Faux Kernel Location - HTC Sensation

So for the past few months, I've been using the Bricked kernel but I'm curious to try the newest Faux kernel. Only problem is that Multiupload is apparently down so I cannot find an official version of the kernel. Any suggestions?

[Q] [i9020-T] Trinity UV Kernel Flashing

Hey everyone I'm kinda new to the whole kernel flashing business and I'm trying to flash the UV Trinity kernel to my Nexus S. From what I've read I only need to flash the zip from recovery without having to do any sort of wiping. The main problem when I tried this is that the phone went into a boot loop and wouldn't go past the boot animation for the kernel. I'm not sure if it's because the kernel is based off of 2.3.4 and I'm currently running CM-7.0.3. Morfic's thread indicated that the kernel was made for CM7 so I don't know what's going wrong here.

You have a ROM based on 2.3.3, meaning it's not compatible with a kernel made for 2.3.4.
Try flashing the latest cm7 and then the kernel.

Would it work if I tried a CM7 variant that's based off of the 2.3.4 source? I'm going for a stable phone and unsure about the nightly builds at this point. If not I'll probably just wait CM to update and release the rom.

it should work on any 2.3.4 cm based roms.

Kernels not working need help

Im trying to flash a kernel to my phone. I have tried both of the trinity kernels and faux's kernels. I have tried them with CM7.1.0.1 and some of the nightly builds but get nothing. All I get is a black screen like I have heard of most people getting. How can I fix this?
Basically the Kernel is newer than the ROM you're using. I can't comment on why it's not working with a nightly but I'll pm you the link for a ROM which I know from my own usage will work with those kernels.

[Q] Anyone using an older Kernel on ICS ROM and have stability ?

I keep flashing and flashing kernels.
Air
Matrix
Steve Garon
Trinity
Franco
etc
etc
Does anyone use an older dated kernel of any of these on any ICS ROMS and have such stability and good battery life that they are unwilling to upgrade to anything else ?
If so, what is your combination and setup ?
Thanks
Griff

I'm quite happy with the stock CM9 kernel. What ROM are you using? Have you tried sticking with it's stock kernel? There's generally a reason the ROM dev chooses the kernel they do.
I have had good results with CM9's stock kernel and the Air kernel for ICS. I had instability with matr1x and trinity.
Im using franco's 1.1 and while it's very bare bones (no bln/bld/voodoo/oc etc) the kernel performs amazingly well and I couldn't be more pleased. I got tired of reboots with other kernels and haven't suffered even a single one yet.

[Q] Overclock with cm7.2 rom

for the longest time I have tried to OC my g2x without any luck. Probably the reason why it never OC was because I ran on the Cm7 generation roms. But because there was a recent update (cm7.2) I'm wondering if someone has figured out how to overclock with this rom.
Current phone stats:
Kernal: 2.6.32.55-cyanogenmod [email protected]
Rom: cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1 p999
Perhaps I can flash a new kernal that you guys can recommend and OC my phone.

Question regarding Faux kernel

hi there
i have installed faux kernel and want swipetowake function just like bricked kernel
can anyone help me
running the tmobile elegancia rom
I thought that the latest faux 006 kernel has sweeptowake function built in.
Make sure that the kernel is compatible with the rom you are using before flashing it. Search the Sensation forums for FAUX's threads for more information.
Come on! The least you could do is try to search for it the faux kernel thread?!
I found this link in the first post for the faux Kernel!
