Hi,
I'm looking for videotron sbf to possibly flash it back to stock and return my phone to the dealer. Anybody have it, I couldn't find it online?
Thx a lot!
gu3vara: If you ever get a reply, please let me know too.
I've been looking for the original Videotron sbf.
I never saved a copy before flashing and updating a lot of different ROMs and SBFs.
Thanks!

Hi, I have a question for any one that can assist me. I have flashed the Official Test ROM version, and I want to go back to the AT&T Original ROM what do I do. I tried to flash the original ROM and the boot up screen still say that it's the test version and my GPS does not work. Can you please help me out to get rid of the TEST boot up? I have also tried different Radio, and I assumed that might solve the problem, but it did not so can you please help out thanks A.S.A.P.
I got the ROM from this link, and I am not sure how to get the orginal AT&T ROM and Radio back.

hi, i think i physically damaged my phone by dropping it. now the speaker on the phone does not work. people on the other line can still hear me, but i have to plug in the headphones just to hear them. it's getting kind of lame having to plug in my headphones just to make or receive a call, so i would like to bring it in to t-mobile to fix the phone, possibly, or replace it. i had rooted my phone with the jesus freak update rc-33 with two-point touch. i need to UNroot my phone if that is possible, so i can bring it in to t-mobile to replace my phone. is this possible? if not, does anyone know if there is a repair service in th NY area?
How many more threads are there going to be on this exact same topic? The search isn't broken is it?

that link just talks about re-flashing the JF mod. He wants to go back to the original fw. I couldn't find anything about it. I was able to re-flash stock rc33 but the kernel was still modded.

I have done the same things like flashing JF version and it succeeded.
i) Downgrade to RC29
ii) Upgrade to RC30 official firmware
iii) Ungrade to RC33 officical firmware
The ii) and iii) points required the official roms, which are easily searched and downloaded from google.com
Hope it could help.
Unrooting the HTC Magic looks te be the only way to get OTA Updates back. My own phone is the Dutch Vodafone Magic, with the same ROM as the Brittish and the Australian Magics.
The G1 can be unrooted and manuals to do so are all over the place, but unrooting the Sapphire seems to be a lot harder...
So here's my question, How the beep are we going to unroot our phones? All info will be appreciated!
I have 2 Magics, both were rooted but I decided to go back to offical firmware on one of them for sale. All I did was Nandroid back to my original rom, root is now gone and I am able to get updates.
Hope this helps.
I restored my Nandroid backup manually, do you think it makes a difference to do it by a automated program?
UPDATE: I tried to restore my phone with Nandroid and everything is working okay, but still NO ota update. Strange enough the firmware is back at CRB17, when I made the backup the firmware was updated to the most recent version.. now how's that possible?
Could someone else confirm that with nandroid backup the root goes away?
Thanks
Im also trying to unroot.
I think you also nee to do this
I'm getting file/directory not found error...
What if you havent got your original backup?
Does any one have a nandroid backup from a HTC magic for me? I really need a Dutch vodafone branded backup!!? So who can help me..
I have a vodafone (UK) nandroid is it helps anybody.
Where can I get that?
Let me zip it and will upload it somewhere or if you send me a PM with your skype ID I will transfer that way.

Here ya go. Now what we have to do is wait until 19th October for Vodafone UK to rollout the update 1.6.

All - if on restoring your original Nandroid you find you were CRB17, you might want to note that CRB17 on Magic is pre-release phone, doesn't allow any kind of OTA or official manual upgrade.
Although you can force the matter yourself, you might want to note instead that VF are doing free inshop replacement for new handset for anyone with CRB17.

Hey guys, I'm trying to get back to the stock ROM for Tmobile US and I'm unable to find it .. I've looked through out the forum and I also don't know the official rom version.
RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.29.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_193714_signed
RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1.27.531.2_Radio_10.42.9007.00P_ 10.11.9007.15_M_release_192098_signed
I found it finally but which version I assuming the first and I'm downloading it..
I have tried both of those and i get a error. I want to go back to stock until i get going on a rom. Does anyone know why i am getting this error
Hi all
Just about to receive my shiny new sensation and am getting ready to start flashing.
Does anyone know where I can find the shipped ROM for this phone so I have it in case I need to send it back for warranty issues etc?
Not sure about versioning etc as I don't have my device yet
mate.. you should be able to create a backup yourself of your rom if no one else has done it... how else do you think everyone is able to get the stock recovery.. im not sure if there is thread here on xda (im sure someone will know it) on how to do it so i chucked in the top result from google
http://androidadvices.com/backup-restore-roms-android-phone/
edit: remember you will need to get a stock recovery.img (you can get this in the dev thread) to reflash once you have done the reflash of the original rom (as you would have used cwm to flash the original you need to make sure you get rid of cwm to bring him shiny new =]
What we are after is a RUU for the stock Telstra ROM, not a nandroid backup.
