hi there
i have installed faux kernel and want swipetowake function just like bricked kernel
can anyone help me
running the tmobile elegancia rom
I thought that the latest faux 006 kernel has sweeptowake function built in.
Make sure that the kernel is compatible with the rom you are using before flashing it. Search the Sensation forums for FAUX's threads for more information.
Come on! The least you could do is try to search for it the faux kernel thread?!
I found this link in the first post for the faux Kernel!

Just flashed latest MIUI rom onto my i9020T. Curious about custom kernels. Any suggestions?
Netarchy's kernel. Find it on Dev forums
Use the universal one.
I like netarchy kernel also with the added under volting. BE CAREFUL DOING THIS. I'm 40 mv lower then the default values. I get great battery life, almost 30 heavy use.
I've read through that and from the jist of it Netarchy universal 2.3.3 seems the most stable. But MIUI 1.6 is 2.4 based so how does that stand with/against the 2.3.3 kernel?

I'm having a hard time finding a compiled list of MIUI compatible kernels. Can someone point me in the right direction or compile a list? I'd like to find a battery saver kernel and an OC kernel that are working for MIUI. Will Trinity kernels work? When using CM7, those were the best ones I used.
I'm fairly certain that as of this moment both morfic's Trinity kernel and faux123's 0.4.4 kernel work on the latest MIUI.
Any kernel written for CM7-based roms will work.... thats why. None of them are written for MIUI specifically because it is CM7-based.
So for the past few months, I've been using the Bricked kernel but I'm curious to try the newest Faux kernel. Only problem is that Multiupload is apparently down so I cannot find an official version of the kernel. Any suggestions?
for the longest time I have tried to OC my g2x without any luck. Probably the reason why it never OC was because I ran on the Cm7 generation roms. But because there was a recent update (cm7.2) I'm wondering if someone has figured out how to overclock with this rom.
Current phone stats:
Kernal: 2.6.32.55-cyanogenmod [email protected]
Rom: cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1 p999
Perhaps I can flash a new kernal that you guys can recommend and OC my phone.

There is no "best" kernel because whats best for you might not be best for someone else, its subjective.
Just try a kernel, use it for a few days, if you like it, stick with it else flash a different one

I had the best result with the Sebastian's kernel, but it does not support to sweep2wake to I using Faux 008b8.
I like using bricked kernel. I did have sebastianfm which is also a good choice
When I was using Sebastian kernel, it made my phone very hot when charging it. I have bricked set to on-demand

Looking for my first Kernel. These would not work with JB CM10 builds right?
