Can not!!!!!
You can...... but the HTC dongle website is down and trying to find anotherway is hopless, everyone bangs on about it being EXTREAMLY ILLEGLE, ALMOST TERROR ACTS, but no one will upload a link to a tool and leave it down to us to choose wether we want but plugging by FEDs because w want a new IMEI
I think can be done with medusa box. Registration process the phone solved a legal way.

Good luck,
Well, there are two problems here. First, there doesn't exist a single Nokia phone that runs Windows Mobile. Second, the ROMs and Radios on this forum are specific to HTC Manufactured devices for the most part, and there's no general ROMs or Radios that are device, OS, and hardware agnostic. Sorry
Okay but the phone I have does run windows mobile software and Im just gonna flash a HTC rom and radio see how it works as soon as I find out how to bootload this joint lol
There is an N97 CLONE that runs Windows Mobile, though.

is this the one with a dual sim and the silver antenna thingee for getting tv reception? heard those were made in china...
XD, as soon as he said that he verified that it was a Windows Mobile phone. I knew it was one of those fake phones. Dude, you got scammed.
Was this your phone? http://shanzai.com/index.php/bandit...97-clone-runs-windows-mobile-uses-heavy-metal
Or is it this one? http://www.micsourcing.com/NOKIA-N9...Cell-Phone-White-(2GB-TF-Card)-848-20180.html
LOL you should just bought an HTC Touch Pro if you wanted an atleast decent windows mobile phone for 200 to 800.
It was more like the second one you posted and its a fake of course but its still a windows mobile phone nevertheless I just think Its trying to connect to chinas towers instead of US towers.

Well sory to tell you, but making a device flashable with other ROM it takes a looooooot of work by professionals, to figure it out how. For every device it's different story. So a device needs a lot of support on some forum, that there is even a chance someone will make ROM for you device. NEVER INSTALL ROM FROM ANOTHER DEVICE. If you do that by by phone.
And your phone being a clone most certainly does not have any forum on the internet at all, so there is almost no chance, that you will be able to change ROM on your device.
But if it has Windows Mobile there is still a lot of customization you can do and settings and hacking to make it work like your want. So phone doesn't react at all when SIM is inside? Couse in WM 6.1 SIM should be detected and do some automatic settings stuff.
There is a chance all that you have to do, to get a signal is set the right band frequenties, the ones your country uses. That is dome somewhere in settings, if you don't know which ones you must set, call your operator.
i think i want one. how do you like yours?

I thought that it was down to my faulty GPS....
Will soon find out when i send it off for repairs.... Again....
Hey guys...
I was unfortunate enough to come across some aroma/twrp bug while updating my kernel and now my phone is bricked. Oh well, life happens. I am going to have to send it in for JTAG repair. I found that mobiletechvideos.com does JTAG repair for $60 so that's not all terrible. Do any of you have experience with them? Is there service good? From what I can tell they look legit..
On their website they also also have numerous "addons" you can choose for your order such as "ROM/Root upgrade service" and "S-off". Now, does that mean that once I get the phone back it will be in a state where I cannot root the device? I have my old bootloader unlock code from before... would that work to root the phone after this procedure is performed? It is my understanding that they (mobile tech videos) modify whatever image they push to your phone to include your IMEI information. Would that give me troubles if I tried to unlock the phone using my old unlock code?
Perhaps I should email them directly.
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
I would ask them, but I believe they can set things up however you want. I recall seeing one person saying they got it back s-off, etc.

I sent them an email. Yeah, you can pay extra for S-off etc.. but if I get the phone back in a state that I can do this myself why waste my money, right? I'll let you know when they get back to me.

Scroll down and you'll see a huge list of devices supported by the one box. More devices added with firmware updates to the box. Ships from the uk as there is no distributor on this side of the oceans. afaik
But there are distributers on this side. Madusa riff boxes will do the same thing. The JTag site has a list of suppliers that sell riff boxes in the US. Since more devices are becoming usb supported, the need for soldering is limited to certain devices.

does JTAG'ing void the warranty as they have to open up the phone? I haven't looked in depth at videos of people opening up the phone but I can only imagine that they ahve some stickers inside...
If not, I'd definitely send my phone to them if it meant I could get S-OFF even though I'm on JB

I imagine it voids the warranty. But then again, unlocking the bootloader and rooting your phone could also void the warranty...
Thanks Venomtester, I guess I'll start packing up my phone then.
I used mobiletechvideos to fix my HBOOT and S-OFF and they did a fantastic job on both. I would recommend them to anyone looking for that service.
So I kow Mobile Tech does jtag but what if u dont have the IMEI because i got this phone in a trade and it doesnt have a IMEI sticker or whatever. I forgot to even write it down. Anyways I am not going to use the phone on contract so is there any other possible solutions?

If someone has lost it I'm guessing it will be blocked and won't be able to make a phone call or use mobile data. You should hand it in to the police to give the owner a chance of getting it back (they might have stuff on their phone that they want to get back) . If you don't then it is theft. I'm pretty sure no one on the forums will help you with this and I hope that they don't.
hello,
yesterday i purchased S20 SM-G980F/DS on a local facebook marketplace from what seemed to be a reputable seller based on his FB profile. We met and he showed me the phone and i had forgotton my sim card removal tool so was unable to put the sim in straight away however the phone was booted up and looked good. It was my fault i should have check but after we made the deal i found a pin and put my sims in. One 3 ireland and the other VF ireland. It took ages for the sims to register on the network and call setup and quality was awful, I kept dropping calls.. At this point i was home and attempted to contact the seller as i suspected something was wrong and then realised he blocked me on both Facebook and the phone number was switched off. I contacted Samsung Ireland and they had a quick look and told me the phone is actually panamanian !! and it could be region locked!! I have began trying to change the CSC code using the *#272*IMEI# but the dialler doesn't let me into any menu to select an Irish network. I'm not even sure this is the issue with the phone and i'm hoping that any experts on here may be able to help better than Samsung who were of no help at all. Thanks in advance
