Hi, this is my last Miui Pikachu Edition. As the Defy gets right now CM10 and more Features are added or Bugs are fixed, it is only a question of time when everybody will be on CM10. Still it has to grow and proof its daily usage, but it is on a good way to get it done in a couple of weeks.
Still my girlfriend ( which owns the Defy ) doesn't like CM10 at all. She will stay with MIUI V2 for the rest of the Defy live ( maybe until I develop a good Miui V4 Version ) and I thought to make a final FIX Version. This Version added some new features, fixed old ones and have been tested with 4 Versions. This time everything should work perfectly, but as we know this are custom roms, there can be always some problems.
I will still provide SUPPORT and if something has to be fixed it will be.

Really Easy!!! just boot into CWM and click on install zip -> choose zip and everything will be explained during the installation. My last version was also made with AROMA Installer, but this time I included more stuff in it. Don't be afraid AROMA Installer is set up in 3 languages; German, English and Spanish.
IMPORANT!!! this Rom works only on Defy or Defy+ with Froyo Kernel or Gingerbread 2.3.4/5 Kernel. All with 2.3.6 Kernel can try to downgrade to Froyo Kernel, because the new Motorola Kernel won't work with MIUI. Just use this Tutorial on XDA Developers

I Have been following this rom for quite some time now on www.custom-android.de even doe i understand very little german .... You always have some of the best tweaks on your roms and i love the new aroma installer..... Thanks for bringing it to XDA.
iam self polish, but I can't write polish. Maybe if you help to translate the AROMA Installer strings and if I add polish strings to the Apps, but this will be a lot of work. Therefore, I hate to add more languages. SOO much work if I want to make it right and not using a multilanguage version like Wajk ( who does a great work )

Yup I guess it is a hard, monotonous work. need to add a translation to over hundred of applications ... But it would be nice to use this rom in native language
As for "Aroma Installer" I can translate it. It would be nice if you send me PM and write exactly which files I neet to translate

Can I ask what is the Telocation Provider app in the rom?
(as I know it is a kind of Chinese network location app and it is active in background all the time. Many miui rom makers have removed it from their rom because it is only "useful" in China.)

Have tried CM7.2, WIUI, MS2G and Pikachu MIUI on my DEFY+ and Pikachu is the ROM I'm sticking with. It has the speed of CyanogenMod, yet it is more stable and MUCH better looking! I'm loving it! (The CPU is set @1ghz and it's really faster than WIUI @1.1ghz)

hmm Niksy+ doesn't say me something, I made it to english because MIUI has English in it and thought maybe XDA will love it too. Thanks so Sesme it is also Spanish, because he translated all MY English tags into Spanish. Don't remember that somebody helped me with the English translation. Q: Why you are also making Non-A2SD Builds ?
A: I'm also making Non-A2SD because most of the users have s-off their devices so they don't need A2SD.
Q: Which build should i download English build or Multi Language build ?
A: English is in both builds but if you only speak English then download the English one because its smaller and fits into any HBOOT & if you don't speak English or speak more then one languages then choose the Multi Language build.
Q: Whats the difference between the English build and Multi Language Build ?
A: The English build only support's English language and is 17MB smaller and Multi Language build supports every Language including English.
Q: I'm having call delay and its really annoying what to do?
A: Make sure you are not on the leaked HTC Gingerbread Radio and call delay bug has been reduced since V2.

If you really are 14 that would be illegal, what mods, tweaks are done to this, removing apk's generally save Mb's with no speed improvement.Isn't Dev null 48Mb system why would you use a stock hboot and waste all that space

When you have installed a MIUI version later then 1.4.1, wipe caches and dalvik is enough, for all others FULL Wipe is needed.

General hints and tipps:
- uncheck Hi-Res Graphics in Launcher Settings for better performance
- try to stay above 30mb on phone memory --> better use apps2sd or app2ext for your apps
- do not apply any theme you can find on miui.com or via Theme-app...some are not made for newest version and might cause lagging or malfunction on your phone --> so be careful with themes
- for Gaming and Navigation, you should enlarge your Overclocking up to 1000 mhz

I'm a bit skeptical because of the normal MIUI experience is not that great on Milestone.
Is this ROM faster than the other MIUI? Anyway i'm flashing it in 10'. Will check to see how it performs.

yeah let us know.. i'm curious if it'd be faster or not 'cause the ROM from miuiandroid.com is sometimes.. awfully slow, FCing all the time etc.

I'm finally making the jump to your ROM, I've been using the last Lalit release- just can't take the issues from that ROM an more - I'm assuming it's the same I just need to wipe dalvik?

It is indeed faster than the other MIUI rom. Applications and tasks overall are snappier and you can feel it. The interface also receives a bit of aesthetic bump (some icon changes) and overall it is a usable rom
If you are used to the speed of the fastest ROMs out there (FroyoMod 2.7.0 and Telus Lite) then this ROM is not for you. Even though it is faster than the MIUI rom, it is nowhere near the level of Froyomod. I tried it for a while and had to give up. Battery drain is normal, on the level of CM7 and other gingerbread releases (which is not spectacular, really)
Im back to FroyoMod for now thanks for the ROM anyway

There is an urgent Workaround for ALL of you doing or have done a FullWipe before applying my ROM - no prob for people coming from an earlier MIUI-version and just wiping caches and dalvik:
--> several Apps are not showing up in launcher (the ones usually in Tool-Folder), though they are properly installed (calculator, monitor, superuser).
You have to do following workaround to prevent these apps from not showing up:
- boot to OR
- FullWipe
- first apply the following MIUI-ROM (it's my English version of MIUI 1.5.20): http://www.multiupload.com/57EZS6DHRR
- reboot (this is important step!!!)
- boot back to Recovery
- Wipe caches and dalvik
- Apply multilang version MIUI 1.5.20 form startpost
- reboot
--> All apps mentioned above will show up properly in Tool-Folder
I don't know, why this happens in multilang version, but I will dig into it.

translation is not the work I do - it's fantasic job of xavierjohn22 and his team. They do not offer Persian language at the moment...sorry

It because XJ uses a custom default launcher workspace on his multilang pack.
You should decomplile both Launcher2.apk from your base rom and multilang pack and replace "res/xml/default_workspace.xml" on the langpack with the one from the base rom. then build tha apk again and it'll be OK.
May be (I'm not sure) replacing the file without decompiling from one APK to the other could work, but I'm not sure.
EDIT: If there's a "/res/xml-en" folder in the base rom you should use this one and copy to "/res/xml" on the langpack (so it'll be default and not localized)
BTW, if the 4-way reboot you are including in your rom is the one I compile @miuiandroid credit and link to my post will be appreciated.

The rom itself is nice and quick,love the wallpaper not to keen on the green status bar icons ie :-battery, signal but thats just me .I did go on the kitchen earlier to do a few mods but they kept coming back as errors I think it was to do with fusion akp,so overall good rom just needs a bit of modding and maybe a custom kernel, LorD ClockaN is good link here and maybe include [APP] OC/UV Beater2 v1.6 - GUI to change Virtuous_ here with his permission of course

Hiya thanks buddy , both of those are already implimented in our test builds, we just need to request permission to use them . Also unity v9 kernel works quite nicely but we will need to test all available kernels and see which renders more speed,performance and reliability
I will be back in a few hours and ill see what we can put together with some added goodies

Thanks man, just checked ur PM as well. As Smokey mentioned, several trials going on with the next versions to be released & we also wanted feedback from you guys for things which we've ignored or left in the initial release.
Good potential for this for me, i personally can't stand all this 3d nonsense thats cropping up everywhere these days...
What i would prefer though is a standard miui style lockscreen, really ain't fussed on the standard android one...
Just my personal prefs so don't shoot me down

And one suggestion Yes it is your rom you can have whatever apps on it but kindly dont add 3rd party apps like Apex and Es Friends who uses it will be happy but guys like me always like pure MIUI experience.If our friends need they can install it separately and its easy too.But if you add it in your rom it became system app so removing a system app is not easy as installing a app.Once again its just a suggestion you can cook the rom as you wish.Really thanks for the rom.

Hey Buddy,
Keyboard is not working for me . An error is shown that android keyboard stopped working after i flash the Gapps , i also tried the orignal cynogenmod Gapps but still the Keypad not working .

No worries I'll have the keyboard fixed and updated to the latest version whilst I'm at it. Did LatinIME update upon flashing GAPPS? My keyboard is relying on an older library you see.
Edit: Derp, brain fart of the day! Gapps would have replaced my keyboard libraries.. Please flash the attached zip file via recovery. Those who've applied Gapps, please do so afterwards.
Edit|Edit: Gapps has now been updated to resolve this issue. New comers please download Gapps and apply, existing user's please flash the attachment in this post or refer to FAQ on the second post.

If it's present I can solve it, however I've not experienced this issue as of yet. Calls are coming through promptly.

I might check if it's still there later, I got kind of used to SVHD after switching between roms, so I'm not really in the mood to change right now.
But it'd be nice. MIUI looked cool, but it was way too laggy and had that terrible 4-6 second lag before the ringtone would rang, so it was too much of a pain to use.

I won't be going anywhere so when you do decide too, please be sure to keep me updated on any bugs if present. I'm an active developer and provide update's where & whenever possible. I understand and appreciate your concern, this was a major annoyance in CM11 roms for me. Missed many calls. There are tweaks to circumvent this issue and they will be tested and issued out if required.
As a notice to all. JBMIUI will under-go further ammendments to enhance your experience and performance from your device. This will happen in part through each release, as I adopt my JBMIUI Sensation Experience into JBMIUI for Desire HD.
Since this is the first release for Desire HD, there will of coarse be more benefits to reap in the future.

hey developer, have u heard any news about miracast on CM series?
your rom based on cm 10.1 and u say u 've got 4.2.x features,
does your rom got a working miracast function?

One question before I flash. Which kernel are you using and is the ROM based on any specific CM build (Mustafalkosta's/RB's) or did you compile it from source?
