No worries I'll have the keyboard fixed and updated to the latest version whilst I'm at it. Did LatinIME update upon flashing GAPPS? My keyboard is relying on an older library you see.
Edit: Derp, brain fart of the day! Gapps would have replaced my keyboard libraries.. Please flash the attached zip file via recovery. Those who've applied Gapps, please do so afterwards.
Edit|Edit: Gapps has now been updated to resolve this issue. New comers please download Gapps and apply, existing user's please flash the attachment in this post or refer to FAQ on the second post.

If it's present I can solve it, however I've not experienced this issue as of yet. Calls are coming through promptly.

I see.
I might check if it's still there later, I got kind of used to SVHD after switching between roms, so I'm not really in the mood to change right now.
But it'd be nice. MIUI looked cool, but it was way too laggy and had that terrible 4-6 second lag before the ringtone would rang, so it was too much of a pain to use.

I won't be going anywhere so when you do decide too, please be sure to keep me updated on any bugs if present. I'm an active developer and provide update's where & whenever possible. I understand and appreciate your concern, this was a major annoyance in CM11 roms for me. Missed many calls. There are tweaks to circumvent this issue and they will be tested and issued out if required.
As a notice to all. JBMIUI will under-go further ammendments to enhance your experience and performance from your device. This will happen in part through each release, as I adopt my JBMIUI Sensation Experience into JBMIUI for Desire HD.
Since this is the first release for Desire HD, there will of coarse be more benefits to reap in the future.

Thanks man, it's really great to hear that.
I'll check it out this weekend, will report any major issues then!

hey developer, have u heard any news about miracast on CM series?
your rom based on cm 10.1 and u say u 've got 4.2.x features,
does your rom got a working miracast function?

Nice to see a new "Recognized Developer" on the DHD thread.
One question before I flash. Which kernel are you using and is the ROM based on any specific CM build (Mustafalkosta's/RB's) or did you compile it from source?

FAQs
Q: Why you are also making Non-A2SD Builds ?
A: I'm also making Non-A2SD because most of the users have s-off their devices so they don't need A2SD.
Q: Which build should i download English build or Multi Language build ?
A: English is in both builds but if you only speak English then download the English one because its smaller and fits into any HBOOT & if you don't speak English or speak more then one languages then choose the Multi Language build.
Q: Whats the difference between the English build and Multi Language Build ?
A: The English build only support's English language and is 17MB smaller and Multi Language build supports every Language including English.
Q: I'm having call delay and its really annoying what to do?
A: Make sure you are not on the leaked HTC Gingerbread Radio and call delay bug has been reduced since V2.

:::::::::::: DESCRIPTION :::::::::::::
Hi, this is my last Miui Pikachu Edition. As the Defy gets right now CM10 and more Features are added or Bugs are fixed, it is only a question of time when everybody will be on CM10. Still it has to grow and proof its daily usage, but it is on a good way to get it done in a couple of weeks.
Still my girlfriend ( which owns the Defy ) doesn't like CM10 at all. She will stay with MIUI V2 for the rest of the Defy live ( maybe until I develop a good Miui V4 Version ) and I thought to make a final FIX Version. This Version added some new features, fixed old ones and have been tested with 4 Versions. This time everything should work perfectly, but as we know this are custom roms, there can be always some problems.
I will still provide SUPPORT and if something has to be fixed it will be.

:::::::::::: KNOWN BUGS ::::::::::::
Mute BUG during call. FIX FOR MUTE CALL (included in Rom since 27.09)
3DGallery is not deleting pictures, it is a common bug
Torch on the Lockscreen works for seconds, known BUG
PowerAmp has problems with 15 Steps Volume Tweak -> solution: Power Amp Settings -> Audio Engine -> Advanced Tweaks -> Uncheck ‘Direct Volume Control
::::::::::::: ROM LANGUAGES ::::::::::::::
German
English
Spanish
:::::::::::::::: INSTALLATION ::::::::::::::::::
Really Easy!!! just boot into CWM and click on install zip -> choose zip and everything will be explained during the installation. My last version was also made with AROMA Installer, but this time I included more stuff in it. Don't be afraid AROMA Installer is set up in 3 languages; German, English and Spanish.
IMPORANT!!! this Rom works only on Defy or Defy+ with Froyo Kernel or Gingerbread 2.3.4/5 Kernel. All with 2.3.6 Kernel can try to downgrade to Froyo Kernel, because the new Motorola Kernel won't work with MIUI. Just use this Tutorial on XDA Developers
:::::::::::::::::::::: VIDEO ::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I made a small Video which shows everything from the installation to the final system. Moreover, I show some Apps inside MIUI to get you a feeling for Miui Pikachu Edition.

Tried this ROM the other day to test aroma installer, looks great but when I tried it was in German, does the installer comes with english too?
Looks awesome! I will try it for sure.
There is a chance to add Polish language? It`s available in the normal "MIUI" so I think it`s possible to implement it here

I Have been following this rom for quite some time now on www.custom-android.de even doe i understand very little german .... You always have some of the best tweaks on your roms and i love the new aroma installer..... Thanks for bringing it to XDA.
iam self polish, but I can't write polish. Maybe if you help to translate the AROMA Installer strings and if I add polish strings to the Apps, but this will be a lot of work. Therefore, I hate to add more languages. SOO much work if I want to make it right and not using a multilanguage version like Wajk ( who does a great work )
Very interesting but. Does anyone tried if it really charge 100% in the defy+?

Yup I guess it is a hard, monotonous work. need to add a translation to over hundred of applications ... But it would be nice to use this rom in native language
As for "Aroma Installer" I can translate it. It would be nice if you send me PM and write exactly which files I neet to translate

Hi TweetyPeety,
Thank you for the rom, I downloaded and will try it.
Can I ask what is the Telocation Provider app in the rom?
(as I know it is a kind of Chinese network location app and it is active in background all the time. Many miui rom makers have removed it from their rom because it is only "useful" in China.)
can be never thought about it because it was always in our German Rom
if it is so, I will remove it from the rom
Have tried CM7.2, WIUI, MS2G and Pikachu MIUI on my DEFY+ and Pikachu is the ROM I'm sticking with. It has the speed of CyanogenMod, yet it is more stable and MUCH better looking! I'm loving it! (The CPU is set @1ghz and it's really faster than WIUI @1.1ghz)
@TweetyPeety I'm the guy who's boring you to death with e-mails
Oh, look...Pikachu in English...Thanks bro...
And thanks to Niksy+ too cause he was responsible for bringing this ROM to XDA
(I made him to make TweetyPeety translate all into English )
I will try it for sure. I can't wait to try out that new Touch Installer
And if battery life is more than 2 days...
Will post test results.
hmm Niksy+ doesn't say me something, I made it to english because MIUI has English in it and thought maybe XDA will love it too. Thanks so Sesme it is also Spanish, because he translated all MY English tags into Spanish. Don't remember that somebody helped me with the English translation. Anyway, it is in English and hopefully you like it.
and anyway Niksy+ don't know, but thanks
Looks awesome!! great features, i'll try it for sure.
ah,i need to flash CEE or nordic previously, and then root and sndinit? i dont understand the install procedure.
The best ever rom i try...
Thanks for this awesome ROM! ! It's really great! !
And the touch installer...well...what can I say? ? ? It's really impressive! !
Thanks a lot to tweetyPeety and Sesme for translating it into Spanish! It's a really great team work! !

Yes, though its getting better and better. Since yesterday for example, the camera is VERY usable now!
Does bluetooth work properly in this build or does it still stop streaming with every little obstruction?

One noob question sorry. Turning the Force GPU rendering may affect the ram memory, or the battery drain?

Actually, turning this on lowers CPU usage because its the GPU that renders, so it might even be beneficial for the battery,,,

FAQ
Q. After installation the following application appears to have frozen. Is this normal?
A. Upon first boot many applications will need some time to configure, please be patient and 'wait' the not responding dialogue out until functionality resumes.
Q. I am unable to allow an application ROOT. How can I solve this?
A. In order to gain control over ROOT and to be prompted when an application request's for it you must locate the 'Permissions' application from your Home Screen then navigate to > ROOT (Manage ROOT Permission) > Enable Permission Manager (Toggle ON).
Q. There are minor graphical glitches noticeable when using menu's. Why is this?
A. The default MIUI theme seems to implement animations upon menu selection which causes this strange behavior, for the meantime use an alternative theme from the Theme Manager or ignore the very minor glitches until I locate a resolution.
Q. Is JBMIUIv5 based on the Sense Framework? Also is this the real deal or just a themed v4 rom?
A. No, JBMIUIv5 and all the previous series are based upon CM10 which is exactly how it ought to be dished! MIUI has always been primarily optimized for AOSP/CM10. Furthermore I'd never do that to you, I'm very much against misleading information therefore I proudly announce that JBMIUIv5 is indeed the latest firmware release from Xiaomi.
Q. Is a full wipe - Data, Cache + Dalvik required before installing?
A. Yes unless stated otherwise I always recommend performing a full wipe prior to installation to avoid data mismatch/corruption which could ultimately lead to the loss of data or a even a bootloop preventing the device from booting to ROM.
Q. I have a bug to report, how can I ensure this information is added to your to-do list?
A. Simply PM me with your report and I'll do my up most to solve said issue. If I believe that your issue is caused by other means I'll communicate with you to troubleshoot.
Q. I am a developer, can I port your ROM to another device without your acknowledgement/confirmation?
A. No, please respect my wishes and contact me prior to beginning any work to minimize dispute and confirm ROM usability. A majority of the time I'll help aid you in developing your skills, using someone else's work doesn't teach you the ropes, learning it yourself with pointers from willing devs does.
Q. I am unable to install "xxxxxx" application from the market, the phone soft reboots upon doing so. Is there a solution?
A. Without your assistance solving issues like these can become tedious, information like application name, version and a logcat to accompany your report is extremely beneficial to a developer in order to pursue a resolution to your select case. Doing this beforehand could save us both alot of time in seeking a fast resolution.
Q. Has the Sim Pin issue experienced in the closed beta of JBMiuiv5 been resolved?
A. Yes, the public release brings a large number of fixes over the closed beta that was available for donators, this includes a fixed Telephony structure resolving the Sim Pin soft reboot issue.
Q. Is there a team behind JBMIUI?
A. No, I am a sole developer at present. All of the work you see and use today has been developed/ported by myself. Please respect I also have a life to juggle and not to demand to much from your developers or ask for ETA's.
Q. Some system resources are misaligned or incorrectly sized, will this be solved?
A. Yes. The list of resources which are incorrect are at a very low figure and being solved at a fast rate (none present which will get in the way of usability). The reason this has come about is the device from which JBMIUIv5 was ported from unfortunately does not share our screen size. As soon as newer devices become officially supported by MIUI you'll see proper implementation of alignment and sizing of system resources globally. However in the meantime I am doing the best I can to minimize this figure.

Hey. Thank you kind sir, pleasure. As long as it remains alive, development shall continue! Aha. I haven't forgotten about the Nokia X port, the RIL is becoming alot of work to get functional. With only two of us it's been quite demanding. I admit I've not kept myself updated on newer ports for the Nokia X; mostly due to life jumping in the foreground. I will take the time to play around with some newer builds and see what I can do.
Right now I'm going to fix those remaining issues on lewa; browser, camera and google search fc on keyboard. Along with any others I come across and/or reported. Perhaps make it even more speedier

As long as we are alive, is isn't late. I was soo eager to try out Nokia's own Android build they made. But it keeps dying as the days goes by. Though I tried some app ports but it isn't like running the fully functionality os port.
I try MUI and it was fantastic except for some FCS and its lagging issues.
I believe Lewa is also great. Keep up the good work. Though I will like to see the most popular oses port for our device, people like you and Musta are doing great job of keeping our device alive as much as you can.

Installation Instructions:
All new and existing users will be required to (re)install the rom using the below procedure to solve Google Search FC.
1) Install the originally provided rom via recovery as normal (existing users, no need to re-download)
2) Flash new (Updated 17/09/14) GAPPS link provided as usual via recovery
3) Finally, flash Update1_LewaOS_5-1_16-09-2014_DHD_s89.zip via recovery and reboot
The above order is crucial in order to avoid keyboard FC due to gapps Latin_IME library differing from APK.

Beeurgh looks like I need to rework the GAPPS package, it's not loading anything for me. Anyone confirm?
EDIT: Hold of downloading the current GAPPS new comers until I've fixed it.
Update: Fixed. Gapps link updated (17/09/14), reinstall following the updated installation instructions with working GAPPS.
You are Phenomenal
Keep up the good work.:good:
Headphones are not working
Hey @Stickman89,
Wonderful work mate! :good:
Installed this ROM couple of hrs ago. Did some basic testing and glad it passed on that.
Till now got one issue:
The headsets are not working while playing music. I have tried both stock as well as Sony MDR series headphones but those are not working, every time the sound is coming through loud speaker.
Please fix this asap.
Thanks for your time and Job well Done.
