few other small bugs.
To fix reboot menu. After initial boot let rom settle for 5mins, manually boot into recovery, wipe cache/dalvik. Reboot system.

I ran the 989 version, it gave me hell, wouldnt even load up my pictures in gallery. Idk what the deal was. Pm sent tho.
